Been to Thailand, eaten Thai durians. Been to Vietnam, eaten Vietnam durians and been to Indonesia and eaten Indonesian durians. Nothing, seriously nothing comes even close to the delightful aroma and taste of Musang King. I tried Black Thorn a few years ago, but seriously Musang King is the King of the world, without doubt!
It's true Musang King is deemed the best but i've tried one small Kampung Durian bought from some malay kampung stall on my way to Ipoh from KL ( using the old road ) ... I tell ya.. that's is the best .. Creamy and it taste like milk .. until now , i can't find that Kampung Durian anymore . Maybe some rare breed durian .
I prefer Red Prawn and Black Gold Durian, i eat it every week, used to drive to Johor every week to have it but ever since Malaysia's MCO, i stopped going and have to buy imported.
Thanks to all of you in America for this promoting durian while you're enjoyed it. The Musing King no doubts among best of the best , I am proud to all of you from Penang Malaysia
Durian kampung sedap buat bubur...haha. Anyway this reminded me of my time living in Sacramento, CA. Yup went to Asian market to get my durian. Bought some durian home and the whole apartment complex were curious of the smell. Hence, bubur kacang durian was cooked and gave some to the neighbours in the complex and boom...they love it. Even my god mother love it. I guess bubur durian kinda mellow down the taste and smell yet introduced the American to durian. Thanks for the video and bravo Rachel...

So when I went back home in Perak the home of Durian orchards, I just bought them from roadside durian vendors and they're really affordable. We even have all you can eat sessions but it's what you can eat at the orchards only, no takeaways. My wife has learn to love durian when she was pregnant with our first daughter. Turns out only my eldest daughter really loves the durian. Even though they love the durian, they don't eat it as much as I can.. ;)
Glad you guys enjoying durians at home even though they’re definitely not fresh ones,Mike’s good in opening durians, glad your wife & son like it too,M’sian durians are much better than other countries...enjoy & cheers
Duriaaaannn😍😍😍😁 Congratulations Rachel, welcome to Durian World👏👍😁 I don't know if you guys can find Udang Merah, D13, XO, Black Thorn there...some of the other types. If you are in Msia and it's durian season, perhaps you can check out Klang Town Durian Station. I've not been there but someone shared a video about the place recently. They do deliveries as well. Of course there are other famous spots like in PJ, etc. Also, I've read that some of the tips of finding good durians are: 1) go for rounder-shaped ones 2) lighter (whole durian) is better as heavier ones can mean that the fruit is too ripe n so, watery 3) look for more spaced out & shorter thorns...they say they tend to have more flesh 4) some also shake the fruit but i cant be too sure if you can hear sound that means it's good, or the other way around Just some of the tips i can recall. We haven’t seen any of those kinds here, but will look for them! And thanks for the very helpful guidance for how to pick the perfect durian. We will use your advice next time we pick one out!
Black thorn took over the spot of Musang King as the king of durian although some people still prefer Musang King (or Tekka) over it. Personally I still prefer durian kampung, quantity over quality for me thankyouverymuch.
not every black thorn is good , it depends on the age of the durian tree, older tree better durian, when the black thorn trees get older definitely will surpass the musang king
I'm from Klang to bro that means we're 1 kampung I guess. Now I'm living in Penang. You guys should comes to Penang and try the Balik Pulau durians bro. Its the best....
D24 is the best if you don't like bitterness. If you somehow get a good one it almost taste like icecream. Musang king and black thorn is more to the bitter side. Its not bad bitter, but balanced. If you like black coffee, the bitter variant would be great. I'd usually introduce beginners to durians with something like D24
Hi, i would like to suggest u try making fermented durian next time. We call it "tempoyak". Mix the fresh durian with salt, put into airtight container & keep in the refrigerator. Then u can cook it whenever you want. Simple way to cook tempoyak, u fry it with anchovies, chilies, & prawn. Then serve with hot rice. Good luck! ( Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾❤)
Wow I’m from klang too my friend! Never heard of your channel before tbh.. youtube just recommended this video outta nowhere cuz of the durian season here. Part of me actually feels bad for you and your family cuz you can’t have the fresh durians sold here by the streets everywhere in klang. Fresh durians made in malaysia are seriously the bomb. Even the cheapest ones would taste amazing. You almost can’t go wrong with em here. Hope you come down here to get some cuz I guarantee you, your wife would fall in love with it! You have a lovely family and I wish you all well!!
So glad you stumbled upon our channel, always great to hear from a fellow friend in Klang! We definitely can’t wait until we can come back to Malaysia and eat all the durian 🤤
For those who can’t get used to the texture of durian, freeze it first. Then take it out and let it defrost a little until it’s just soft enough to bite pieces off. It like durian ice cream without the “slimy” texture that many can’t get over.
