I forgot to mention that this book, in many ways, is sort of a successor to an earlier book by DK called "Disney The Ultimate Visual Guide", which might be worth checking out if you like this one as they both have a lot in common, but still enough different to make them unique to the Disney collector. But of the two, I think this one is better.

I think this book is a beautiful and nice overview of the Disney history, including the latest updates (like Frozen, Big Hero 6 etc). On the other hand, it's not a complete book. I miss pieces like the Saludos Amigos & The Three Caballeros era, the same with treasures as the Reluctant Dragon and Song of the South.
Though it's a good globally Disney book for the bookshelf, and not too expensive.

AWOL: The Black Hole, The Rescuers, The Black Cauldron, and The Sword in the Stone. Late 70s-early 80s period is underrepresented.

Thanks for making this video 🙂 But do you know what`s the difference between this edition and the edition that was released in 2017?

This is the review of the 2017 one. The new edition has been updated with more recent movies, added content on some of the princess movies, and other movies/series/computer games, however it doesn't come with the film strip.
