I've done a lot of driving in a 4jj3 dmax with a dpx chip and it's been great, tows beautifully, hunts for gears less. Nice product guys, nice to see you are sticking with a safe power/torque gain unlike so many other outfits pushing too much torque through the drivetrain. I'm sure that gearbox life will be cut very short in that case.

How was fuel consumption?
currently 9l/100km
If on a new Dmax/BT50 how early in the milage is it ok to fit one of these, should I wait for the motor to fully bed in or direct from the showroom ok?

Hello, I’m from Boise Idaho USA and I have an 83 2.2 Toyota L diesel with 225k kilometer on the dash. Would turboing it being and easy project and how much boost/fuel would you recommend to make it just a little more powerful? Also would I have to do anything to the Injection pump? Thank you for your time, it’s hard to find answers about these engines here in American bc they were supposed to be here

Hey mate I have recently turbocharged a 1hz and the stock waste gate on the turbo is set to 20psi, although the engine is running cool what boost do you recommend running

My question was what were the before and after torque figures. Offroad its not power that helps its that torque hahaha

Yep thats correct. Every vehcile differs just because it does by itself or tyres etc all add to the changes
What were the AFR values before and after the chip?

I've got a 2014 dmax I'd like to install a larger turbo and 30% bigger injector tips then a tune. What do you recommend and how much power would I expect to see.
Hi mate. Its a Diesel so no need for Petrol thoughts around DIesel injectors. Diesel injectors well big enough.

Experience has proven Economy is like a string. How long is it. Whilst there is usually a positive outcome around economy it can always vary

Hi I just received my do chip x for my 2020 (new model) Dmax and it has a boost plug?? The one in the video doesn’t ? Can this still be fitted ?
Hi yep it can. That needs connecting to the boost plug on th einlet pipe area.
Honestly the x terrain is a much better car than a n80 hilux
