It's not about how much he spends its about he who he spends it on an how he utilises the players and fits players in when they're injured e.g Delph. Pep has not only built a current day super team but also a team for the future.

Not a City fan at all here but I don't get all the "he bought the league" or "he spent xxx amount, of course he won the league".
He had an aged squad and had to get younger players in positions. Was this supposed to be free? He still has youth developing on loan coming from the academy but with a name like Pep and ambitious owners like City's you need to improve season on season. So yeah he spent 500million, on the back line but the squad is young which means less and less big transfers in the coming years. Plus he has created insane value in his current players (KDB, Sane, Sterling, Jesus) if City moved these players I am sure the team would Net a profit.

Anyone who believes that money guarantee success is ignorant to the challenges of competition in the highest level. Money can facilitate transitions for clubs looking to invest in a different philosophy/program. Pep is a man with a vision and Man City is a club with the funds and desire to fund them. How many clubs are you talking when saying Spanish clubs? I don't see any other Spanish club other than Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid to be in the level of BPL clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid obviously being the strongest of all. BPL is tough, always has been, and La Liga is just not competitive as compared to BPL. I bet the Spanish clubs would have a difficult time competing in BPL, ofcourse except Barcelona and Real Madrid, on the other hand, maximum of the top 10 BPL clubs would always end up top 10 in La Liga. To prove my point, this year's UCL has 5 BPL teams in the round of 16, the maximum number of teams from any other league, and for a record, they are all doing really well. La Liga manages to provide just 3, out of which I'm expecting Seville to lose by the hands of a BPL club, and thereby remaining just 2 ahead for quarters. And at least 4 BPL clubs to still compete ahead. I hope Chelsea win against Barcelona to make it still 5 BPL clubs.

I too was one of those people that said that he would be found out by the Premier League, however, when you watch how he plays against teams its awe inspiring. His team suffocates the life out you; they make you feel worthless and old. This isn't the same as just buying good players, the way they play is better too. close ... yes the fullbacks were a big part of adding some stength and speed down the flanks... but I also think the way Man City make the pitch so big with Sterling and Sane basically sitting on the touch line this gives the likes of SIlva and KDB alot more room... you will also notice these two always stay close to each other in defensive transitions so that when the ball is won back its immediately provided to one of them to then play a ball out wide... this has made them so deadly on the counter.

Minha formação é muito parecida, os dois extremos tem mais de uma posição, apoiam o ataque, ou a defesa, os meias são 2 MC, 1 DMC ou AMC, dependendo do jogo, e 2 ST. Se o adversário tiver muitos jogadores nas laterais eu coloco os meus extremos do meio campo pra trás e avanço os MC, caso o adversário tenha muitos jogadores pelo centro eu avanço os laterais para um pouco afrente do meio.
O cara que usa muitos jogadores nas laterais, é quase certeza que usa ataque pelos flancos, basta só observar um pouco e notará.
