The beat is very much like Queen's 'Another One Bites The Dust', which I hear Queen actually responded to :) I've heard lots of Bruno Mars comparisons, but the chorus is SO similar to the ending of Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream' - the bit that goes "Let you put you hands on me in my skin tight jeans be your teenage dream tonight" (musically my favourite part of the song, and the lyrics also go really well with the theme here). The rap lyrics sound very American in tone to me, quite unlike BTS rap lyrics. This song is just a huge, layered tribute to American pop music.

8:13 the lead can be a synthesized guitar but mostly in such retro pop songs an actual synthesizer is used like the roland jupiter or something. We also have their vst versions which are like emulators of those expensive synthesizers

You’ve reacted to the rapline, Mic Drop, Idol and of course the intentionally lighthearted fun songs like Dynamite and Butter. Can’t wait to see which live performances you choose. So many GREAT ones to choose from. I really hope you get to see the live cypher medley from 2017, which was just lit (though it can only be found on Facebook and Dailymotion). I’m curious whether you’d be interested in some of their heavier content - either lyrically, message and/or the music video itself telling a seperate story?
By the way, in the scene where they're being fimled for mugshots, aside from holding up plates with their names, each plate indicates the member's birthdate. So you have their names, birthdates and the first number is what i'm guessing is their debut number as in the contestant's number when they first registered for debut and that holds so much meaning behind it. It's like they're reminding themselves where they came from and comparing it to where they are now and it's like this hidden message to never stop dreaming and continue believing in yourself because dreams do come true and someday, you're going to have it big. But at the same time they're grateful and humble and it also acts as a reminder to never forget all the hardships they went through and the obstacles they had to overcome to be where they are right now. Every little detail holds so much meaning behind it and that never fails to amaze me

8:13 the lead can be a synthesized guitar but mostly in such retro pop songs an actual synthesizer is used like the roland jupiter or something. We also have their vst versions which are like emulators of those expensive synthesizers
you could also react to their song 'Hip Hop Phile/Lover' which is about their love for rap and hiphop. It really shows how passionate they are with their music.
They also sampled Queens “Another Bites the Dust” you can hear it in the beginning of the track.

I always love your reactions to BTS. You pick up on a lot of small details that others miss which makes it such a joy to watch. You’ve reacted to the rapline, Mic Drop, Idol and of course the intentionally lighthearted fun songs like Dynamite and Butter. Can’t wait to see which live performances you choose. So many GREAT ones to choose from. I really hope you get to see the live cypher medley from 2017, which was just lit (though it can only be found on Facebook and Dailymotion).

By the way, in the scene where they're being fimled for mugshots, aside from holding up plates with their names, each plate indicates the member's birthdate. So you have their names, birthdates and the first number is what i'm guessing is their debut number as in the contestant's number when they first registered for debut and that holds so much meaning behind it. It's like they're reminding themselves where they came from and comparing it to where they are now and it's like this hidden message to never stop dreaming and continue believing in yourself because dreams do come true and someday, you're going to have it big. But at the same time they're grateful and humble and it also acts as a reminder to never forget all the hardships they went through and the obstacles they had to overcome to be where they are right now. Every little detail holds so much meaning behind it and that never fails to amaze me
