@@ShadowWizard I don't agree, I think The Last of Us Part 2 is so misunderstood by bandwagonners. And it will fit better for a tv show than on gaming tbh
When she entered the neighbours house, i was like "THIS WAS NOT PART OF THE GAME". even knowing what happens in general from the game, they still managed to create a beginning that was sooo anxiety inducing and heartbreaking. Also, the show was mostly shot in my city, and i recognise a little bit, like when she was traveling on the city bus! It's so good to watch your guys' reactions to this. You all get so into it!
Watched it last night with my mom and she looks to me after the Sarah scene with tears streaming down her face asking "you knew that was coming didn't you? Just like the red wedding, you knew?" I mean 🤷♀️ lol I felt so cruel but now she knows why it is soooo amazing and gut wrenching when it makes you feel like that within 30+ minutes. I'm excited to see the rest of the season!
i went into this knowing nothing and the opening scene gave me CHILLS. when he said “if the earth were to get a little bit warmer?” i swear my arm hairs were standing up. and sarah’s death had me weeping, oh man. very much looking forward to seeing more.
It was everything I'd hoped for! They really did a good job at staying loyal to the game, but still adding stuff that explained the world more or person and changing it a bit here and there, but not as much that it was different from the original. It gave me goosebumps to hear the lovely music by Gustavo again. Just amazing!
I love that diamond was the only one who knew it was coming and it still hit him as much as everyone that's how you know it's a legendary adaptation of the game
Their ability to stay faithful to the source material while at the same time making small changes and fleshing out characters more than what we see in the games is top shelf
Ahh I loved you guy's reaction. Love the genuine excitement from Dave when he mouthed "You have no idea." to us made me smile. As a hardcore fan of the game I thought everything was really well done, the way the added more details here and there that wasn't in the game made the characters have more depth, I appreciated them. AlsonI agree on what you guys said about them setting up for things to happen, it is indeed nerve wrecking, but in the best way haha. Keeps you engaged.
was so happy when i heard the theme and they kept the game music throughout the show. beautiful tracks. not to mention they kept the shot from 'your' (sarah's) perspective in the truck which really pulled me right back to when i played the game for the first time
yess agreed, the music was an important part of the game and i'm glad they had the same tracks playing throughout the episode. The truck scene from Sara's pov was really well done for real.
Episode 1 was bitter sweet because I knew Sarah's outcome 😭. But I'm glad to see they gave her more screen time in the show. Still cried when she died. Overall I'm loving the show, it's like replaying the game all over again. The extra scenes that have been added are fantastic. Diamond Dave is how I was feeling the whole episode lol. Glad The Oak & Mason are enjoying and excited to dive into the series.
I like that you guys appreciate them grabbing the gear, not only is it a logical thing to do, scavenging tools and supplies for crafting is a huge part of the game so including the importance of resources is another reason it feels faithful to the game
I just want to add that I love what they did with Robert, because he’s basically a boss you have to deal with after you meander about trying to find him. The way they handled him in the show was a nice quick situation that got to the point And still got you to meet Marlene for the handoff. I honestly love how they didn’t waste time with Robert to drag out the story for the show.
I liked that part of the game. It shows the life Joel and Tess are leading: ruthless, brutal criminals in a world full of poverty, danger, oppression and hopelessness. It also is of course kind of a tutorial for the game mechanics.
The prologue that fleshed out Sarah' day a bit more was awesome to build up the needed rapport with her, since you don't get to play as her like you do in the game. Also Nico Parker who portrayed Sarah did a freaking amazing job!
never thought i would see a game adaptation like this, its absolutely unreal, its so good , i cried at Sarahs death in the game but i cried more here, this is just soooo well done... btw Mr. Quinn already knew it was a Depeche Mode 80s song... first reactor on this show i watched catched it .. respect
omgg i was waiting for this! i think this is going to be the best videogame adaptation everr. Amazing pilot, amazing cast, amazing soundtrack. cried with Sarah's death even tho i knew it was coming
It's funny that you mentioned 'The Road'. Niel Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us, explicitly stated that it was a huge inspiration for the story.
