Her lawyers are just doing their job, but with such an unlikable person as Amber the lawyers should really not ad to that with HOW they execute the job.

This is a case of legality vs facts. Never in my life did I think that was possible. I thought facts were on the side of the law. Apparently, the first amendment beats all according to the defense team. (Ben Rottenborn.) Even if Amber defames Johnny with rape allegations, proven not true.
(e.g. Camille Vasquez, Q: Why didn't you go to the hospital? Amber Heard, A: I didn't need to. Others, as well as myself, Q: After almost being killed and raped? How?)
These accusations are beyond horrid and cruel. There's no way she'd not be scarred for her life. So... Where are the scars? We didn't see them after the photoshoot at all. Those type of scars aren't bloody red after they've healed completely. I know, because I'm a welder and I have worse.

As a woman who loves makeup, the moment I knew for sure Amber Heard was lying was when she went through how she placed her makeup. YOU COLOR CORRECT FIRST BEFORE ANY OTHER PRODUCTS. Any person who uses these products knows you would never put color corrector over foundation or concealer because your face would then be the color of the correcting product (green, peach, yellow, orange, etc) She's a bad actress and she screwed herself over so bad by trying to spin these stories. I'm thankful we were able to watch because now we all understand the torment this man endured over the years he wasted on her.

EXACTLY!!! Any time I had to correct anything on my face, be it dark circles under my eyes, or a blemish, I would color correct it raw to make sure I’m getting the color correct, and then cover up with concealer and foundation.

Honestly, idk anything about makeup, but the way that she kept saying obviously this and that you knew that she was just trying to sound smarter than everybody else so that they didn't question her lies or to make her lie sound more believable so that's when I knew she was lying because honestly the things that she was saying is obvious isn't obvious like it was just kind of weird like she tried to make herself sound like a makeup expert and look everybody knows this and why you would say that to a jury that's mostly men I have no idea I would never think that a man knows all the obvious things about makeup some of them do I'm sure but I wouldn't assume that he does because he doesn't have to put it on (yes I know some men do but u know what I mean). But I noticed throughout that trial that she would try to make herself sound like the most knowledgeable person about things or even act like she didn't care about something that obviously mattered but it was always when she was lying... She's like tug speedman from tropic thunder she can't cry LOL

This case has hit quite close to home. I was in a similar toxic relationship for 5+ years. She was very attractive and men always paid attention to her. Behind closed doors however she was very toxic and abusive emotionally and physically. She drove me to addictive drugs and used my addiction as a crutch for me to stay with her. With the help of family I was able escape, but I can't imagine the pain of those who don't have the same help as me.
Camille is a shining light of an example we should set not just for women, but for human beings in general. It was a cathartic experience watching her expose Heard.

Thank you for this message. You are one of many thousands of men who felt this. Trust me, there are men who cried in private at the words of Camille. She represented something much greater than her small frame.

Sorry this happened to you. I know a bit of what it’s like. And very true! This was cathartic, as for some of us I don’t think it was Amber Heard that Ms. Camille interrogated on that stand.
But make no mistake, physical appearance doesn’t have to have a bearing on how people act. My ex was very much the same way to me: verbally, emotionally, financially, and eventually physically abusive. And she closely resembled a gorilla (yes that’s a self dig, too).

Arcturian Motives, Thank you for sharing your story. People need to understand that women can be just as toxic and abusive as men. I am so glad that Camille was the one who cross examined Heard, so Heard and her flying monkeys could not turn around and whine about some man "bullying" her on the witness stand.
It was a good thing that the key players in this drama were women - the judge, Elaine and Camille. That makes it very hard for people to try to play the "misogyny" card. Indeed, people who still side with Heard have made it clear they haven't watched the trial or reviewed the evidence. Their minds are made up, and they won't let facts get in the way of their belief systems. Heard's supporters as much as Heard herself have exposed the reality of toxic femininity.

It’s been a year and a half since we were divorced and to this day when we exchange the kids I cannot and will not look at her. I been diagnosed with PTSD and sever anxiety and depression. Watching this trial was very hard and had to turn it off on some parts when Amber was testifying because it was a trigger and had bad flashbacks. I can completely relate with Johnny because I was once married to one of these monsters and had everything I had taken and turned almost everyone I knew against me accusing me of horrible things.

