Geez stop with the age discrimination already!!! "angry 59 yr old nurse, attending who is my 65 yr old grandpa"! I am an older nurse who has been away awhile and come back on the floor, and I hate to tell you that there are also some young nasty people on the floor. Age has nothing to do with who will be an asshole on the floor. And it also has nothing to do with who your listeners will be. Nursing is a career that attracts people of all ages, not just 20 years olds.
Very true! People definitely can bully and be victims of bullying at all ages. In fact, some of the worst I have seen is from people with < 5 years experience. Compensating for the lack of expertise by putting others down :-(
Yeah, just a recommendation to watch the "ageism" remarks...I just turned 55 and will be graduating in May 2024! I think what is important is always having a growth mindset at ANY age! Age is not necessarily a self-limiting factor, but I do think a lack of a growth mindset is. Thank you for your videos!!! @@confidentcareacademy