Thank you Diamond Dave for not spoiling!!! I know that was so hard for you! My husband and I are so excited but we've never played the game. I thought the pilot was amazing. So stoked for the next episode. 👍 Although you could tell by Dave's facial expressions it was so hard to not say anything. 😏🤣
As a big fan of the first game this is an incredibly strong start to the show. Pedro Pascal is perfect as Joel, the sets and costumes are top notch, music is amazing. Definitely eager to see the rest. Really like the parallel you made with The Road in the discussion, one of my favourite movies. Also that scene with the grandma in the background, jesus CHRIST
From one gamer to another. Dave, I feel your pain. But it was also awesome seeing you try to hold it in, lol!! I really love how they incorporated the setting, it was just like the game, so awesome!!!
I’ve played part 1 and 2 several times and have watched SO many playthroughs on YT. I’m slightly obsessed with this game and it’s characters. I was SOOOOOO impressed with the WHOLE first episode. The things that they switched up from the game, I really enjoyed and the switch ups made sense. The things that they kept in from the game were executed flawlessly. This is going to be an AMAZING show!!❤️❤️
The plane crash addition is brilliant. I was thinking about how many plane crashes there would’ve been on outbreak day in the game. There were lots of little surprises that were really delightful to watch. I’m really looking forward to seeing more of Joel, Tess, and Ellie and their dynamics next week!!
I played part 1,2 and it had amazing storylines. I watched episode 1 last night and rewatched it this morning and it was an absolute masterpiece. I’m currently listening to the last of us podcast on Spotify. I can’t wait for the weeks ahead.

oh hell yes!! i didn't think we'd get a reaction up so soon!!! i totally feel diamond dave struggling not to spoil anything lmao, i had to yell while watching this first episode 😂 love that they pretty much took scenes straight from the game, but the parts they adapted for the TV were also done amazingly imo, so really looking forward to the rest of it! if they can keep up this quality i'll be amazed, but this gives me hope!
Dave is so excited. 😂😂😂 I remember this being on one of those top ten RUclips compilation vids and just how viral it was. I wonder if there's a remastered version of the game.
I was geeking out! They did a really good job I was so anxious on how they would do this series I am a big fan of the video game series shot for shot they did phenomenal! The Sara, Tommy and Joel part really got me again. 😭
They really really nailed the vibe and aesthetic btw, I also I appreciate them working so closely with the game creators and even keeping the composer etc
Loved the game and I loved this episode. I felt like I was playing the game again with the scene in the car, it was such a crazy feeling not having a controller in my hands and just watching it. I’m excited to see where the series goes!
AS one that played the game, I was anxious during the whole episode especially the first half. I know what's about to go down and yet they did surprise me here and there. Changing some scenes but still reaching the same conclusion. I am eager to tune in every week to watch the episode first and then watch you guys
This show is prolly the most emotional roller coaster I’ve ever felt in just a single season. I hate being attached to such a show and then have to wait 2 years for a whole another season 😂😂
Saw many react vids and yours was really cool. Love how there is one dude who played the games and 2 who didn't. Love that. I'm subbed now. I'm a massive fan of the game and I was so impressed with how they've made this. Just a 10/10 for me. I loved it. I'm actually so glad they've made little changes. It makes it feel fresh. I'm so damned excited to see more. Bella as Ellie did so well, I was worried in the past, but not anymore. She killed it. Great react. Look forward to the next one guys.
as a The Last of Us superfan, I was SO happy and impressed with this first episode. they somehow were able to capture perfectly the storybeats of the game while seamlessly expanding on the world. incredible. Looking forward to watching the rest of your reactions! (I'll also be uploading mine as soon as I finish editing it hehe)
What a perfect adaption so far. Pedro and Bella are amazing and it looks 100% like the world of the game and it doesnt look slapped together either. Super faithful. I'm beyond stoked about this
I was slightly skeptical but they did this really well! I started balling for the Sarah scene. Even tho I’ve seen it countless times in the game. I think they did it rly well, and it adds more lore/detail for those of us that played the games. But it also flows well for those that have not. To put simply, I was nervous at first cuz it’s hard to trust a video game adaptation, but after this episode I’m super excited for the rest of this!
