This video will focus on how to make a beat in garageband for beginners. I will cover everything you need to know with regard to making beats for all types of genres like rock, trap, hiphop, pop, singer songwriter. It doesn't matter because GarageBand can do it all with their intuitive drummer tracks and really great preset beats. We'll talk about about you can edit preset beats or start your own beat from scratch and what you need to know to get it sound good. For instance, what type of elements should a beat have and how you can quantize beats too. Let me know if you have any questions about making beats in garageband.

Since you ask, I would have two questions :-). Is it possible to change the beat in one same song? I mean if a part of the song is slower of faster... Also, it would be nice to know how to make a beat to end a song. Maybe an idea for a tutorial :-). I would sure watch it! You are such a good teacher!!!! Thanks again :-)

Hey I like your content and how you break it down and actually show how beats are made. I'm using garage band ios 15. I understand it's out dated but I still can use it for practice since I'm a beginner. I was wondering . I use the beat Sequencer to make my drum pattern but I have alot of questions regarding drum patterns and understanding them. I only make loops and don't even know it they sound good. I'm eventually going to switch to FL Studios but I am using garage band for practice. Could you help me get better at making hip hop drum patterns please 🙏. Is it rhe same concept with the beat sequencer.

Hey I was wondering if I can transfer some sounds from my maschine to garage band . I an using a I Pad for garage band.
Thanks for the How to. if a song starts with solo vocal 1st verse, 2nd verse drums and piano come in but it's not on the click. Sometimes live, a piano and drums follow tempo set by a conductor or vocalist. Is there a way to have the drum track come in and follow (sink) the piano or lead vocal tempo. Sort of like quantizing but auto sinking??? Thank you

If you want to open musical typing a quicker way is to hit command k on your keyboard

I’ve had my midi keyboard for two months now (AKAI MPK Mini) & when I play my keyboard, I can barely hear the notes/sound. But when I press the notes directly with my mouse on GarageBand it’s play so loud. How come my midi keyboard is playing so low? I still haven’t been able to figure this out 😖
