    Germany completely overhauled its football philosophy, they started focusing on technical ability and proper player development. They now have a set style, which they can maintain constant regardless of names or formations

      Timo Werner, Thomas Muller (6 goals shy of all time world cup record behind his former teammate), and Sandro Wagner. Germany doesn't need multiple strikers. They control the pace of the pitch. Who needs 30 shots on goal when you maintain possession and dominate the middle third of the pitch. Oh you got by our midfield, get slammed with some of the best defenders in the world. Oh you got past them, once Manu is back up and running you now have to face down one of the GOAT keepers.

    • @Nazdreg1
      @Nazdreg1 6 лет назад

      Friendly games don't count. First of all, they played basically with a back up team that wasn't really experienced in playing together, they had quite a bad day (Leroy Sane was one of the worst btw) and then they lost 0:1, big deal. One week before, they tied Spain which was really strong and they should have won that game nevertheless.
      But most importantly, friendly games are opportunities to try out new ideas without the risk of being thrown out of an important tournament. Germany traditionally is a "Turniermannschaft" (a team that tends to perform to the best of their abilities when it comes to the important games in a tournament as opposed to friendly games or a few qualification games where defeats don't really hurt).
      Of course, there are several contenders for the world Cup trophy on a similar level, so it might very well happen that Germany won't win, but they certainly have the capability and they will be prepared, so it will be necessary that a top class Team has a perfect day and a perfect game to beat them. This is entirely possible though. Even 2014 they had tofight serious battles against Algeria, France and of course Argentina. Each of those games could have gone the other way as well. Not the game against Brazil though... :P

    • @Nazdreg1
      @Nazdreg1 6 лет назад

      Lol, if you say so... Apparently you have a more qualified opinion than I have with the massive references that you have provided...
      We will see what happens.

    • @Nazdreg1
      @Nazdreg1 6 лет назад +2

      Hm, I would disagree about the 85%. The offensive midfield (Draxler central, goretzka right, Sane left) was a very experimental combination that never played together in this way, so the first 2/11 weren't belonging to the core team (Sané counts but he performed abysmally bad) and the experiment went wrong (or at least the final result was not a success, what Löw wanted to try out and thus what result was achieved for him is his own secret). Hence the missed shots. Gomez was left alone and couldnt do shit on his own other than annoying the Brazil defence.
      The defensive midfield was part od the core team, thats true, Rüdiger and Plattenhardt in the defence howevere weren't. So we are at 4/11 backup players. And Kevin Trapp is our 3rd keeper. Normally, he is pretty good, but the goal.... yeah. He didn't look all that amazing there.
      I don't know how you handle things in Brazil, but in Germany it is tradition to use friendly games for experiments. That doesn't mean that the individual players don't try their best, but Football is a team sport and you can't grow together as a team from 0 to 100% so you need time, training and games, sometimes the players need to be rested for their clubs and you also need to train your backup team and give them practice games. Yes, friendly games count against the Team rankings but to be honest, they can't be taken seriously (Belgium and Switzerland over France and Spain? The latter, rather recent title winners and the former good Teams but never won anything even remotely). World Cups and Copa Americas/European Championships are what matters.
      So you can't judge the Quality of a Team by one friendly game. The games before that, Germany tied Spain, England and France, all serious opponents belonging to the favourite group as Brazil does. And as you say, last 23 games were unbeaten. So you use that one loss as Basis for your judgement? I call that bias.

      international players are just way too expensive for the Bundesliga. Only Bayern Munich and maybe BVB are able to compete financially with other leagues. over 200 Mio. for naymar, over 100 Mio for Dembele...just ridiculous

    • @sgtdan5853
      @sgtdan5853 6 лет назад

      Christopher Kupetz he’s actually right, he just didn’t explain it right. Basically he is saying that since the bundesliga teams except for Bayern and Dortmund can compete financially for world class players against other teams, that means that the bundesliga teams have to focus on training their youth which happens to be mostly German players.

    What!?! The real reason Germany won the world cup was because the German national team had more chemistry than any other country by having the players on the national team be all from the same club (Bayern Munich). Practicing with your teammates during club and national play will make any national team win.
    This is also why Spain won by having most of their players be from Barcelona.

