I just really like the amount of research you put into this video. I hope your channel takes off in 2018 because working hard like this should be rewarded. Nice video, great job.
with the new ap item changes, you should expect to see a lot more karthus because of the rise of ap mages again, and most of them are equal match-ups for him in which he even scales greatly than them late game
And Teemo finally had his time to shine!. Teemo was picked twice on LCK againt Ez/TK as a viable counter, GFR Viper said its really good since they dont have sustain.
Teemo does fulfill the support role quite well though more than the other roles. The purpose of support is to babysit the ADC early game, take pressure off the adc, and to provide vision/map control mid to late game. Anything extra a support does is gravy. Early damage from teemo is excellent for helping keep his adc safer in early laning phase along with blinding dart. Once teemo hits 6, the shrooms provide great vision and force the enemy to deal with them. Which means they are constantly having to buy pink wards which slows down their item progression if they don't want to take lots of damage. It is true teemo's team fighting ability is subpar, so a support teemo requires someone else on the team to be the frontliner/engager. He is better suited to being a peeler in the back line. His Blind can help his ADC survive if dived on by assassin during a team fight. Or more often than not, teemo ends up being the one dived which is a better outcome than the adc. A smart teemo provides shrooms before team fights and objectives to allow team mates an escape path over them if needed, as well as blocking escape paths for the enemy. Which means teemo is really only effective as a support champ right now in the meta. As a support teemo is decent, but not a 1st pick for the role by any means. It requires a team comp that can allow him to peel in the back, and he works better against teams that are more AD focused than AP.
The amount of research you put into your videos is amazing, I saw your Tragedy of LMQ series after I watched this video. I really like your documentary style. I would be interested to see a video on Vladimir, as since his release he has been a balancing nightmare for Riot.
Hey, from the league of legend you tubers I have come by. Youre one of the more unique ones. You got your self a new sub, hope to see grow fast. On the downlow thou, I really want to see how you improve when reading off of a script.
Off META Diana would be pretty cool. She's a cool but forgotten champ who does have history in pro play but not for 2 years now. She struggles with her identity and i think a video on her will be cool.
I'm surprised you don't go into Teemo support. With the changes with Runes Reforged I could definitely see him as an interesting pick with Klepto and Ultimate Hat. The free gold, tons of ults, and ability to blind for strong trades could make it a very niche pick.
teemo support would only work in silver/bronze because in fights he actually gets crushed by meta supports. He lacks reliable cc, tank stats, synergy with adc, etc. His blind's range makes it hard to efficiently use it in fights and when teemo's blind is down he's literally useless.
The issue with Volibear is that he was actually meta for some time, so not sure if that can count here. I would personally like to see Mordekaiser, although you can also argue that he was a valid pick for a short period of time.
Volibear was one of the most superior junglers back in season 3, but later damage junglers such as Lee Elise Kha start to outclass him, when it comes to cinderhulk junglers like sejuani gragas Zac who has more teamfight engaging and ganking abilities, Volibear's kit does not fit the game well anymore imo
They could bring Teemo back by giving his shrooms longer duration as he levels them. like 3-5-7 minutes. The bouncing thing is underrated and actually gives Teemo's team fight quite a bit of strength. You say he "can't scale into mid and late game" but in solo queue his winrate goes up the longer the game goes. There's a lot of points and analysis that could use work here, since large scale evidence disproves many of your points.
Much, much less so. Before you could focus on runes like attack speed while also taking points in defensive masteries. Tahm Kench jungle and top was viable due to that. Now? Much less customization. There were a few "must pick" runes before (like armor or hp/level yellows), but there was much more variety in builds and strategies.
The thing is that while one could've built a runepage to make something kinda work in the jungle: All the vaible junglers had runes as well which made them stronger, thus in the end nothing changes. (maybe different for hardcore wooden elo where jungle never is contested...)
Amazing analysis, im really dissapoint on how many ppl hates the game atm cause they want to play Teemo jungle and crush everyone, I mean there is suppose to be a meta thats how the game was always meant to be.
as a main teemo since 2009 I have to say, people these days only want to rush nashors and liandrys, and that's why almost everyone can't win as teemo. I have almost 13 different builds and 5 different runes for him, that way I can build properly depending on what champions there is in enemy team.