Duri hitam mahal nak mampus hahaha. kawan aku beli sebiji RM 170!. Cuba cari durian hijau baserah. Durian tu popular di Kuantan. Sebab asal durian tu didaftarkan di Baserah Kuantan. Itu Durian paling sedap bagi saya.Kalau di Kuantan Durian tu banyak ditempah oleh pihak istana.
I’m from Vietnam 🥰 Definitely love durians from all the countries. I tried Musan King once, Idk why but it was bitter at first, after that it became sweeter 👌🏻
mitos saja la..puas dh minum smbil mkn durian..masa camping dekat dusun durian malam2 memang ada bawa arak untuk panaskan diri.boleh je minum smbil makan durian.
Well we are seeing durian back at home Logesh🤤 at every jalan there is a lorry filled with durians!!! I like D 101 too !!! It’s really sedap bro!! Perhaps make pulut durian and get Rachel to try before she delivers your baby🥰
So happy to see that all of u get to enjoy durians like we do at home ( Msia). Stay safe everyone. Btw, durians are high in calcium n lots of vitamins. They are worth it!
Woww kumaar.. I like your content. Good job bro. Malaysia and durian never be apart 😂😂😂 😂 it's so honour that u far from home but still can eat durian and never forget that. Most of all, all malaysian in different races can eat durian. Durian united us 😋👍👍👍 hai from 🇲🇾
Tips: If you want to cut the durian, cut it at the pointy bottom part. You can see a line looks like a star. Cut through the whole line. It will be easy. Rachel, please don't eat to much since you're pregnant. The durian is kind of cause your body to feel hot & sweating. Too cool down your body, drink pure coconut juice. Durian itself is so good. But you also can make kuah durian (durian + santan + sugar + pinch of salt) & eat it with a roti jala or bread. Whichever you like. From Perak, Malaysia 😊
Honestly, I don't eat fresh durian but I loved tempoyak (fermented durian) nice to have with hot rice and fried fish. I can go crazy with tempoyak. The sweet and sour taste of the tempoyak.. ohh my, I can just eat that with fresh cucumber like eating salad. 😅😅
Tempoyak is in a different category all together.....not for newcomers, but once you’ve tried it with the perfect combination, there’s no turning back😋😋
I just ate Musang King for a few days last week.. i suffered.. careful man, durian king is kinda "strong" hahahah Also Musang King is quite sweet, i like to eat it with rice.. recipe: rice+musang king(2-3 ulas)+coconut milk.. if the durian is not sweet and a bit bitter like D24 or Blackthorn, you can add sugar (usually palm sugar/gula melaka).. Mix them all together with ur hand and eat it.. Usually i prefer the bitter type durians like D24 or Blackthorn.. Musang King is not my fave as it's kinda too sweet for me.. but i ate it with rice hahahaa
I love the Musang King Durian 👑 . Malaysia is Durian Paradise . I too missed our Klang Valley Kumar. I’m happy to our Malaysian Tamilan in California 🇺🇸💃🏻🕺🏼
I also love durian so much. And yes Rachel, she’s willing to try durian for second time and she love it. Also your son love durian too... ❤️❤️❤️ im so proud that they can eat durian and start to love it...
Wow....good for you, the durians there are much cheaper than in Msia itself.....I remember way back in 1987 ,it was around 5 USD for 1 piece ( seulas) not one whole fruit, in Vancouver, BC.....that wad during my college days.
Wow.. a great break through for Rachel and Dylan.. awesome Myself : musang king Wife (Guangzhou, China) : red prawn Friend from Canada : musang king (commented: that’s what durian suppose to taste like)
😋😋🤤🤤👍👍. Next time coming back to Malaysia plz go eat the fresh durians at a Durian Orchard. The frozen & package durians downgrades the flavor a few notches. Overall good video of durian mukbang. 😃
We definitely will come back sometime during durian season and go get the freshest durian possible! In the meantime we’ll enjoy the frozen ones to help with the home sickness 😉
Klang boy Macha !!!! Anyway a few tips , to take away the smell, you can first wash your hands with the durian seeds or water down the back of the durian shell, then wash with soap. Then to cool down the "heatiness" of the durian by putting a pinch of salt and water into the empty durian shell and drink it up.... Enjoy your durian Logesh !!!!
Hello Klang friend! Those are good tips. Next time I introduce it to someone who is afraid to try (because of the smell), I will use these tips. Thank you so much.

@@khairilizhanazizan9254 yup..D24 mmg asal dari Baserah..kawe tinggal di Batu Hitam
Bro!! You had durian party without us!! Haha love the video!! So glad Rachel is beginning to like them, even Zenden.