They did a fantastic job bringing this game to TV, IMO! I know some were doubting it’d turn out right, but I knew with HBO taking control it’d be done well and this is a stupendous pilot! The actress for Marlene was the voice actress for the same character in the game, by the way. I am SO excited to see how they do the rest. I regularly watch full playthroughs of “The Last of Us” and “Detroit: Become Human” like it’s a movie. If they ever bring the game, “Detroit: Become Human” to TV I hope that HBO would be the studio working on it.
Massive fan of your reactions. So glad yous covered this show. The Sarah piece at the start of the game is emotional enough but what they did with the TV show getting you attached to the character and then for it to play out the way it did was just so much better then the game and even more emotional. Look forward to the next one gents 👌
Always a pleasure 👍 That 1968 piece at the start was definitely aimed for the non gamers on this, can't wait for episode 2 🤞 For clickers in this next episode
This is very exciting my favorite reaction channel getting to experience the beautiful story of Last of Us completely blind for the first time. Wish I could experience that again. Excited to see your guys journey. It started off great
I've played both games and LOVED them. This is the best video game adaptation I've ever seen. I'm excited for everyone who hasn't played the games to experience this story. The whole lead up to Sarah's death was SPOT ON, so many references to the video game and the differences were well done.
The way Diamond Dave was just silently losing his shit was EXACTLY how I was watching this the first time with my dad who's never played the game or seen anything to do with it. It's one of my all-time favorite games, I've played it so many times, and this adaptation blew me away. Every time I watch a reaction of it I get the same feelings. SO damn good!!
As someone who is a fan of the game, no complaints of this episode whatsoever. It has me so amped for the rest of the season! Also, looking forward to upcoming reactions and see what you guys continue to think. I agree, waiting a week will be brutal. 😆
That part in the car when they almost got T-boned is what caused the car to flip over in the video game, but in this show it was the plane crash that caused it. I really love how they make the show fun for both gamers and newcomers, they really nailed the balance and i hope they'll continue this trend in the later episodes.
I was a bit dubious at first about some of the casting choices but all those misgivings were blown out of the water after 10 minutes into the episode. I was totally floored by how well this show represents and honors the story from the game. I give it a 10+ out of 10 rating. I have played both video games through more than once so I was surprised that this show is just as emotionally moving as they are... maybe even more moving. Love it and can't wait for more!!! 😍🤩😍
The writing on this show is incredibly strong. They reveal key details, constantly, but nothing's obvious until they're made obvious. The Depeche Mode song at the end of the episode has to mean that Bill and Frank, the people who are outside the QZ that Joel and Tess smuggle items with, are in danger. I'm waiting anxiously, now, to learn what's happening at Bill and Frank's. Because of how strong the writing is, I know the characters are eventually going to head that way, one of the episodes, and the foreshadowing at the end of episode 1 is going to be paid off.
After playing the games and watching the episode last night I thought it was a masterpiece and perfect adaption of the game to show. It shows stuff that's only mentioned in the game and fills in more detail that makes it more heartbreaking
Not even 20 minutes in and I'm already completely invested and fighting back my emotions, and I already knew what was going to happen... If this will be anything like the roller coaster masterpiece that is the game, this is going to be one heck of a ride.
I’ve never play the video games, but even as that may be, I still think that was a fantastic episode for a TV show. Had me on the edge of my seat most of the episode.
