I find it impossible to believe that ALL of his security people would stay with Johnny all these years if he was beating on any woman. These guys are solid

Or they would not write a book or in moment would not stop it. Because if they got fired pretty sure a woman client would want a body guard that would step in against a guy abusing her.

I guess it is possible. They are loyal to who they serve. And men are loyal to each other. But having said that im on Johnny's side bec Amber is very unstable and lie a lot. Also if she accuses him of abuse, she should have not been abusive herself.

Yes. And to think most of these security guards have solid good reputation. One a long time 14 years in police service with no record at all (Sean), one a former US marines who testify. Like! These guys cannot in any way tolerate any abuse, both physical and verbal. I don’t think they can tolerate that. There’s no shortage of work for them. Many work is waiting for them.

So they had to get a psychologist who was less competent and who wouldn't question Amber on if part of the problem comes from her.
There is also the chance that her psychologist knowingly chose not to evaluate her fully and was the only person they could find that would risk their career. Although I don't know if doing that could pose issues in court.

I do not believe the quality of the lawyers can actually help here. Admittedly, AH's lawyers are NOT good. But I also think this would not matter. You could be the best lawyer in the world - if there is no evidence, and there is no case for your client, there is literally a point where there is nothing more you can do. You will just lose this case. As you said - this is a train wreck. But blaming her lawyers somehow says that AH could have won this, had she only had better lawyers. And this is not true. No matter who would have taken up her case - looking at all the evidence and testimonies, there is only one possible outcome.

I think that, on a bigger scale, this is a determining case in bringing awareness to the fact that men, too, can be - and have been - victims of abuse. And to give those men the encouragement they need to speak up, despite the 'shame' and stigma around it. I have read so many comments telling experiences of a relative, neighbor, etc. going as far as hurting herself and accusing the man.
On the other hand, she is greatly damaging women who are real victims of abuse. In many instances, said abuse is already hard to prove. And now, they can be accused of lying, or driving their partner nuts on purpose, or setting it all up. Because, well, some of them have. And, infamously she - has.
So, yeah, the face of dv. Of inflicting dv.

Both good points and I agree. I would also add that the outcome of the case could and should have a huge impact on people's perception of media and cancel culture. What I mean is when all this went down every media outlet in the world put amber up on a righteous pedestal and announced how brave she was for surviving the horrible abuse of that monster JD. They found him guilty in the court of public opinion and tried to ruin him. Now we look back and the poor guy is a kind and wonderful man who was the actual victim.
If he wins this case I think people will look at reporting in these situations VERY different going forward. I'm not arguing whether people should or shouldn't be cancelled, but maybe the media should do 2 min of research before drawing a conclusion and ruining a person's life.

Some of the best evidence was when they played the taped depositions of the police being asked questions by Heards own lawyer Elaine, she had them repeating over and over they saw zero evidence of any abuse or assault. When Elaine asked the female cop why she didn't give Heard a domestic violence pamphlet her answer was pretty clear she didn't see any reason to. Another thing that stood out was when Elaine was basically threatening the other cop with charges because he didn't take photos of nonexistant bruises on Heards face when she refused to cooperate at all after the 911 call.

I hope the jury gets it, such as, the credibilty of witnesses, etc. And as he says the lawyers should know the answers before asking, they should have researched it. But maybe that is there strategy. Having been on a jury, I can confirm Mr. River's statement about alienating the jury with the prolonged line of questions that don't seem to lead anywhere. After five or six questions, as a juror, you're just thinking "get to the point already."
Also, yeah, the pointless line of questioning that just gets candid and essentially meaningless answers does just serve to improve the perceived reliability of the witness.

As a psychiatric provider the easiest thing to look at to help form a diagnosis from other provider records is looking at the medication Amber was taking according to the nurses notes and The NP. They documented Amber was on Latuda, seroquel and Neurontin. This leads me to believe Amber is being treated for Bipolar disorder. Ambers woman attorney interchanged bipolar disorder with borderline personality disorder they are 2 different things. Latuda is an antipsychotic.

Incidentally, there's leaked audio of the night Amber threw the bottle and cut off the tip of Johnny's finger, where a Doctor talked about giving her 50mg of Seroquel to calm her down as she wailed about how sorry she was, how much she loved Johnny, how she couldn't lose him, and that she didn't mean to do it. It wasn’t Ambers woman attorney who interchanged bipolar disorder with Personality Disorder/HPD it was the clinical Pyschologist Dr. Curry hired by depps legal team to administer the Court Ordered IME and Dr Shannon Curry did so by administering a multitude of tests on AH which led her to her diagnosis. Ambers attorneys lie every step of the way & their hired expert Dr Diane Hughes was incredibly biased in her assessment and admittedly discounted everything and anything that did not bode well in Amber Heards favor. Here in the UK, court cases tend not to be televised so it has been fascinating to watch this one. AH's lawyers look like incompetent buffoons. Why are they bringing in evidence from a court case which took.place in a completely different country?
I have been watching AH give her testimony and her mouth says one thing but her body language tells us that she is lying. Her team are trying to get photographs submitted into evidence as well as asking leading questions which are answered with waffle. AH descibed a scene and told the jury that she cut her bare feet on broken glass and the picture that she took showed a couple of drinks cans on the floor, no spilled alcohol, no broken glass and no bloody footprints - she said someone must have cleaned it up..She described Johnny Depp's house in the Bahamas as a one room cabin and then proceeded to add extra rooms to it. Johnny's lawyers have been objecting constantly. It will be interesting to see how AH responds under cross examination.