Broooo! Next time we will invite you ❤
Malaysia's durians are always the best! Let's all protect this heritage for many centuries to come.
#MalaysiaBoleh 🇲🇾
Really fun watching you guy kenduri durian. Terasa nak cari durian lepas ni.. i watch 3 times ok! I love this channel.
I’m from Vietnam 🥰 Definitely love durians from all the countries. I tried Musan King once, Idk why but it was bitter at first, after that it became sweeter 👌🏻
Same here. I don't like the bitterness of Musan King. I prefer the Vietnamese durian.
Im so proud of you brother. Thank you for introducing our culture to everyone. Love from your proud Malaysian friend here.
but remember, after eating durian do not drink alcohol, because the reaction leads to death .. (order from Malaysia) ..
Yes, good advice!
Bukan mati la. Kalau minum dngn alcohol, kau cuma akan rasa mcm kau nk mati. Sbb pening dia mmg gila2 punya. Bukan terus mati . 😅
Ada driver bas kami masa sekolah dulu mati sbb makan durian dan minum alkohol.
And avoid soft drink / gassy drink
mitos saja la..puas dh minum smbil mkn durian..masa camping dekat dusun durian malam2 memang ada bawa arak untuk panaskan diri.boleh je minum smbil makan durian.
nice bro. happy family. proud to be malaysian
Well we are seeing durian back at home Logesh🤤 at every jalan there is a lorry filled with durians!!! I like D 101 too !!! It’s really sedap bro!! Perhaps make pulut durian and get Rachel to try before she delivers your baby🥰
Hello, I am Chris from Malaysia, first time on your channel, enjoy it. Durian is one of my favourite fruit.
God bless you & your family.
Thanks Chris! So happy you found us 😀
only in Malaysia you can find the best, fresh durians! fresh from the 'dusun'. Anyway, happy for you to having durians in states! 👍🏻
So happy to see that all of u get to enjoy durians like we do at home ( Msia). Stay safe everyone. Btw, durians are high in calcium n lots of vitamins. They are worth it!
The funny thing is I’m eating my durian while watching this 👍🏼👍🏼 - durian season ya’ll in Malaysia
Julius Chunggat I’m so jealous! 😭
Me too
Woww kumaar.. I like your content. Good job bro. Malaysia and durian never be apart 😂😂😂 😂 it's so honour that u far from home but still can eat durian and never forget that. Most of all, all malaysian in different races can eat durian. Durian united us 😋👍👍👍 hai from 🇲🇾
Yes, Durian= 1 Malaysia!
Love it when your son try the durian
Tips:
If you want to cut the durian, cut it at the pointy bottom part.
Going fancy. Once a year treat. Your son is now adicted to durian.
Cha...wife u mmg sgt understanding gler...ape pun bangga bro alway bring malaysia in your heart
Hey we are in the same boat! Haha
I love durian but i can't eat tempoyak.. 😅
Tempoyak is in a different category all together.....not for newcomers, but once you’ve tried it with the perfect combination, there’s no turning back😋😋
Glad to see that they like it 💛 Good Job Kumar
I just ate Musang King for a few days last week.. i suffered.. careful man, durian king is kinda "strong" hahahah
Also Musang King is quite sweet, i like to eat it with rice.. recipe: rice+musang king(2-3 ulas)+coconut milk.. if the durian is not sweet and a bit bitter like D24 or Blackthorn, you can add sugar (usually palm sugar/gula melaka).. Mix them all together with ur hand and eat it..
Usually i prefer the bitter type durians like D24 or Blackthorn.. Musang King is not my fave as it's kinda too sweet for me.. but i ate it with rice hahahaa
hey man, came across your channel during quarantine and your videos are super entertaining!
Durians always bring people together. 😍
Very true!
Husband n wife by Malaysian couple is the best, romantic n humanity,i love it.Good family
Wow! Surprise to see Mike is a durian fan! 😁
He might be a bigger durian fan than a lot of Malaysians 🤣
LOvely reaction guys.....Thanks for remembering the Malaysian fruits...
i love to see your happy family ❤️❤️
Share 8kg of musang king with whole family 2 days ago, fresh and easy to get here in Penang. Eating durian with family definitely the fun part.
I love the Musang King Durian 👑 . Malaysia is Durian Paradise . I too missed our Klang Valley Kumar. I’m happy to our Malaysian Tamilan in California 🇺🇸💃🏻🕺🏼
I love Musang King too! Thank you so much for the support ❤️
Great try Rachael!! You will start to like it better soon...👍👍👍
When you're with a Durian enthusiast, you kinda hope they don't eat so much so you can have more :D
🤣
Haha...maybe I'd think that way decades ago, now 2 seeds of the flesh is sometimes too much
Thanks Kumar. You made us appreciate durians more
nice bro. good content. durian is awesome fruits.. smell is heaven .. good try
I also love durian so much. And yes Rachel, she’s willing to try durian for second time and she love it. Also your son love durian too... ❤️❤️❤️ im so proud that they can eat durian and start to love it...