Sorry can you explain this to me? I discovered law tube over the last couple of weeks, I've been watching the first names that came up when I searched for the Depp Heard case. I first went through Legal Bytes via Behavioural Arts, but I found her quite boring, then Rekeita Law, which I didnt really vibe with, then I finally settled on Emily D Baker, who I like a lot, and Runkle of the Bailey just has a silly name and silly hair so I didnt really give him a far chance if I'm honest 😅. They all seemed basically fine and unremarkable, and suddenly everyone started saying they're gone toxic and a bunch of drama seemed to kick off. What's the deal? Are those people reputable? And whats the drama that I apparently came just in time to catch, and yet somehow completely missed?

    • @B_Bodziak
      @B_Bodziak 2 года назад +7

I also don't get the impression that he's not solely interested in whatever those super chats are that I noticed on Legal Bytes. That channel has been taking in huge sums on each and every day one of the 23 day hearing, and the blonde woman often seems preoccupied with them, esp higher dollar amounts and will read and answer them during live testimony (it annoys me, but that's mho). I actually prefer the one lawyer format while testimony is happening b/c it cuts out on cross-talking over the court feed. I was so happy to come across That Umbrella Guy's live feed in the second week because he makes a point to not talk during testimony, but he's not a litigator and can't explain many things. Then, I found Emily Baker and LOVE HER!! She has courtroom litigation experience as a criminal defense attorney just like the attorney in this video, and I really like her sharing her experiences with jurors.

Certified Wound Nurse here: All her photos of injuries are inconsistent with the level of brutal attacks she claimed. Getting punched/or slapped once in the face can cause redness, abrasions and bruising. Getting slapped repeated, to the point you stop counting... that would cause extreme bruising, swelling to epidermal and damage to underlying dermal tissue. No amount of ice or makeup would be able to cover that up. Apparently, JD's team had a forensic pathologist that was going to testify to the photos. However, AH's team didn't call their witness that this expert was going to testify and refute. I would have been very interested to hear that expert witness's testimony on the photos. The photos are more in line with the type of bruising seen in botox injections than any slapping, punching or hitting. The evidence just isn't there and I hope the jury sees that too.

I think this whole thing has mesmerized so many people because, it is so far away from all the more important problems facing the world, and individuals.
Here we have two successful movies stars, admittedly addicted to substances, suing each other for astronomical amounts of money for the dysfunctional and brief marriage they both endured years ago.
It also shows how money, prestige, good looks, and the blessing of physical health, does not equal a contented and emotionally fulfilling life. It rips away the illusion of Hollywood glory, and in turn makes us all feel more satisfied with our own lives.

She has not only beat him into submission, but she has shamed him so deeply as a man, that it has taken years before he could speak of it to the public, and yet,
She is proud to tell the world how she “punched him square in the face”
I am a DV survivor, I could NEVER do such a thing I had such enormous fear of him everyday.
If I had he would have surely killed me. 😬 She did it because she knew she could punch him in the face and get away with it, she knew he would never hit her back…
The scene she described on the bed getting hit over and over again?
That’s what she did to him, the night of her birthday when she was so angry at him for being late, when he went to bed, she came over to him while he was lying in bed and viciously attacked him.

A part of him knew that he could endure much because he had the truth and righteousness on his side fully and he knew she couldnt endure what she deserved. It wasnt out of weakness or shame that he endured in silence for so long. It was literally the opposite in that he values truth and whats right, and knows that external bs can't damage his soul as a human because he never had to try and run n hide from his own subconscious which is exactly what turd has now caused herself. My husband does that just to calm me down when I'm emotionally invested to txt-gument LOL.. My husband, like JD is one of too many men who are kind enough to take the blame just to end a worthless argument. Except with JD, his wife wants him to bleed for life and left him with "nothing less of everything."

I came into this trial with no dog in the fight, I had only ever watched one JD movie and I had never watched anything of AH’s. So, no strong feelings for either side. After Friday, I came down firmly on one side…mainly because of the 31+ witnesses and the legal team’s skills in undermining every single allegation. But after the use of her assistant, Kate’s experience and then allegedly claiming it was her own was such a shock, which to me, spoke volumes about AH’s integrity (obviously her implausible testimonies in both the UK and this trial as well as the dire acting abilities) and her believeability) and that she would use anything or anyone to use as a stick to beat someone with (no pun intended nor do I mean any offence).
It was during the rebuttal by Ms Vasquez when AH claimed that she had been the recipient of a truly disgusting and disturbing vitriol on SM, namely that her baby should be put in a microwave? I realised that I had VERY recently heard that statement, which was during the recent libel trial between two UK footballer’s wives, The wife who was suing the other, came out with that exact statement on the last day or two of the trial! (R Vardy vs. C Rooney) and apart from the obvious disgust of that statement that one human being can “say” to another one, which was reported quite heavily in the UK media; but to hear that come out again and so soon after that trial, it led me to think that there is nothing that she wouldn’t use to try and score points.
I have now sat through most of the trial online and I hoped that I would remain neutral but I cannot do that any longer, because it just boils down to the fact that AH hasn’t produced any reliable sources of evidence nor has she been able to keep her stories straight whilst in the dock, and that she hasn’t done “anything” wrong, not lied about anything either but that ALL of the other sides witnesses are all lying just to protect one person who probably has only had a brief interaction with, and never thought that they would have to rely upon for evidence.
It’s a sad state of affairs all around and he isn’t an angel who gets off scott free but I now believe that he should win his defamation case.
I do have one question about all this: if everything that she has stated truthfully, then why on earth would she only be suing for defamation, and not in a criminal trial? I cannot fathom that one out, so please tell me? Thank you in advance.