    The "Die" in Die Mannschaft is spoken as "Dee" for those of you who are English natives. The combination means "The Team". You can also call them "Die Nationalmannschaft" meaning: The National Team. Everyone will know that the the national soccer team is meant and not a Volleyball, Handball or another team. 😃

    We have so much good young promising rbs. Kimmich, weiser, passlack, Henrichs, toljan and so much midfielders with goretzka, Emre can, Weigl, gündogan, Kroos and Khedira. It's disgusting. Also to the striker problem: we have stindl, werner, Kruse and Wagner. they are maybe no griezmann or dybala, but they get the job done. Imo we have a pretty good team. (Hopefully without Özil. He never played that well for the Nationalteam and with Reus, but he is always fucking injured)

      +Burnt Chicken Nugg Overall, I think Germany has actually gotten better since 2014, with so many talented youngsters from the Confederations Cup/U-21 squads starting to get a chance in the national team, most of whom weren't at that level in 2014 yet. Also, although Germany has lost some absolutely world class stars from 2014, most notably Schweinsteiger and Lahm, the majority of that squad is now in the prime age of their careers (27-30). They also have more options in the striker position now, with Timo Werner scoring a lot and others like Wagner, Gomez, and Volland looking good recently. On an individual basis, I don't think Germany's starters are significantly better now than they were in 2014 (mainly because they're mostly the same players), but I do think they have more depth now (if that is even possible).

    In every decade, they have always appeared or won the euro or world cup final.

    • @TheLordoftheRavens
      @TheLordoftheRavens 6 лет назад

      They've made it to 16 consecutive World Cup quarterfinals. They've been in more World Cup semifinals and finals than any other nation. Even in the early 2000's, which many people see as a low point for the German national team, they still made it to the final of the 2002 World Cup. They've also been more successful at the Euros than any other team, winning the tournament as often as Spain but making it to more finals. So yes, they've been a powerhouse for decades now.

      Marcellus Augustus Germanicus because Teams that win the champions league usually have the best players from several countries play together everyday in training, whereas the Germany squad plays every 2 months or so. They wouldn't even be better than most mediocre Bundesliga or la Liga sides, maybe even a lot worse, as they don't have the same experience and Level of training as a Team. That's why International Football will never be as good as Club football. Plus it's why Germany won the world Cup 2014, as half of their starting eleven played together at Bayern.

    Arsenal fans couldn't stop taking about how they beat byern in a friendly, on penalties. But we just beat them 3-0, and I bet they will all say it was just a friendly.

      Harry Stocker I'm not an Arsenal fan but it was just a friendly let's see how Milan do in Serie A first and not praise them for winning one FRIENDLY game

    Great video. Just make sure you get your German names pronounced right. For example, the "ch" in Kimmich is not the same as in English "chair". See how it needs to be pronounced: forvo.com/word/joshua_kimmich/

    00:09min, "DIE Mannschaft" - nobody is dying guys 😂. Yes, it's spelled "die" but it's pronounced just like the letter "D" in English. Not like the word "die" in English.

      They lost in the semifinals in a close match against a strong France team. I don't really see a problem here that would suggest that they aren't still a force in international football.

      Marco Peretto want to know why? Cuz Germany reached the semi final stage as always which wasn’t a surprise anymore. Plus, the so called great team that beat Germany in the semi couldn’t even win a damn thing in front of millions of their own fans in their own backyard. That’s why!! FYI.

      France becoming a shithole country is the only Thing sad here. paris Looks like North africa and so does their Football Team. one of the cradles of western civilization getting sacrificed to the leftist doctrine of swamping europe with immigrants.. for whatever reason. that's why we can't have nice trings.

      writing that comment costs me all of 30s of my life and making good Points and criticising dangerous developments is still allowed where I'm from. I'm sure the sjw gestapo will make a law against that very soon but for now I can Point out the obvious if I want to. there is no reason why europe Needs to be flooded by These People. europe is where europeans live. turning europe into a diverse cesspool is unnessessary, not wanted by the silent majority and it brings crime, overpopulation, higher rent and hous prized, it strains the social Systems and it destoyes the european identity and populations for all times to come. it's the biggest ethnic Engineering genocide (correct use of the word genocide, look it up) in modern history. what a clust fuck and all in the Name of "please don't call me a racist if I don't want that". thankfully you already called me a racist. that word has no meaning anymore since People like you use it as an inflationary Insult whenever you don't agree with someone. People like you are usually younger than 25 and with no idea about life or history. you will see one day why you are wrong. when you get mugged, raped if you are female or don't get a Job or University place because you are White. or simply wait when Immigrant, mostly muslims, become the majority of the Population in the 25-35 age category in the next 15-20 years. lets see how much you like that. middle eastern/North african People bring their religion, politics and other Problems with them. you will see. europe is doomed forever. nothing can turn back the clock. this ethnic Experiment is permanent and europe will never be the same.

      Mar karma was always going to come back around, plenty of nations in Europe invaded all over the world killing and converting. Now euro governments are allowing the reverse and not doing much about it. Unlike the USA for example, who are taking steps on the situation. Reguardless your ancestors invaded back in the day with force. Now those people are fleeing and entering your homelands in force. Life flows like water. There is nothing you can do about it but bitch about it. So why not just stop bitching.
      If governments are allowing it to happen. What on earth do you think you can do bout it. Lol one man. Just move on...live your life.
