Zona Parks Just coming to msg you and found this one 1st from you:-).. Yes, she did it the hard way by starting slow but once she roared with the " Come On's ",her game came to life. That was the 2nd set at 2-4 down after losing the 1st set. I wasn't bothered at all because I saw that SW had not lifted her game and usually when her back is against the wall she comes to life. Today was no difference. She came to life and she won:-) . Now her next opponent is S.S. I need for SW to come out in quick start mode and use her come on's the entire match! Lately I have notice she doesn't use her passionate phrasing "Come On" much when she plays S.S... Hopefully SW is not trying to do that on purpose because of S.S. Infamous comment about SW being rude, yelling while they were playing for the 1st time in Brisbane a few years back. Who cares what S.S think about S.W way of being Motivated on the court? It's not personal. That is what SW does with anyone ,therefore S.S.should not get special treatment.. SW, Our girl, should bring all her passion and move on to the Q.F!:-) Hooray for Team Serena on that win today:-)
Our Girl got through this match with her Champion Skills. She did not do the best,"that we know she can do with her Tennis skills". However her mental abilities is amazing to witness in this match.. Hooray for Team Serena that she come away with a win:-)..
The queen lost today but for some reason I'm not THAT upset about it. I watched the match, she didn't play that well which will forever be the reason when she loses. There will never be a case of, Serena coming out and playing well and looking intense but getting outplayed, NEVER. The media will obviously hang on to this one victory just like they did/do with sloanes 1 victory against Serena, ivanovics 1 victory against Serena, haleps 1 win and of course screampingpova.
Zona Parks Darling. You are so right.. Today Serena was sluggish and I knew she was not having a good day, therefore I stopped watching the match know this would lead to a lost. Let's remember Serena is not a spring chicken, so to recover after winning each match is not as easy as it appears and today it showed. That's why I was proud of her lost.. I think she was in some discomfort and That other's would have pulled out. Yet she played.. That is the spirit of a champion. No matter how great SW and "she is the greatest" Whenever she loses MEDIA love to inflate it as the end of her career"LOL" This amazing woman has not lost in 2015 and today she did.. For that they should all be praising her for that fanatic effort..Even though I do not read headlines because they all seem so negative, even when she wins .I bet all of media is cheering and boasting about this match as a real match "Like she really got beat. SW did even play today!!!! We all know SW was not on that court today "Only in body, not in her spirit!" That is why I think she was not feeling well. A Feeling well SW would have came back and took this match like she did to Vika "LOL"// That being said. We both know our girl is a true champion. Others who ride her coat tails for a win to be catapulted in a 5 minutes of fame are simply wanna a be's :-) . BTW, even with her lost she gain more ranking points because last year she only make it to the QF then she withdrew from the tournament with an injury.. That is awesome news,RIGHT:-)?
Childress Giles yep I was happy that she made it to the semis I know she will gain points, she needs to remain number 1 until she retires lol. I will never be angry at Serena when she loses, I will always be angry at the media.
Zona Parks Didn't see because it was during work hours but I caught a highlight reel that satisfied what I need to see.. And I can say,this year vs last year, she seems to want it.. That means she is focus and a SW focused is good for her fans because usually we are honored with her bringing home the goods. :-) . Not going to get ahead myself but I see her intentions and that excites me. SW has no pressure in this tournament which should make her feel free to swing away for the win instead of having pressure of any kind about defending a title,etc. The only thing that could possibly interfere with this is her injury. That is why I will not get ahead of myself about forecasting the ending with her as the champion. However I will remain hopeful until she shows otherwise, for good reasons "our girl is a true champion :-)"