    • @angiet6500
      @angiet6500 2 года назад +9

Unfortunately it's easier said than done, not everyone has the finances or back up to walk away from a toxic relationship. You need to have somewhere to go, people who will support you if you're not working and have no money to survive on as your abusive partner has never let you have any money of your own. You also need to have people to go to who are strong and won't back down by the abuse when he/she finds out where their partner has gone. Having a violent person banging on your door all day long or at night isn't a pleasant experience especially when the neighbours call the cops and the whole neighbourhood gets woken up. There are shelters people can go to for help but there are very few and many of them are full and can't taken in everyone that asks for help.
AH could have walked away at any minute as she had $$$millions in the bank but she didn't walk away as she was the abuser. Johnny didn't want to walk away because her and her freeloading friends were living in his penthouse apartments for years without paying a dime towards their rent, even Amber's sister I believe was one of them. It was only when Johnny saw the light and threw them all out that they popped up to give testimony about his abuse to AH because they were probably disgusted that their freeloading had come to an end and they were trying to get their own back on JD.

Nope, she didn’t pay any of the 6 million, it actually was her home owners insurance policy. In the US, homeowners insurance covers personal liability, which may include defamation suits.
The woman that is by Amber heard, but never talked WAS the insurance company representative.
The other issue for Amber Heard and her lawyer is the fact that they even mentioned the 6 million. When it was first mention, Camila objected immediately (I can’t remember what it is specifically called). Basically specific things were decided prior to the trial even starting that are not allowed under any circumstances to be mention, that is why Camila reacted to the lawyer mentioning the 6 million. It is a big deal to mention it at all.

I've really enjoyed your reaction to the closing arguments. If I were on the jury, I'm pretty sure I'd be awarding Johnny the full $50 million considering the work he lost due to her allegations. Amber proved nothing in my opinion. No police report in her favour, no hospital or doctor notes regarding injuries. She literally took photos all the time yet she has no real proof of a broken nose etc. Too much lies from her for my liking.

The amount of times the turd and her witnesses committed perjury, lost count, I don't have that many fingers and toes. But when it comes to evidence, what she had, there was so much that was duplicated. Johnny showed everything, the good, the bad and the ugly. He seemed more human. Yes, he's a great actor. We all know that. She, on the other hand, lied so much, never admitted to any mistakes, could not cry on the stand. Yes, she's an actress. But she sucks at it. My daughter when she was six could cry on command. I guess 100 million isn't as big of a deal as chow mein. Dang, if I was told to cry for 100 million, I'd ask for how long, did you want me to have the snotty nose? But that's just me, I guess.

One thing I wonder if the jury were taking notice of is how many WOMEN were in the court room in support of Johnny. Outside the court too. That is a huge level of support for a man accused of DV while Amber was portraying herself as an advocate for DV victims. The majority of the women who went on the stand testified in favour of Johnny too.

However, her rudeness and disrespectful shown to everyone in the court did not garner her a right to ramble on with non answers and gaslighting. She was making things up as she went along. I would not blame Elaine for the closing remarks blunder on Heard's side. Rottenborn used up well over an hour repeating long, drawn out nonsense. I never looked in the mirror. I was ugly, he told me so. Absolutely, I was not a Hollywood starlet. I had no idea how I looked. I got away from him when he pulled a knife on me. I got away when I buried his knife in a ,40 pound bag of dog food. The Operator was still on the line. We didn't have 911 then. But the Operator stayed on the line so I could tell them where I was when I got back to the phone. She waited on the line. So grateful! I might not be alive today. The police arrived and concluded I was mutually culpable. I was threatened with a knife but it was somehow my fault. I can't tell anyone how horrific this was. I was 22 years old....
