    You're my favorite pro because you teach one thing at a time and keep it simple. I hardly watch any other pros. Keep doing what you're doing.

    I practice this tip on the putting green, I drew a 3 inch line with whiteboard marker, and did and did what you said in the video: made 9-10 4-5 footers. So yesterday I played and used this technique, as you said I made almost 100% of my 4-5 footers for par and birdie. Gamsahamnida!!!

    I have been using this technique and my 4 and 6 footers makes have gone up by 95%. My average putts is between 28-30 per round. Such a simple thing can make such a difference. Concentrating on the first 3-4 inches helps take the pressure off. I now use this technique for 10-25 footer etc. (by hitting a certain spot on the break) Thanks Aimee.

    Her advice is the best. She's probably costing other golf teachers huge amounts of business. Great that she is absolutely fluent in English. Not that I understand, but she seems to be absolutely fluent in Korean as well.

    Best putting tip ever! What it has done is help me be more aggressive and given me confidence with putts from three to six feet. At first it felt awkward to take the putterhead back that much and follow through that much. I had been too tentative and depending on a bigger break. By hitting it firmer and not playing as much break help me to nail it confidently. The staring at the "three inch line" part helps you keep your head still.

    Biggest change for me with putting has been switching to putting side saddle. Never made sense to me to be putting without facing the hole.
    Can you imagine taking a shot in basketball and you have to take each shot NOT facing the basket?? Yet when most people putt they are putting sideways which leads to a bunch of alignment problems. Putting side-saddle has freed up my aim point and my mind.
    May want to try it.

  • @mydudeleakytiki3261
    @mydudeleakytiki3261 4 года назад +2

    Great video. Just a couple of questions. How do you feel about drawing a line on the ball and lining it up (along said line)? Second, I see you putt lead-hand high. Have you ever recommended lead-hand low? For me, the difference is night-and-day better, but it did take quite a while to get comfortable putting that way.
    One more ... at Upland Hills #11, if the hole is on the South portion of the green, especially if it's center or just below center, you have a putt that has excessive break, even on those four-footers. And if you're North-West of the hole, it can be extremely quick. How about doing a video putting something downhill with a ton of break?
    Thanks again!

    • @GolfWithAimee

      Hi Richard, I try to take the putter street back and it arcs naturally. Everybody’s feelings are different but I believe taking it straight back and letting the head arc naturally is the best way rather than trying to arc your putter head.
