I love your GREAT idea to write the date of the pattern piece adjustments you make!! That sounds so helpful for keeping track of the order of different versions.

I those earrings came from Temu actually 😂🐝 I love bees I just don’t like to get near them🙀I’m so glad the shoulder adjustment worked too -I’m not sure what caused those wrinkles though🤷♀️but I will be using it on all the tops from now on! I might try to fix that Juliet by adding a hem band we shall see…. I’m glad you love the way I talk- it even cracks me up sometimes-😂😂Have a great weekend ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Mary, I love the fabric you used for the Juliet top. If you have enough fabric left over you could gather it into a matching sweatshirt type band. Also for your rainbow top. It would give a finished look rather than looking like something you sewed on the bottom. I've been sewing my first French seams on chiffon. Slow and steady and lots of seam ripping to straighten the seams. By the time I hung it together, I was pretty accomplished. Practise makes perfect. I bought an oversized bamboo silverware tray from Ikea that I keep on a desk height filing cabinet by my sewing machine sorting my tools in different comparrtments. Happy sewing! 👚🧵🪡
Hi Bernadette, as always you got my brain wheels turning- thank you for that suggestion- I do have extra fabric-and I have the waistband from my tankini top that just might work!! I don’t think I’ve ever sewn chiffon, that sounds like you are challenging yourself! I love that silverware tray idea! I have a dedicated drawer just under my table that’s supposed to be where everything goes but that means I have to put it away😂😂 have a great weekend, thanks again ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Mary! Ooo I couldn't sleep in ITY, too hot for me 😅. Shame about the Juliet top but someone has made a great suggestion about a wide double fold hem on the bottom? You did the pin tucks so nicely❤. Yes the pattern instructions were conflicting and confusing with their use of words. I love that fabric on the LDT, looks a good fit to me!

I asked the question about a dress form on my video today. I see you have a dress form behind you. How did you base how you were going to purchase that? Did you go by your actual measurements, or did you buy smaller or larger? I don't know how to determine how to pick one yet.
Hi Zelda! I love that hashtag and showing off my hot mess!!! I bought my dress form on Amazon and tried to get as close to my measurements as possible but I can’t get the waist to expand enough and the next size up would have been too big 😂 I plan on padding it eventually-or dropping some inches 😂 thank you for watching and happy sewing!!!❤️❤️❤️
Zelda I bought one to fit my shoulders (the one I had before was too wide on the shoulders and thus was too broad on the back and the front), put a stuffed D cup bra on it and padded the tummy area by wrapping fibrefill around it and securing it with plastic wrap. I widened where necessary with the adjustments on the form. I found it on Facebook Market Place in new condition. The lady had never used it and it was still in the box. She had just opened it to look at it. Good luck, there are so, many options out there. 🧵🪡 Bernadette

@SuzySunshine Thank you for the information. So you had to buy another dress form because the first form was too wide on the back, correct.?
@ZeldaSews yes, the shoulder width and back. Fortunately, I can use the larger one for my daughter.
