Do Try Not To Eat That's So Raven
Guest Appearance Raven Symone
@@Cinderella640 yes great idea
@@yasmined16Thanks
Sorry but that was very bad French so not a good representation of what Babbel can teach.
How about German food? A try German food.
1)Jamie is too cute for this universe 🥺
2) Keep those puns coming Chris
3) Jair is back to her old goofy self 😅
this guy said africa has 8 countrys 🥲 i dont know if i should cry or laugh
😂
That’s uneducated ⚪️🗑️
As an African I feel like laughing and crying at the same time.
After a while I learned that is normal, they simply dont know geography and the government like it that way
😂
Ethiopia is a Unique Culture that has managed to preserve itself from european colonization. So dont misinform by stating that its a blend of eastern and european cultures. Its ETHIOPIAN culture not a blend of something else.
💯
Exactly I was about to say... our culture is thousands of years old what are they talking about.
Not only European conquest but Arabic conquest.
Be kind. They are Americans, after all, not very bright.
Fr tho bro, I'm Ethiopian and we're the only country in Africa tht's not colonized, we have our own culture, and ppl spreading false info is kinda disrespectful
Ethiopian food is not influenced by Europeans at all we have books older than most European nations as a country, Ethiopia is the oldest nation in Africa, don't misinform about my culture.አንቺ አይጥ።
😂
As a Nigerian, this makes me so happy knowing that people actually enjoy/like our food, especially the fufu and egusi soup ❤😂
We don't enjoy the scams from Nigeria tho
And can you guy please stop selling dugs in my town
@@jacquesvermeulen8870racists are everywhere ig
As a South African. Nandos is nice but they could’ve tried Magwenya/Vatkoek with Achaar, Kota, Steam Bread, Biltong, Cow head, Pap, etc.
Bro! Some lamb potjie with pap and chakalaka! Or a Durban curry vetkoek or bunnychow! So many possibilities!
You know it girl
Yes so many things even just boerewors.
I'm a Nigerian 🇳🇬 and we and Ghanaians are that siblings that don't agree like that but we love each other
They called egusi eegusi
Cool
@@Puppetzchannelit doesn't matter know why ? Egusi originated in Nigeria they just adopted it lmao
I’m Nigerian, and I have never heard that your parents giving you the “crispy bits of the rice” means that they love you💀
Same here
Colonization inventions
@@karaamundson3964it doesn't sound European at all, but more an Arabic or even a Persian thing (tadij).
Good job Nicole pronouncing the Nigerian dishes correctly. As a fellow Nigerian we thank you ❤🫶🏾.
Definitely wished y’all tried suya or meat pie
As an Ethiopian🇪🇹 I appreciate the opportunity for the world to check out our Dishes and we hope u include our other famous dishes like Doro Wet, Tebs, and ambasha too 🎉
Are you really Ethiopian because you spell tibs wrong and hambasa and I know this because I’m Eritrean 🇪🇷
@murphy8273 yea ofc I am but I never tried to type them in English but still it's not hambasa, it's ambasha but I think ur right about tibs
You're actually both right: in amharic it's called ambasha but in eritrean it's called hambasha.👍
The black girl and the dude with the glasses their energy was giving ❤❤
So happy they tried Injera from Ethiopia! My own country 🇪🇹 ❤️ but the way they pronounced kitfo it’s not “Keef to” it’s pronounced “Kut fo” 😂 and injera is pronounced “en jer a” and also injera and all Ethiopian and Eritrea food has nothing to do with Europe because actually Ethiopia won the war with Italy from colonising them. ❤ and none of their foods are influenced from Europe.
Omg I was feeling 🔥 in my guts…. As the lady introduced the cuisine as European and Eastern influenced… what? Where did she get that from. Am glad you educated her… peace from 🇪🇷
thank you 🤍 tht was annoying 😅
Jair and Chris are the perfect pair to put for food taste tests…they compliment each other and get along so well…they crack me up too😂
"Why is the black card going to people who can afford to eat there?" - Noah is dishing the FACTS!
am i the only one who got rubbed the wrong way by that comment?🫤
@@ihateyouall9940yea your the only one … it makes sense people who can’t afford to eat need it more
@@ihateyouall9940 bro what… like how do u take that the wrong way
@@Mara.1 never tell me how i'm "supposed to" take anything that will never involve ur kind…🤡ur making males look bad.🤷🏿♀️
@@ihateyouall9940what 💀
I thoroughly enjoyed this episode. I'm Nigerian but I can just imagine Senegalese people be wondering why Nigeria and Ghana be fighting over jollof rice
😂😂
Look up “Gullah red rice” enslaved Senegalese, Nigerians, and Ghana in usa blended together their recipes of thieboudienne & jollof and created “Gullah red rice”
Lol cool.
