I haven’t camped in a camper before so I guess I’ll say tent camping since that’s all I’ve done? I backpacked a few years ago and that was actually many favorite way of doing it! A new place each night was fun.

As a kid I did lots of tent camping with my family, but not so much anymore. Good memories though!

I love the idea of camping, but I don't think I've had a successful camping trip, especially not in a tent! I'm super glad you enjoyed the box and the things inside! Hi Carole! Didn’t Lara do a great job!? It was so much fun reaching into that magical box of sewing goodies! And yes you need a bobbin carrier for your trips to the holiday home! I’m excited for the new job, and nervous of course but it will be great! I can see a young skinny couple doing just fine in that tiny caravan, I just loved the vintage look too! I love your camp shirt! We live full-time in our RV for almost 9 years so I truly understand the talk around the campfire and on the campsites!!!😅😅😅
Hi Zelda! I saw your video about that top and I wouldn’t be surprised if that pattern is indeed in the circular file 🤣 This calls for an easy project to cleanse the palate! I definitely see better with my glasses nowadays but I’m so used to contacts I can’t give them up! Did you actually live in an RV? So cool! We have a campervan with an awning, which I enjoy but can only manage for 2 nights at a time😂

Hi Mary! Congratulations on your happy mail and especially the closeness of your new job. Not having to drive so far will relieve some stress that you didn't even realize you had. My camping / tenting days are over, but if I ever do, it will have to be in a camper of some sort. Renting a camper makes incredible sense. I've actually done a bit of sewing and had 2 major successes and 1 total dud that I've thrown in the corner. It was chiffon - need i say more? I made a tropical print sundress that is on an emerald green background. I'm not sure of the fabric content, but it is so soft and cool. It's probably some sort of rayon blend because it doesn't wrinkle much. Beautiful drape. The other is a wearable muslin in a beautiful floral rayon print. I'm a sucker for floral. It's~ very similar to the one Carole made on today's upload. She has inspired me to try it in a knit. It's been a very warm summer here in East central Alberta, but I like lots of sunshine and warmth. Summers are short here, and our 6 months of winter will be here sooner than we realize, so no complaints from me. See you next week. Happy sewing! Bernadette

Our winters are pretty long here too, but maybe not as cold as Canada 😉 my favorite temperature is in the late summer early fall❤️ I think florals are for all year too! Have a great weekend 🧵❤️❤️
