I went as Drunk Uncle for Halloween a few years ago, and my brothers friend showed up at the house as Stefon. I wish I got a picture of us!
I just listened to this on spot. These guys are admired and loved by tens of millions of people. But then they show up here all chill and vulnerable. And most of all, funny af! Grateful.

I used to laugh at that sketch because that guy is such a creep. Ten or so years later, I have cat. Now I am that guy and I laugh with him.

I hate it when they’re not in studio. The tin can sound is so annoying
They are just straight-up lazy when it comes to audio. And there are ways to make it sound much better, even if out of the studio. But they just want to use the Zoom audio and not worry about a simple clip-on mic connected to a decent audio recorder.

Why do you all not make videos? These audios are impossible to listen to, I can’t tell who’s talking half the time. facial expression means something in conversation.
I'm always surprised that the so-called professionals that are producing this podcast care so little about the audio quality, especially since they don't release the Zoom video. Why can't they send the person an audio recorder so they don't have to rely on the crappy Zoom audio? I used memory card recorders all the time when taping weddings. If I can care about the audio quality, why can't these guys? They are no doubt getting paid much more than me.

AUDIO ONLY ON THE RUclips VIDEO PLATFORM IS A HUGE MISTAKE. IT'S BEEN A YEAR. YOU SHOULD HAVE HIT 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS ALREADY.
There's nothing to see. 2 guys in chairs with microphones. The guests are remote most of the time and they can barely get the sound right. You want a split screen with video of a talking head out of frame, out of focus and on delay?

In a span of TWO MINUTES near the end, John McCain comes up and Carvey crowbars in an impression. Bruce Springsteen comes up and Carvey crowbars in an impression. Bobbly tells a Paul McCartney story and you know what’s going to happen… Carvey immediately crowbars in an impression. Jesus Christ.
That's what makes this podcast enjoyable, as opposed to a run-of-the-mill interview. Carvey was the SNL goat, now he's half of the best podcast on youtube.
Carvey continues to be the most awkward human on the planet. And I've never seen someone who can't go more than 5 minutes without trying to be funny with an impression. He's so desperately needy.
I love Dana’s deep knowledge of cast members like Mickey Day, Taran Killiam, and Kate McGinnon.
I wonder if Dana is high during some of these interviews?