They did the video game justice in my opinion. The first episode gives subtle hints on how it spread quickly before all bell breaks out. The details are amazing! I’m excited for the this series!
Loved seeing you guys react to this, it was literally shot for shot in most cases to the game. As a lover of the series I look forward to seeing what I know get shown to you for the first time, its awesome to see this from fresh eyes
Excellent first episode, love the new additions to the world to flesh it out more since you can't just read about it like in the game. I will say one small gripe is how fast Ellie glossed over that she was bitten 3 weeks ago in those final moments, but perhaps they'll pick that up in episode 2 with a more lengthy questioning since they had to run away from the military, so I'm not too hard on it just yet
Yeah I was kinda skeptical on that as well, that was a key moment in the game focused on for a good while before they moved on and it did seem a bit rushed there.
My Favorite thing is how well all the actors actually fit the game characters, they are doing amazing, dude literally sounds like Tommy its crazy lol. Also that they got the Voice actor for Marleen to reprise her role in the show is pretty cool too.
Sooo glad you guys are reacting to this. Your expressions and enthusiasm was priceless, Dave. Got me even more excited! ❤ Also, not sure if it’s relevant, but the 1968 reference at the beginning might have also been a callback to George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, the story/movie that started it all, zombie style, in 1968!!! 🤘🏼
Fun fact: on the TV we hear something happening in Jakarta. Jakarta is home to the biggest mill factory which makes 4 million tons of flour a year... Sarah and Joel are out of flour for the pancakes, then they decline to eat the neighbors biscuits, later Sarah doesn't eat the cookies cause she finds out they have raisins and not chocolate chips... and finally JOEL FORGOT THE CAKE! The fungus was in the Flour! And they could have been infected if they ate any one of those things during the day... That’s why so many are infected seeming instantly rather than a infection traveling by boat/plane. While they give a time table for how long it takes to change from a bite I imagine eating the fungi may take longer to have the fungus take over. Like we see the kid in class twitching his wrist.
As a extremely huge Last of Us who absolutely loves both games Part 1 and 2 loved every moment of the pilot there is some changes made but at least they stick as most to the game material as possible which is great.
I love that they show that the main characters could’ve been infected through flour before the outbreak since that’s the main carrier! No mix for pancakes, Joel says no to the neighbors biscuits, the daughter avoids the neighbors cookies and Joel forgets to bring home a cake. They survived by luck just long enough to get knowledge about the infections!
I loved this the iconic lines in the games referenced in this. I still broke down at that certain scene even tho I knew It was coming. I hope they never cancel this and just keep it going and going.
I’ve played over 10 times. This adaptation is brilliant! This game has changed my entire life. I’m happy this story is being shared with the public. I’m excited to see Neil in heaven lol. That guy is a fuggin Angel❤️❤️
I loved it. I knew what was gonna happen and it still gave me the shivers. I loved that there were lots of scenes from the game that were almost identical, probably the first time that that has properly happened on an adaptation, and the clickers give me the creeps.
As a gamer it feels strange watching while pretty much knowing everything thats going to happen so i actually really enjoyed the scenes that weren't in the game!
This is great to see a group where you have someone familiar with the story and others who are not! Dave is doing a great job keeping quiet on certain reveals!
The whole death scene with Sarah hits so hard. I’ve also noticed that certain reactors that I follow and know have kids of their own, it explains why this hits so hard. You see that and then imagine it being your own kids makes it all the harder to absorb. Also Pedro and Nico nailed that opening.
I really liked all the scenes they added and how they changed the scenes. The only scene I missed was when Joel and Tess caught Robert. I loved the brutality in that scene. It told us a lot about Joel and Tess as characters.
I personally think the changes made post-Sarah are stupid and don’t enhance the story whatsoever. I can’t say it here for people who’ve never played the games but yeah I can tell this is gonna change some shit that’s gonna piss off game lovers
@@Eon233 I'm not sure what folks would be pissed off about, Joel clearly still has his brutal side, the show just chose to hold some of it back so that Joel's moment of violence would speak more instead of us being desensitized to it.
