@@idontanswerquestions...SurfShark isn't hiding your location on Google. Just by asking Google, "what's my current location?" It will clearly show a map of where you really are, not the location that has been chosen on the Surfshark app. The VPN is totally useless! It's not hiding anyone's IP address or current location. It's a scam!!! Everyone should be reporting that VPN company to ScamAdviser!!!
@@idontanswerquestions...If they are promoting their service falsely, it is considered fraud. Which is against the law and is a criminal act. Surfshark VPN does not seem to hide your current location or IP address. You can easily verify this by doing a Google search for your local weather forecast, and it will show that your location is NOT hidden. Regardless of the protocol or area you select on the VPN app, it doesn't hide anything. I believe it's a scam, so it should be reported to ScamAdviser.
I'm not exactly sure what the purpose of their dedicated IP even is. I bought it, and it will not stream anything other than RUclips, and their customer support has not addressed this for me at all. Despite multiple attempt to contact them regarding a refund, it has been nada. I guess if anti Captcha is the purpose, then that works. Also, the IP that I purchased is not even located where I requested. When I contacted them to ask why, they were surprised that their own IP locator showed the wrong location. DO NOT PURCHASE A DEDICATED IP from Surfshark. Torguard would definitely be the way to go, and they allow Wireguard as well.
I have a dedicated IP from SurfShark and it works great, no issues an no captrcha. Using the wireguard protocol setup in my openwrt router, only service that blocks it is Linkvertise.
Yeah I found that out right after buying a dedicated IP this morning. This company is so damn misleading with their advertising. It's already bad enough that the Surfshark app is only supported on few devices, now they don't offer dedicated IP on the FireStick. Anyways I requested a refund right away.
isn't that also reducing security, since all your history can be now compiled, since you only use this IP-Adress? Can add rules to installed apps and specific websites to use the dedicated IP or multihop or standart? A category for browsermode would be amazaing as well. For example, in incognito mode, use Multihop or else.... Or just setup the dedicated IP in your router, and then use the browser extension or the device itself to route through your static IP into the Sharkuniverse...?
A simple way to see if your VPN is really hiding your IP address and location is to go to Google Maps and ask what your location is. If it doesn't show the country that you've chosen on the VPN app, but instead, shows your real location that you are in, then the VPN is NOT working. And you'll quickly learn that contacting the so-called "support team" is useless. They will just keep asking you about the country that you're in or what operating system you are using. They shouldn't need to know that information in order for the service to work properly. The whole point of paying for a VPN is to hide that information from others, so giving SurfShark that information totally defeats the purpose of having a VPN. No matter your location, what operating system you use, or anything else shouldn't matter. If your real location shows up on Google Maps, then the VPN service is a fraud and not doing what it's supposed to do. In that case, report SurfShark as a scam to a consumer reporting agency like ScamAdviser. Committing fraud is illegal because SurfShark is proving that it's nothing but a SCAM! Here is SurfShark's business address: Kabelweg 57, 1014BA Amsterdam, the Netherlands (you will need that information to report them for fraud.)
Im only using Surfshark wiregard to hide my IPTV home streaming, however my ISP is trying to block my stream and on the Matches day or Champions league soccer days my stream its glitching and stop a few times even i have my VPN connected and i try to switch a vpn country but still having streaming problems.
surf shark is garbage and customer service keeps saying they will give a refund then does not. then has the nerve to 'sell' me. dont ever have anything to do with surf shark!
Please help me out. I just bought the dedicated IP from Surfshark's website. When I go to my TV, the app doesn't give me that dedicated IP in the locations options. How do I connect my devices to the dedicated IP if it doesn't show up in the apps? Am I doing something wrong?
It sounds like you might need to configure your dedicated IP manually, as not all devices or apps might support automatic detection or display of dedicated IP locations. Here are some steps to help you set up the dedicated IP on your TV and other devices: 1. Verify Your Dedicated IP: • Log in to your Surfshark account on their website. • Navigate to your account settings or dedicated IP section to find the IP address assigned to you. 2. Manual Configuration on TV: • Open the Surfshark app on your TV. • Look for an option to add or manually configure a server. • Enter the dedicated IP address you obtained from your account settings. • Save the configuration and connect. 3. Connecting Dev Devices: • For devices like laptops, desktops, or mobile devices, you might need to configure the dedicated IP manually in the Surfshark app settings or through the device’s network settings. • For instance, in the Surfshark app on a PC, go to settings, select manual configuration, and enter your dedicated IP. 4. Contact Support: • If the steps above don’t work, contact Surfshark’s customer support. They can provide specific instructions or troubleshooting for your device and ensure that your dedicated IP is correctly set up. Make sure your Surfshark app is updated to the latest version, as updates often include new features and fixes. If you continue to experience issues, providing Surfshark support with details of your device model and software version can help them assist you more effectively.
Yep just save the dedicated ip file to your desktop, phone or whatever. Log into ASUS Router web gui set up vpn client under vpn tab. Load configuration file into the vpn client set up (VPN Fusion i believe it is called).
Buyer beware! Surfshark managed to change my one-time payment into a recurring charge through PayPal. Just got hit with an unexpected $155 cdn bill, I haven't used this product in over 8 months. Deselect recurring payment in your surfshark and paypal (as cleverbridge/surfshark) accounts!
I know many of you already have Surfshark's Dedicated IP! How are you liking it?
yes i would like to have surfshark wallpapers✌
Why do I keep getting an error message that says "This site can’t be reached?"

How many devices can I use with my dedicated ip at the same time
Did you figured that out?
It's a rip off its one more thing they nickel and dime you for
Do not use this vpn. Very unstable and won’t give you refund while they break down and can’t give you proper service!
This service sucks bro
So just another thing that costs more to use.
Dedicated IP is completely optional and is not required if you don't see the need for it. However I'd recommend trying it out for sure
@@SurfsharkAcademy I would have to do some research and see if it’s worth the money.
More and more sites are blocking Surfshark servers, so making it not as good as it once was which is a pitty!
