I'm so glad I watched and listened to this video what a great man Dwayne Pinkston
Thank you for watching and your comment.
I looked him up,and seen he passed not too long after this interview , thank God you got some great information out of him so we can all enjoy and reflect on
It was one of the more impactful interviews that I have taken. @@scottydog62
One of, if not THE most interesting interview
Thank you for watching and your comment.
As a retired nursing home supervisor at 71 it’s devastates me knowing how these heroes who wound up in long term care were treated. I remember in particular a former fighter pilot sitting there ringing a bell to to be changed and being attended to finally by disrespectful help.
what a great interview. Pinky you went above and beyond what most people ever will.
Thank you for watching and your comment
is pinky still alive?@@MakingHistoryProject
Unfortunately, Pinky made his final jump some time ago. @@tandltravel2024

Thank you for your service, Mr. Pinkston. I could listen to you tell stories for hours. I'd like to hear about your best life memories. God bless 🙏❤️
Thank you for watching and you kind comment for Duane.
Look at this guy.
Amazing memory.
Absolutely brilliant, many many thx
Thank you for your comment!
Thanksgiving was about the last day of hunting for small game for the year.
I’ve been watching a lot of these videos for a few years now and what a Badass Veteran…Pinky…!!!!
Thanks for watching and your comment
Apart from everything he done in the war, which I love listening about, he seems like a really nice guy. You can see why he’d be so popular in a unit.
Thank you for watching!
@@MakingHistoryProject Thanks for the channel. I absolutely love what you’re doing with these guys. It’s so impressive to hear things from the people that were actually there. These interviews are an amazing part of social history as well as military history. Imagine having interviews like this from soldiers from the Napoleonic wars or American civil war. As long as these interviews are never erased, people can look back on them for generations to come. Amazing.
That is exactly why we do what we do.@@JohnMcMahon.
This old guy is sharper than the interviewer. He's telling you he didn't even carry a gun and a second later you are asking him if he ever had to shoot his gun.
What a great man, so modest with his bravery.
Thank you for watching and your feedback
Thank you veterans
A better man than me!
Thank you for watching.
I am so thankful to Almighty God for using this precious courageous humble man to share his Combat Medic War experiences with us. I believe he truly is a Hero among men, and a man after God's own heart!

"are you the medic? - yeah unless you got someone better" please I'm trying to drink my coffee, not exhale it on to my monitor =]
I really enjoyed Pinkston. The interviewer was poor. His questions were ill timed and frequently off point. The interviewer didn’t listen to Pinkston - he simply went with his questions despite the great responses he got. I stopped listening because the interviewer fumbled so badly. Pinkston had a lot to say.
Thank you for your feedback. What are some specific examples of where you feel the interviewer could have done better?
Most of the interviewers are just to young to fully understand what these soldiers are saying. At times, it does irritate me
Thank you for your feedback. Could you please elaborate more on what your concerns are?