@@CaptainPikeachu one of the points is like when the post credit discussion is saying that Ellie liked Joel’s violence compared to Sarah? It’s creepy stuff. That’s just one of many things I’m seeing that’s just wrong or had no reason to be changed
@@Eon233 I won’t go into things that will happen, might spoil the story for some. But the change with Tommy is going to change things. They removed a lot of Tess brutality (and Joel). But I guess they don’t want to scare us and will ramp it up as the story goes on.

Their ability to stay faithful to the source material while at the same time making small changes and fleshing out characters more than what we see in the games is top shelf
I hoping they keep up with the source material as they did in the pilot
Ahh I loved you guy's reaction. Love the genuine excitement from Dave when he mouthed "You have no idea." to us made me smile. As a hardcore fan of the game I thought everything was really well done, the way the added more details here and there that wasn't in the game made the characters have more depth, I appreciated them. AlsonI agree on what you guys said about them setting up for things to happen, it is indeed nerve wrecking, but in the best way haha. Keeps you engaged.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Dave's reactions and his excitement is killing me LMAO LOVING IT
🤜🤛
24:20 HAHAHA trying so hard not to smirk once the boys caught on to what's so special about Ellie lol.
was so happy when i heard the theme and they kept the game music throughout the show. beautiful tracks. not to mention they kept the shot from 'your' (sarah's) perspective in the truck which really pulled me right back to when i played the game for the first time
yess agreed, the music was an important part of the game and i'm glad they had the same tracks playing throughout the episode.
Definitely gave her enough screen time for her acting capabilities to show. The girl has a promising career ahead of her 👌
I love that the first shot (after the 1968 introduction) is the bedroom window curtain, because it's the opening screen when you fire up the game.
I like that you guys appreciate them grabbing the gear, not only is it a logical thing to do, scavenging tools and supplies for crafting is a huge part of the game so including the importance of resources is another reason it feels faithful to the game
🤜🤛
I just want to add that I love what they did with Robert, because he’s basically a boss you have to deal with after you meander about trying to find him. The way they handled him in the show was a nice quick situation that got to the point And still got you to meet Marlene for the handoff. I honestly love how they didn’t waste time with Robert to drag out the story for the show.
I didn't mind it either. 🤙 😁
I liked that part of the game. It shows the life Joel and Tess are leading: ruthless, brutal criminals in a world full of poverty, danger, oppression and hopelessness. It also is of course kind of a tutorial for the game mechanics.
I'm fine with it, i wish they would have done like a short scene of it but probably they didn't have time for that
Would have been fun to see Jerome Flynn appear as Robert tho for just a sec. He was the base for the face model
The prologue that fleshed out Sarah' day a bit more was awesome to build up the needed rapport with her, since you don't get to play as her like you do in the game. Also Nico Parker who portrayed Sarah did a freaking amazing job!
One fantastic touch is the voice actor for Marlene in the game is reprising her role in the live adaptation as well. She knocked it out of the park
never thought i would see a game adaptation like this, its absolutely unreal, its so good , i cried at Sarahs death in the game but i cried more here, this is just soooo well done... btw Mr. Quinn already knew it was a Depeche Mode 80s song... first reactor on this show i watched catched it .. respect
She brought Sarah to life FR I cried all over again!!
omgg i was waiting for this! i think this is going to be the best videogame adaptation everr. Amazing pilot, amazing cast, amazing soundtrack. cried with Sarah's death even tho i knew it was coming
Always tough to see it!
It's funny that you mentioned 'The Road'. Niel Druckmann, the director of The Last of Us, explicitly stated that it was a huge inspiration for the story.
😁😁😁🤜🤛
It's amazing how Gabriel Luna sounds just like the voice actor for Tommy in the game.
