This is the ending of the 37 min long awards show performance, the single most ridiculous over the top thing I’ve ever seen, a mini crazy BTs concert…during a 4 hour long awards show. For almost all their songs they are meant to be performed and really shine live.
It's worth waiting for their performance because you know they give such crazy performances I forgot how much i've waited for their performance when started😂 and they're the last ones to perform- (I don't even know how other idols can follow up that performance if there was a chance of them performing after BTS-)...
Dionysus is also one of my faves! It’s quite rock based and I love the metaphors in the lyrics. Like others have said, the full performance is 10000% worth checking out but perhaps it would work best in another BTS live one day 😊 Thank you for continuing this journey! The fact that this was the last performance of their 37 min. stage and it seemed like they just started with all their energy is truly amazing! When Namjoon said "Are you ready for this? Are you ready to be hyped up?" I actually said "ready for what?? you have already done everything!" They even freakin brought live horses on the stage...WTF! After watching BTS MMA and MAMA performances stages over the years (2015-2020), any performances of any other artists (western or kpop) always seemed to be below the "BTS Standard" 😎💪😏🤭 BTS always set their standards so high and the fact that only BTS continuously set those bars higher everytime is so mind blowing!!

This whole performance was so iconic! You picked the best one Knox! This song is about getting drunk on your love for your favorite art and the joy you get out of it. Dionysus is the Greek god of wine (mostly what he’s known for). Also I personally love this song because I’m a mythology nerd even before I was an army so I love all mythological references in their lyrics and everything Also this specific performance had a dance break remix with their other song called N.O

Fall, broke my back, shattered my pelvis, fractured all my ribs, collapsed both lungs, and damaged my aorta, I called 911 myself, docs said I was very lucky to be alive, but told me it would take a year to walk, this happened in January, I’m happy to say I’m walking, but your reactions kept my spirits up and were a major part of me getting back on my feet so soon. “You can just feel their energy on the stage.” Yes, that’s so true, BTS’ songs mostly has such hard choreographies but even so they still manage to sing so beautifully, there’s no words to describe how their singing and dancing are like. Especially during that year’s MMA, which was my first time seeing them live, all 47 minutes went by so quick that it just felt like it all happened within one minute itself. Don’t get me wrong, the moment their video came up I was screaming like crazy, and so did I when they performed BWL and other songs, but when Dionysus comes on, I shouted the loudest, by the end of the song my voice was so hoarse I barely can speak. You should totally see them perform live one day, it’s gonna be once in a lifetime experience and it’s gonna be the best minutes/hours of your life. By the time the concert ends, you will not be able to speak anymore, out of speechlessness and also because your voice is spent on fanchant and singing with them. Totally recommend going to one of their performances in the future, they do a lot once they start their tours, but getting one ticket won’t be easy, but still I totally recommend you go see at least one of their concerts.

When they decided last minute to change BTS from a hip hop group to an idol group, Bang PD promised Suga and RM that they wouldn’t ever have to dance, and that’s one of the main reasons they didn’t leave with the other original rappers. Lie of the century 😂😂 But thank god he did lie haha. I loved this! I think you should do the full performance though as there’s so much more to this one 💜

Omg my absolute favourite BTS Performance of all time! If you got the time, I highly recommend you check out the practice Video for that one too, where you get to appreciate the choreography and Teamwork without the flashy effects. It's insanely good. Also love how they weaved in parts of their early Song "N.O" which I guess nobody would've seen coming.
I love how intuitive you are, a proof of your passion for music. "Harmonizing" their talents in every aspect is BTS's game. They are true MCs that over time, vocal and rap lines can cross to elevate musically, dancing have evolve from learning to choreographing their own as a group and to a solo act. By being involved in productions of MV, photography, album to tour concept (and their Storyline), by the time their music goes live, even being just an act of a bigger event become like their own concert, hence the domination. I think you'll enjoy and appreciate "JUMP" which came out during their debut era, has a 90s hip hop feel with no MV released. But check out the lyrics then watch their 2014 live performance to see where they started from to DIONYSUS which BTS admitted as their biggest and most difficult live production (choreo wise, led to many injuries) - so far, I would like to add.

In fact, few years ago, in a Q&A at the Grammy Museum with executive director Scott Goldman, they were asked something about k-pop being a genre, or k-pop being an accurate description of BTS, and this was Suga's replie: "..rather than approach Kpop as a genre, a better approach would be ‘integrated content'. K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography…all these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package, that I think sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres so again, as I said, rather than approach K-pop as it’s own genre I think approaching it as this integration of different content would be better.”
It's interesting seeing this performance without the 20ish minute introduction they did for it because I'm not sure I ever had before, and it makes me realize that the performance of the actual song really was great. I've just never really stopped to think about it because when I watched the full thing, I was so overloaded by the introduction that they could have dropped a potato on the stage while Alvin and the Chipmunks sang the song, and I still would have considered all 30ish minutes one of the best performances I've ever seen.

But check out the lyrics then watch their 2014 live performance to see where they started from to DIONYSUS which BTS admitted as their biggest and most difficult live production (choreo wise, led to many injuries) - so far, I would like to add.

You were right when you said 'they have everything'. In fact, few years ago, in a Q&A at the Grammy Museum with executive director Scott Goldman,
they were asked something about k-pop being a genre, or k-pop being an accurate description of BTS,
and this was Suga's replie:
"..rather than approach Kpop as a genre, a better approach would be ‘integrated content'. K-pop includes not just the music, but the clothes, the makeup, the choreography…all these elements I think sort of amalgamate together in a visual and auditory content package, that I think sets it apart from other music or maybe other genres so again, as I said, rather than approach K-pop as it’s own genre I think approaching it as this integration of different content would be better.”
It's interesting seeing this performance without the 20ish minute introduction they did for it because I'm not sure I ever had before, and it makes me realize that the performance of the actual song really was great. I've just never really stopped to think about it because when I watched the full thing, I was so overloaded by the introduction that they could have dropped a potato on the stage while Alvin and the Chipmunks sang the song, and I still would have considered all 30ish minutes one of the best performances I've ever seen.