I had never heard of her until the first day of the VA hearing when it popped up in my legal notifications. I've never watched any of his pirates movies and knew nothing of his private or professional life. I do think I saw Edward Scissorhands, but I can't be sure. I watched every day of testimony and was a little lost, initially. I was willing to give her the benefit of the doubt through Day One of her testimony, but Day Two left too many issues that didn't make sense. Shortly after listening to her second day, I came across her UK depo, where she is a COMPLETELY different persona. Then, I heard excerpts from the 5 hour tape in Australia that she referenced in her testimony. She admits to throwing the bottle that took crushed his finger. She says how sorry she is several times and begs to stay with him. It negates everything she said on the stand. I cannot buy anything she's said. He has already won in the eyes of the public and everyperson who works under a contract in H-wood needs to have it added to theirs that they will not do projects that she's involved in --- she should have a hard time getting extra work in Bollywood

When I first saw this video, I thought this entire examination improved JD’s image. The witness was likable, honest & made major Points for Depp! I couldn’t believe AH’s lawyers did this exam, Or the equally unsuccessful cross exam of AH’s assistant, Kate. Kate clearly hated AH, and loves JD. As Kate related the story of How sweetly JD treated her kid, and then Kate inserted damaging digs against AH Re. Her poor treatment of her sister & mother. I wanted to shout at Amber’s lawyer, whose side are you on? For God sake? It was another
    major win for JD.

If you get a chance, Watch the testimony of Isaac Barouch (the second day) He was a likable funny witness. He destroyed the defense attorney…. For the same reasons you mentioned in this video, asking questions she did not know the answer to. Oh boy! did she get an earful, And so did the jury !!!!

"Who do you think they are going to believe, Johnny?!" - Amber Heard
I feel the outcome of this trial hinges on the credibility of the plaintiff, the defendant, the witness' testimonies, and the evidence + how damages as a result of the Op- d can be proven. The deposition from the attorney from the ACLU was very enlightening.

Hello Mr Rivers, you were like a breath of fresh air to watch and listen to. I have been following this case from here in the U.K., and knew my instincts that Johnny Depp would never ever abuse a woman were right, and that Ms Heard was playing it for all she was worth ( which isn’t a lot in my considered opinion!). Having come out of.an abusive relationship with a female…Heard being the abuser and bisexual, I felt she just saw dollar signs in her eyes and made a beeline for Mr Depp, who sadly fell head over heels in love with her. Then the weirdness started a year i to the marriage, insisting she took his boots off when he came in, and pouring a large glass of wine straight away…the histrionics started if he dared to take his own boots off!!…..her friends all started moving into Johnny’s neighbouring Pent Houses he owned, and as you heard, married just 15 months she accrued $13m bills ( which he paid for her, as well as the $7 she promised to give to charity but lied saying she had, but kept for herself.!) She is a very nasty piece of work and he’s well rid of her, but she put him through sheer hell throughout. As well as serious damage to his career…..losing the 6th part as Jack Sparrow, which he made his own! Plus other work for Warner Bros, who he says he will never work for again. Strange how she was allowed to stay on filming Aquaman, but he was banned from making his! Karma I believe is a wonderful thing, and I think, no I pray! That her film does a belly flop in the water, and there is NO BOOKING for a part two! Karma would probably mean not many people will be going to watch it with her in it anyway!
Having seen and listened to you but briefly, I think your the type of lawyer I would want at my side if ever needed. You are fast thinking learned, don’t take prisoners or lies lightly! And read your brief really thoroughly so you know what your talking about and more!
l Look forward to hearing your comments during Ms Heards time in the witness box next! Which should prove very interesting!!!
Warm Regards, Helen C. In U.K.

Helen, your summary of AH actions when first with JD, are the exact same thing I have been thinking since beginning to watch. AMBER HEARD GROOMED JOHNNY DEPP the same way a pedophile grooms a child. She is evil to her core, IMO.

RE: UK trial...Although I did not follow thew Uk trial...it seems to me incomprehensible that JD lost that case....How did the SUN prove that their allegations of 'wife beating' were true??
