Is there a way to whitelist applications? I'd probably keep my VPN on all the time if I could make certain games not run with it (turns my 40 ping into like, 80)

I always use wireguard. Because it is highly secured... And always my favorite protocol.
You say that shadowsocks only protects browsing traffic, but what else is there to protect? Like what do the others protect that shadowsocks doesn't

So if WireGuard is faster than udp why can't we use it for gaming
