Our stupid government defines who is handicapped which is just about everybody.

It's annoying when you're the second disabled car to the reserved space. You should ask the first disabled person to move! You are after all even more disabled than they are. You should have precedence.

I actually have before. One time i waited for the spot and an old man swung into the spot before i had the chance even tho i was clearly waiting. I got out and told him i had a guy who is parapelegic with me and had been waiting on the spot and he moved thankfully , he was understanding. Thanks for your comment and have a great day:)

not very fair that people who walk use these spots and prevent u from going places. I know that u pretty much just have to be a certain age and they hand u a placard. Sad when there are 100 year olds running marathons because they actually took care of themselves. Yet fat 60 something year old park there cuz they dont feel like walking far, see it all the time.

You do not get to define who is disabled. If you think that the other people can’t park there because “they have legs” - remember, you can drop Michael off at the door, and he can wait for you. It’s absolutely ridiculous for you to disparage handicapped people.

I think you need to watch the video a few more times. The point is that people who can physically walk chose not to walk as far because they dont feel like it. If i park infront of the door, which is often not an option, i am blocking all of traffic and blocking other people from pulling out of parking spots. You should think about that . I have an invisible illness, im missing a kidney but i dont take the handicap spot because there are people who really need it. Please work with the disabled and humble yourself. And it is an enitre process to get a guy in a wheelchair in and out of a van, you however can jump in and out as fast as you want.

Would you leave a child unattended at any point in time because they can " wait on yoh" to park your car and walk across a parking lot. I have to park across the lot to make sure no one parks infront of his door. You really need a reality check. There is a difference between being handicapped and having a disability , please educate yourself for the sake of peoppe around you.

@@snowhabibi6928 just because a person can begin “walk” doesn’t mean that they can really walk. They may be able to walk for short distances - but not long stances. How do you know that person isn’t going inside and getting into a mobility chair? You simply don’t. You’re making an assumption. It’s not up to you to decide who is handicapped. If you feel that you don’t need to use the spot, then don’t use the spot. But, do not think that you have the right to determine how other people feel. If that old woman goes in the store, gets and falls down and breaks the hip - what then? Honestly, I’m demanding you answer me. What then? Do you care? If that old woman breaks a hip - it’s a death sentence for her. Again, do you care? The next time you want to complain about somebody else,!that happens to have a handicap tag or placard, then my suggestion to you is - don’t.

@@snowhabibi6928 I guarantee you I’ve been dealing with disabled people for far longer than you have. So you need to check your attitude. People like you are absolutely annoying - because you want to get involved in other peoples business. Do you want to go up and tell that woman, and her daughter or family members - that they shouldn’t be parking there. What kind of insane person are you? is that what you want people doing to you?.

@@deebedwell580 youre comparing a hypothetical situation of a woman breaking her hip somehow , because she had to park anywhere besides the handicap spot , to the very real situation of a parapelegic guy who cant walk at all being forced to not go places because there is no where to park. How do you reason this to yourself? The old woman in the video felt bad about parking there when she saw the guy in the wheelchair. You arent even saying if you need the handicap spot but you are acting personally offended. Like i said work with someone disabled , better yet in a wheelchair so you understand how ignorant you sound right now. You know a mobility chair moves itself right? I am the engine that moves mike. He doesnt have the option to move himself around like an old obese person in a mobility scooter. Please read the comments on the sjort about this because there are people who actually are handicapped that are saying that he is the one who deserves the spot. You however clearly have no experience with anyone of any disabilit, its painfully obvious. Like i said there is a definition for handicap, please google it, the definition is right there, you are using the wrollng words because im not defining what is handicap or disabled . Im saying if you can walk, its as simple as that.
