You might have seen sticker of Jaat, Gurjar, Yadav, rajput, jatav on bike or car proudly flaunting their caste. Most of these people are OBC and SC. Then how it suddenly become casteist when Brahmins flaunt their caste. Why it is so threatening for you all?
Let people be pride of their identity whatever it is unless and until they don't discriminate. That's it.🙏
1] People identifying themselves as Yadav, Jatt, etc., seems quite unnecessary to me.Here's the thing: when you mention belonging to a particular group, that's fine to some extent. But when you say you're proud of being part of that group or community, it can be misinterpreted by others.
2] From a PSYCHOLOGICAL perspective : , this misinterpretation can arise due to social identity theory, which explains how people naturally categorize themselves into groups. This often leads to an "us vs. them" mentality, where pride in one’s group may unintentionally signal to others that your group is superior. Someone from a different group might feel threatened and perceive it as competition over which group is better, thus fueling casteism.
3] Additionally, ingroup vs. outgroup bias suggests that people tend to favor their own group and may unconsciously harbor negative feelings toward others, making it easier for misunderstandings to occur.
For INSTANCE : , if someone in America posts a gym photo with the caption "white power," others will understandably question, "What do you mean by that?" This triggers a defensive reaction, as it's human nature to protect one’s own group. The fault lies on both sides because maturity and understanding of different perspectives could prevent these reactions and the resulting hate comments.
If you attach too many things with ego or identity, you will always be hurt by some or the other thing.. i think now you can solve this by yourselves, coz this solutions are personal...

All upper caste born privileged in india. They never get discrimination on the basis of birth. They get respect without doing anything.

Bulk of discrimination cases against SCs are done by nonBrahmins in which many culprits are OBCs.

There is no caste certificate with Brahmana caste name.
Brahmana is a person who do Karmas with majority Satvika Guna and followed by Rajasika Guna and least Tamasika Guna.
You will attached to Brahmana Guru Shishya Parampara, only after you are assessed by your Guru (teacher)/while between the life time of Upanayana and Samaavarthana (graduation) ritual, according to above ratio of Triguna.
This was the ancient system which is not prevalent anymore and therefore irrelevant. The British categorised varn as castes and our governments have continued. We cannot expect one section to follow varn system while everyone else follows jaati. Your logic, in today’s world, is a double edged sword where a Brahman should only consider themselves as Brahman when they have attained knowledge of vedas etc. while others continue to perceive them as Brahmin basis their caste and last name.
These Brahmins should get dna test done ,so that they will no their country of origin. Ccmb does has been doing this and they will tell them their country of origin. This will end debate

The reservation excludes Brahmins in areas in which they are under-represented such as education and employment. Brahmins oppose reservation to achieve goals such as bridging inequalities in employment and pay, increasing access to education, and redressing existing injustices, prejudices or obstacles against Brahmins. The reservation purely targets the Brahmins by discouraging them for increased participation. Brahmin drawback is the societal drawback that disadvantages Brahmin people over non-Brahmin people in societies, if they are under the same social, political, or economic circumstances. Current innocent Brahmin people must not bear a collective responsibility for the harm which had resulted from historical casteist treatment of people belonging to other groups. Discrimination against any individual on the basis of their Brahmin origin is unjustified. Reservation is discriminatory, discarded meritocracy and is driven by lower caste vote-bank politics.

Their abilities & merits are rewarded accordingly aborad. In such cases they take educational loans, their parents don't provide for them because they're not that wealthy. I'm a brahmin, my parents educated us children just saying we are vegetarians. It was only after joining govt job or for competitive exams, during promotion s. I felt bad a brahmin gets no benefit. Another point I have a physically handicapped adopted baby, someone said apart from her handicapped pension she gets no benefit as her caste mentioned is brahmin. But I do not bother, if a person is capable of fighting survival of the fittest , he she will get what she wants. Feel proud a Hindu and a brahmin.

I absolutely agree with the views expressed by Ms Anuradha Tiwari. I have faced taunts of being a Brahmin during my study days.Reservation based on Caste is only promoting abckwardness and not adding any value towards integration of society at large. Children of officers who are holding plump positions in society and financially well off are continuing to get benefits of reservation. There are thousands of Brahmins who are barely managing to eke a decent living. It is high time there is a movement to pressurise the lawmakers to do away with reservation based on merit for admission/jobs/ promotions, etc. Our media is quick to highlight the caste when such a person is accused of malpractise as being a victim of discrimination. Our society should have Merit based reservation on finacial grounds alone.