You can make a whole program of South African foods. Our barbecue dishes, potjies, seafood dishes on the coals, biltong, dried sausages, and cape malay food.
As a South African I’m glad that African food is getting the recognition it deserves. But when you eat malva pudding you have to use the neon yellow custard in order to have the full experience.
Ultra Mel is the one my guy 💪🏽
Also I feel like it looked dry, it should be SoAKeD in the syrup. 😂
The malva pudding
@@meganshaw1738 in North Carolina , USA , we got news that a South African restaurant is opening up. Everyone got excited because we never had South African food. When they opened for business we all went, even lizzo the celebrity went. But when we got there there, The owners explained they are Afrikaans and it’s a vegan only restaurant. We were expecting traditional South African food.
That Malva looked so dry it hurt 😭🤣
I love how open minded all of are. Thank you for showing Africa some love. ❤️❤️ Watching from South Africa 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
South African dish suggestions: Milk tart, samp and stew, chakalaka, biltong, boerewors roll, bunny chow, magwinya (vetkoek) with mince
Don't forget a Kota, Koeksisters, and proper pap to go with that chakalaka👌🏻
Even better when when you're in Africa as we dont have all the extra additives, preservatives and whatever else you put in your food. Its all natural, wholesome foods, shared with great people and made with love.
Next time you try South African foods, try a babotie or a bredie. Or a meal that all South Africans have which is part of our national heritage, a braai accompanied with pap en tik. Enjoy 😊
As a Nigerian thank u for choosing food form our country 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬
As a South African 🇿🇦 you gotta try Koeksisters and Milktart desserts.
Yes!
Yessss
Yesssss
Yessssss
Love the ETHIOPIAN food, a mix of all the best flavours. Gursha is a sign of love as well.
The black girl and the white guy with the hawain shirt knows how to enjoy food
As a South African ❤i am proud. Thank you for the Malva Pudding ❤️
Time to get deeper into African food, Egyptian food, Moroccan food, Sudanese food, Nigerian food, etc.
And Ghanaian food too
Agreed!! ❤❤❤
wdym deeper? they tried foods from like half a dozen countries. they can’t do 54 countries in one episode
@@theelolicious9302 I mean an episode for Egyptian food, an episode for Moroccan food, etc. Did you really think I was asking for 54 countries in one episode?
I was waiting for them to do more North African food and hoped to see Egyptian food
Yeah I’m South African! And it’s so amazing seeing my country and culture presented and enjoyed❤💥
Do you feel that this was a real representation of our country though, be honest
When she said she's feeling sleepy.....yes girl. African food is always comfort food. Makes you want to forget all your problems!!
Jaime is just too adorable ;3; ❤️🌟
Chris and his puns 😂 (WRYYYYY)
Well done again Chef Ash(The food looks amazing o3o)
That cake will really do well with coffee (Agreeing with Jair :0)
Hahaha! Yes! I came to the comments right when she said “Ooo, DESSERT???” That woke her up!
@@HorusHawks That was so cute 😭💞
It ain’t cake , it’s meant to be pudding. It’s not supposed to be that dry , Malva Pudding is meant to be moist.
@@Thulii. Ah, I was meant to say dessert but I see now :3 ❤️
It looks good :o
@@DjZeroGalactica But sorry if my response seemed harsh 😅, I just meant to correct you
I'm Mexican and I want to try African food it looks so delicious.
Shoutout from South Africa 🇿🇦 🌶️🍗
In Nigeria, we have just one fufu, others are Lafun, Eba, starch, Iyan called pounded yam. I have seen many Nigerian food that people call it fufu, not all but just one.Lot of ❤️ from Lagos, Nigeria 🇳🇬.
Yes all of these are called Okele ❤.
So glad to see you enjoyed our Nigerian food🥰🇳🇬🇳🇬
i cant believe they referred to ethiopian food as a blend of european and eastern.... WTH. ethiopian food is uniquely ethiopian. infuriating.