Im glad that you guyz still love durian and both of you from my hometown guyz...
We also try Durian but my boyfriend can't accept 😅😅😅 but you guys handle it very well👍👍👍👍👍👍 Nice to meet you we are Korean and Malaysian couple🇰🇷🇲🇾
Hopefully he can keep trying it and eventually like it! Nice to meet a fellow mixed culture couple!
Ahh the best way to enjoy Durian... With family and friends. :)
a few thousand miles durian. wow
Wow....good for you, the durians there are much cheaper than in Msia itself.....I remember way back in 1987 ,it was around 5 USD for 1 piece ( seulas) not one whole fruit, in Vancouver, BC.....that wad during my college days.
It is currently Durian season and I'm watching people eat durian while eating durian.
I’m jealous bro. I also want fresh durian 😭
Your son is definitely Malaysian haha. You've got yourself a new subscriber from Sabah, Malaysia.
Seeing durians selling in USA kinda surprise me....I guess American loves durian...😂😂😂
Or there’s a lot of homesick people from overseas like me! I’m very thankful I live in California where we can still find most Asian exports
Yes😂
@@KumaarFamily Jauhnya merantau.....

Ayden Vay Nah....only those who migrated or on work visa from South East Asia like Durian. The others don’t really care for it in USA.
Smell aside but the taste is awesome. My favourite fruit here in SG. Always will lookout for the durian season.
that was imported, just imagine the fresh ones, you'll go crazy with musang king
Power Ranger 🤤🤤🤤
Wow.. a great break through for Rachel and Dylan.. awesome
Myself : musang king
Wife (Guangzhou, China) : red prawn
Friend from Canada : musang king (commented: that’s what durian suppose to taste like)
😋😋🤤🤤👍👍.
Next time coming back to Malaysia plz go eat the fresh durians at a Durian Orchard. The frozen & package durians downgrades the flavor a few notches.
Overall good video of durian mukbang. 😃
We definitely will come back sometime during durian season and go get the freshest durian possible! In the meantime we’ll enjoy the frozen ones to help with the home sickness 😉
hi Kumaar, greeting from KL. Great video, keep it up!
Just don't bring the durian near the Germans. .lol. heard about the news.. they got hospitalized.. and i wonder why German can't invade us before 🤣
Hahahaha
Durians is our secret weapon, not forgetting durian scented farts to choke our enemies if they try to invade , LOL
Release the SECRET weapons "DURIANs all time favs 😉🤣🤣
Noor Sapuan , sesak nafas askar Jerman menghidu bau kentut selepas kami makan durian😅
@@tenga3tango that s really hilarious 😄😄
Klang boy Macha !!!! Anyway a few tips , to take away the smell, you can first wash your hands with the durian seeds or water down the back of the durian shell, then wash with soap. Then to cool down the "heatiness" of the durian by putting a pinch of salt and water into the empty durian shell and drink it up....
Enjoy your durian Logesh !!!!
Hello Klang friend! Those are good tips. Next time I introduce it to someone who is afraid to try (because of the smell), I will use these tips. Thank you so much.
@@KumaarFamily Logesh, yeah it's the same tips from those durian farmers and sellers. But seriously me too cannot explained how such method works.... but it works and just mind boggling ...
$18 is kind a bit standard with Malaysian’s prices. Damn this is unfair for local people here Malaysia sold RM20 in raw type!
They r frozen, how can they sell expensive there?
$18×4=Rm72 in malaysia you dumbass malaysia is kinda cheap
Adlirious don’t you understand this... sarcasm?

@@ramzulhallmi2898 kasarnya cara awak komen orang. Ya lah, maaf lah kalau saya silap kira mata wang Dolar dengan RM. Tapi cara komen awak ni tidak bagus. Nanti gadis-gadis tak suka awak. Hahaha
My mom was craving durian when she was carrying me, that's probably why among my siblings I'm the one who loves durian the most.
Terbaik bro..,..Durian : The real forbidden fruit from heaven that fall into Malaysia...
Wowww Durian party, Musang is the best Durian👍🇲🇾
No wonder they hate the frozen Thai durian as the "default" durian and hating it.
Malaysia Durian is THE BEST. Klang represent
Kenneth Ho what’s up Klang friend! 👋
Beautiful family... Thank you for the vlog ♥