It's dang near perfect
Thank you Diamond Dave for not spoiling!!! I know that was so hard for you! My husband and I are so excited but we've never played the game. I thought the pilot was amazing. So stoked for the next episode. 👍
Although you could tell by Dave's facial expressions it was so hard to not say anything. 😏🤣
Haha glad you and your hubby enjoyed the show. I'll be locked in moving forward now that the pilot is out of the way and awesome! 🤘🤘
This is going to be an AMAZING show!!❤️❤️
Can't wait for episode 2
The plane crash addition is brilliant. I was thinking about how many plane crashes there would’ve been on outbreak day in the game. There were lots of little surprises that were really delightful to watch. I’m really looking forward to seeing more of Joel, Tess, and Ellie and their dynamics next week!!
Really liked the tease of the truck getting hit by the other vehicle and then it's actually the plane. 👏👏👏
I wonder if they did that intentionally as a certain someone later had a dream that they crashed the plane they tried to pilot
I cant wait for Bill, Nick Offerman is perfect casting!
I played part 1,2 and it had amazing storylines. I watched episode 1 last night and rewatched it this morning and it was an absolute masterpiece. I’m currently listening to the last of us podcast on Spotify. I can’t wait for the weeks ahead.
Very well done!
Part 2 story sucked
@@teishhere’s this thing called subjectivity idk it’s a concept we learned as kids. Just because YOU hated something, doesn’t mean it negates the fact that people are able to love it. Nor does it make your opinion objectively true. Hope that helped!
@@jaysax7381 Exactly, just because some people liked/loved part 2, does not make it objectively true.
@@jaysax7381 Yeah you can like it, still doesn't make cheap writing acceptable. Or changing characters 180 degrees to give a disgustingly forced sjw message.
You guys are my first "Last Of Us" reaction and it was great!! I know the game and I love how the first EP went!! can't wait for the next ep.
😁🤜🤛🤘
Imagine watching this scene in a game you never thought would impact you this much like 10 years ago. Imagine re watching it with better graphics when the remastered version dropped not too long ago. Imagine watching it today with all the emotional baggage it gave you but this time as a show
oh hell yes!! i didn't think we'd get a reaction up so soon!!!
i totally feel diamond dave struggling not to spoil anything lmao, i had to yell while watching this first episode 😂
love that they pretty much took scenes straight from the game, but the parts they adapted for the TV were also done amazingly imo, so really looking forward to the rest of it! if they can keep up this quality i'll be amazed, but this gives me hope!
Dave is so excited. 😂😂😂
I remember this being on one of those top ten RUclips compilation vids and just how viral it was.
Same here. Then got me a on few things. But it was great!
Much appreciated and glad you are joining us for the ride!
Always a pleasure 👍
That 1968 piece at the start was definitely aimed for the non gamers on this, can't wait for episode 2
🤞 For clickers in this next episode
They did really well with this. Cant wait for the the rest of it!
This is very exciting my favorite reaction channel getting to experience the beautiful story of Last of Us completely blind for the first time. Wish I could experience that again. Excited to see your guys journey. It started off great
i've never been so excited for a show like this in a long time as a huge fan of both games the first episode was perfect!
I've played both games and LOVED them. This is the best video game adaptation I've ever seen. I'm excited for everyone who hasn't played the games to experience this story. The whole lead up to Sarah's death was SPOT ON, so many references to the video game and the differences were well done.
My grandparents had an awesome wooden clock, and I was lucky enough to inherit it 😊
🤜🤛
The way Diamond Dave was just silently losing his shit was EXACTLY how I was watching this the first time with my dad who's never played the game or seen anything to do with it. It's one of my all-time favorite games, I've played it so many times, and this adaptation blew me away. Every time I watch a reaction of it I get the same feelings. SO damn good!!
As someone who is a fan of the game, no complaints of this episode whatsoever. It has me so amped for the rest of the season! Also, looking forward to upcoming reactions and see what you guys continue to think. I agree, waiting a week will be brutal. 😆
The wait is going to be longgggg
The storyline was so good that I wouldn’t let my husband play the game without me! They did a great job bringing the game to life!