Exactly! Our culture is thousands of years old and they mispronounced kitfo. I hope they would instead let a person from the culture of cuisine explain dish rather than a an american reading off the internet. Basic respect for another culture
It's almost like Americans can't imagine a wonderful culture coming from africa. 'Nah got to be some european influences yeah yah, that sounds right 😌'. I find it so ridiculous 😒
They’re just yapping
You guys they don’t know! Just let them learn ok! Don’t be mean.
Yeah that was hilarious 😅😅 "the land of origin" Is ethiopia not only for humanity but for many cultural diversity too. 🇪🇹❤❤
I definitely think an episode just on South African food would be great! There are so many international influences and meals that are unexpected
As a South African, I'm so happy Malva pudding was included, also it's not just enjoyed with custard, it's also good with vanilla ice cream
why is Jaime so adorable. she out here just living her life and being as cute as she wants to be
Bruh Ethiopian food is hands down one of my favorite cuisines of all time. ❤
❤❤❤
As a Kenyan, my favourite dish is injera, i can never get bored of eating it.
The way Jaime perked up when Nicole said dessert!!
Please have a dedicated episode for South African food and drink!!! Our food and drink are really delicious and unique because of the cultural diversity in the country
As a South African I was rather sceptical about watching because the tasters in similar videos that I've watched were rather disrespectful. I was pleasantly surprised watching this and i enjoyed it tons, thank you.
Ethiopian food is my favorite genre of African cuisines.
Y'all need some more rounds with African food. Y'all gonna have to come back with this continent ✊🏾 AFRICA! LOVE THIS EPISODE!!! 🖤
As a South African I can confirm how great Nando’s and malva is 😍😂🫶
As a south African, I am happy with this reaction. 🤗❤️🇿🇦
South African milk tart is the best dessert also the peppermint crisp dessert.... Safas know what I'm talking about 😊 and koeksisters ❤❤❤❤️
I love how Jamie genuinely loves anything and everything she eats and be really into the food
I love Jaime...she dives right in there like a baby Sharon...love it when ppl enjoy their food
As South African I’m happy you guys love malva pudding. I love Malva pudding ❤
1:29 the drink in jamaica is sorrel and its good with rum 😋
As a South African, I fully approve this message 😅 thank you Nicole and team for this amazing content! Keep up the good work!
Asian girl and the white guy were probably my favorite. The most open-minded & respectful
As a South African, I'm kinda sad that these people didn't get to experience the wonders of milktart
😂😂
Ikr
Joh guys we've gotta stop, milktart is the most overrated dish in our country. It tastes like colonization 😂
Wonders? Milk tart is not even in the top 100 of the great food we have. Rest.
Good point! @@LwaZulu88
GHANA 🇬🇭 🇬🇭 🇬🇭 ❤❤❤ (while watching the jollof section, my mom went on an entire rant on how Ghana made jollof 🤣)
Yass im from Ghana too
@@Agnes-vb9vj yaaaasss ✨️
Jamie's face whenever she taste something good is the best 😂
Am I the only one that loves and appreciate Chris’ puns? 🤣🤣
I think people needs to know that all swallows are not fufu, Fufu is made from Cassava flour, Pounded Yam is made by boiled yam, pounded in mortar with a pistel, or Yam flour mixed in hot water. Eba is Cassava granules (garri) mixed with hot water. All these are called swallow. So let's stop calling all swallows fufu. Rather, fufu is also another form of swallow. I hope this is informative enough 🤗🤗😂
Dude who said 8 countries in Africa 💀 you’re on my list😂
He's the stereotypical American😂
you guys should try bunny chow a south african dish from durban
I'm glad you had some of our food, but there's more out there you need to try. 😊 When you go Nigerian you never go back. 😅 🇳🇬 🇳🇬 🇳🇬
As a south african, the malva pudding looks good, but could be better... It looks a little dry, you could soak it in a syrup to make it more moist. I want to say its almost juicy with the syrup...
I would love to see an episode featuring Native American food.
