  • WWII Veteran, George Shenkle, was interviewed on October 18, 2014, in Dallas, Texas. CPL Shenkle was a paratrooper and radio operator with E Company, 508 P.I.R., of the 82nd Airborne during World War II. CPL Shenkle participated in D-Day, Operation Market Garden, and the Battle of the Bulge. ‪@MakingHistoryProject‬

      @@MakingHistoryProject been watching this channel for awhile now I love it and what you do, the stories are amazing I could have sat there and listened to him talk for hours and hours it’s sad he only started talking about it 15yrs ago like how could his friends and family not know he was such an amazing pilot fearless bold and cocky lol I wish he would have been my grandfather…. You do great work thank u n hopefully 🤞 u will see me in Patreon one day