Hell yes, I found you guys during your Black Summer reactions and was hoping you'd give this a try. Can't wait to see more.
😁🤘
Well said here!!!
I loved Dave's expressions during the episode trying not to spoiI. :D I also watched a lot of game plays of this game, so I've got the same feelings.
Same, Pewdiepie's let's play of The Last of Us was my favorite let's play to watch out of everyone though.
He was annoying
Not even 20 minutes in and I'm already completely invested and fighting back my emotions, and I already knew what was going to happen... If this will be anything like the roller coaster masterpiece that is the game, this is going to be one heck of a ride.
Agreed. I am invested all over again, can't wait for episode 2! 🤗
Loved the reaction and really loved Diamond Dave's excitement throughout. lol Was a great episode. Hope it continues in this same vein.
Man that Sarah scene really pulled on the tears. More so than I felt in the game.
Holy crap!! Using that acoustic cover in the intro is such a great choice, I knew I recognised it! Whoever edited this deserves a raise
Ahh I commented this before the shoutout, you guys are stellar
🤜🤛
That opening scene from 1968 was effing incredible...
I'm thinking episode 2 we are going to get a lot of detail about that.
Yeah I was kinda skeptical on that as well, that was a key moment in the game focused on for a good while before they moved on and it did seem a bit rushed there.
Played the game multiple times and it still makes me tear up like a baby....
I was worried about this series but they've done very very well
My Favorite thing is how well all the actors actually fit the game characters, they are doing amazing, dude literally sounds like Tommy its crazy lol. Also that they got the Voice actor for Marleen to reprise her role in the show is pretty cool too.
That opening was 🤯🤯🤯🤯 ...what a great freaking episode! and I am loving the Oak's tshirt!
Sooo glad you guys are reacting to this. Your expressions and enthusiasm was priceless, Dave. Got me even more excited! ❤
Also, not sure if it’s relevant, but the 1968 reference at the beginning might have also been a callback to George Romero’s Night of the Living Dead, the story/movie that started it all, zombie style, in 1968!!! 🤘🏼
Glad you enjoyed! Sunday can't come soon enough!
Same! When Joel asked Sara how she fixed his watxh and she said "Drugs, hardcore drugs." that made me smile soo hard. Moments like those>>>
@Dove Love yesss I jumped out my seat and yesssss
Hi, wood clock parents here.
I’ve played over 10 times. This adaptation is brilliant! This game has changed my entire life. I’m happy this story is being shared with the public. I’m excited to see Neil in heaven lol. That guy is a fuggin Angel❤️❤️
i dont think Dave can watch the show with the guys he was so exited about everything hard to keep his poker face hahahah
I'm glad they show Joel grabbing supplies because, in the games ammo/supplies is very scarce so you have to look for it
God damn lit intro, and the guitar solo is *umph*!
Hey!! Thank you and I think you are the first to comment on it. Much appreciated 🤙
@@BaddMedicine Well it deserved special mention, it was extraordinary and very touching. In retrospect to the episode 👌🤜
I loved it. I knew what was gonna happen and it still gave me the shivers. I loved that there were lots of scenes from the game that were almost identical, probably the first time that that has properly happened on an adaptation, and the clickers give me the creeps.
Love this series already, they nailed every character and cast. Can’t wait for more
As a gamer it feels strange watching while pretty much knowing everything thats going to happen so i actually really enjoyed the scenes that weren't in the game!
@@Eon233 Yeah Ellie never liked violence and is chocked at first. But she gets used to it. The scene in the show I interpreted as her thinking ”wow, he did that for me?”
I love this that you haven’t play the game! I wanna see reaction of people who never played the game but are watching the show and getting their first piece of last of us media for the first time. I can’t wait see you guys react throughout the series, it’s going to be a good one!