As a South african, it makes me so happy yo see Americans try my countrys food
Bobotie, bunny chow, braai brooitjies, pepermint crisp tart and milk tart. Lets do proudy South African
I’m from South Africa. We usually pour a cream, butter and vanilla sauce over the malva right after removing it from the oven. It makes the pudding all sticky and moist. The version in this video looks a bit dry. It is then served with an additional serving of either custard or plain vanilla ice cream. The difference in temperature (the hot pudding against the cold custard or ice cream) is one of my favourite things about this dessert.
Original malva also contains white vinegar, which I find to be a key ingredient, alongside the apricot jam.
All time favourite. 10/10 would recommend
Yay finished with our mulva pudding and custard. And yes I love nandos and its peri peri sauce. 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
I’m so glad they’re getting the chance to try African foods. They are soooooooooooo slept on. A lot of my baby sitters growing up were West African so I was lucky enough to get west African food as a child
I'm white, but I'm not "seasonings bother me" white 💀 I want to try African food so bad! It looks beautiful and very delicious!😊
Respect to the person who showed you the combination of malva pudding and custard.. as a fellow South African I can tell you all of us approves it in here. We eat a lot of desserts with custard, even with cake sometimes
im a SOUTH AFRICAN so try ...... um... rice and beans , pap, eggs , chicken.enjoy our delicious food
Mentioning every other continent except Africa was wild, and the lady saying Elephant butt threw me off because what??😳🤦🏽♀️
No matter who’s sitting next to Jahir, she always brings out the best version of them I love herrr
South Africa is here 🇿🇦
South African here! Hope you had that Malva Pudding nice and warm with ice cream and custard 🤍 Enjoy!
(And, yes, it's delicious with a cup of coffee).
Ghana does NOT primarily use Basmati. It's jasmine rice all the way. Most Ghanaians don't even know what Basmati rice is, lol.
who cares Senegal and Gambia wins anyways
@@skrrrt5651 Who cares, nobody wins actually LMAO
For the first drink for the first guy who said hibiscus 🌺 1:50 you are absolutely correct it’s actually from hibiscus flower, dried hibiscus flower that is boiled.
As a South African that loves this channel, this might be my new favorite video
i was born in South Africa
and i love South African food
And Arabic food because i am
A Muslim
Afghanistan has best Arab food 💖🥰
African food is DELICIOUS. It is some of the best food in the world.
Jair and Chris are hilarious together ! I love them 😊
As a South African I can agree Malva Pudding is like the best tasting thing ever
we need to Unite Africa becomes one country we have alot of things
South African desserts you should try: milk tart, peppermint crisp fridge tart, sago pudding and boeber.
Chris puns were out of this world lmaoooo. That guy is intelligent and witty af
Proud Ghanaian and African, the way she mentions sobolo is quite funny😅😅😅😅😅😅
But honestly thanks People Vs Food being waiting for this videos 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Yesss ooo
As a Nigerian..i haven't seen any foreigner that doesn't like Jollof...
I am Kenyan. The mixture of Mashed Potatoes, peas and corn we call it "Mukimo/Kienyeji".
Pairs well with Kachumbari ( salad that is a mixture of tomatoes, onion, coriander and chillies) with the Roasted goat meat.
Wewe sisi si washamba 😂
Cape Malay cuisine from South Africa is pretty amazing. Also try some damp and beans and dombolo. Our food heritage is a rich tapestry of flavours. Proudly South African 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦
We know Good food in SA. With all the culinary input from our different cultures, how could we not👌🏻
Potjiekos, especially a tripe and trotters potjie
As a South African watching them trying South Africa food just makes me feel proud for some reason
I'm so proud of my boy Noah, how far he has come trying new foods!
Can we just appreciate how many puns Chris made. They were so good.😂
The first drink is also called hibiscus in some Caribbean countries but in Jamaica it’s called sorrel
It has the same name in Barbados
I notice Nicole is describing most of the dishes now, before handing them out. Sharon and Jaime have anything to do with that decision? Lol
Why would anyone think there are EIGHT countries in africa lmao😭💀
They be thinking Africa is the country truth be told. Smh
As a nigerian im happy for u guys to try african food because its amasing
As an Ethiopian Gursha is made for love, care and respect. Thanks for checking our staple food Enjera and the healthy combinations.
“How many African countries are there?!”
“8!”
“Well, goddamn has the educational system FAILED YOU!!!!”
As a Native American it would be cool to see Try Native American food
Egusi soup holds a special place in my heart, I love it so❤