if there's any chance for teemo to make it to worlds... he'd need a rework it would be great if riot make a slight change to his mushroom so that it can be used more than that one way like if you hold r for 2 second, the shroom thrown *explode upon contact with the ground* that would make his ultimate a bit more useful for teamfight
Technically, that TSM game where Regi played Teemo wasn't for nothing. The monetary difference between fourth and fifth in that tourney was $5,000. And Regi played Teemo with an AD build and AD gear..(and he played him in a seriously goofball fashion, when the truth is, they could have won if he had at all played seriously.) The pick was cute, but no one really wanted to see them just throw away that game. :/
I really like your videos, but I'm pretty sure that after the 20k rt tweet, bjergsen also wanted to play teemo. Back then parth said he is the best when played top with the ad/on hit build. I think it was in one of the old tsm legends episodes. (season 1 or 2)
I love playing teemo ...you have to be smart , y’all think you have to just q and auto , but that not the point ... second I hate that those competitive games , always pick the same champ , no of them take the risk ..... and there are so off meta op plays ...
I beg to disagree but there is no such thing as a weak champion. It all depends on the player to utilize a champs pros in both laning and team fights. Try to search for teemo plays that can outmatch those who play in professional tournaments. Remember those in the professional leagues are just people who has the resources to join. They havent met unknown strong players who plays for fun and not as a career.
Miko Abuda Your comment is full of empty words that literally mean nothing. Teemo's low play rate in high elo, as well as how crippled his kit is, shows that he needs a rework to place him back on track. A lot of champions need reworks before he does though (namely Aatrox, Irelia, Jax, etc...)
XxSatishxX LoL Yi’s kit is expensive so you need kills. If yi gets kills others don’t. Eventually, as you sapped so much gold from your team, no one else can be the carry.
I'm always meta.
TehRackoon lmao Yeah
rattttt
Not this season
U just got à one shot and cant even kill the enemy cuz he can tank all ur aa
I just really like the amount of research you put into this video. I hope your channel takes off in 2018 because working hard like this should be rewarded. Nice video, great job.
On meta 2018 few of these champs like teemo for grifin into ezreal and funnel Master Yi
@@IamnotfromUSA ?
I wouldnt mind a karthus episode, How he went from much a prominent midlaner in season1-early3 to being so obscure in the current meta
they took away 15 pot morde. That was the first killing blow.
with the new ap item changes, you should expect to see a lot more karthus because of the rise of ap mages again, and most of them are equal match-ups for him in which he even scales greatly than them late game
Zhonyas and GA
He is still viable
How he went from much a prominent midlaner in season1-early3 to being so retardedly stupid in the jungle
Another thing is with the introduction of the Rift Scuttler, Teemo is no longer able to control the river as well as he used to.
Luneth Sparks yep, he is like a mine sweeper
Would love to see Mordekaiser in a video!
Arrav but he was meta, used to be if a team got him other team almost always lost
the best chempion now I know it would be great
And Teemo finally had his time to shine!. Teemo was picked twice on LCK againt Ez/TK as a viable counter, GFR Viper said its really good since they dont have sustain.

This youtube channel feels a lot like summoning salt and i love it. Keep up the good work
April 6, 2018 - Teemo picked in LLN Opening Split '18 semifinals by Gaming Gaming
Lmao, I read the team's name and I was like "why the hell is my name there", then I realised its *gaming* gaming, not Gakamis Gaming
The amount of research you put into your videos is amazing, I saw your Tragedy of LMQ series after I watched this video. I really like your documentary style. I would be interested to see a video on Vladimir, as since his release he has been a balancing nightmare for Riot.
Afther seeing the entire video and the ammount of research you put into talking about my main, I had to subscribe.
i love these high quality videos, keep up the good work!
I really like the videos you put up man, keep up the good work and I'm sure your channel will eventually reach the success it deserves
I am sucker for these videos, fun and interesting look at why things are a certain way, because of earlier and newer metas. Really good, keep it up!

This is a really cool series that i hope would continue, thanks for the great content!
I love this content Kudo! I would love to see one video on Lux since she's never picked in competitive :P Cheers bro

He's a worse Fiddlesticks and even Fiddlesticks doesn't see competitive play.
Actually teemo supp got played in korean soloq in the preseason for a fair bit but i guess the tank supports took over.
Adc can cleanse the blind and gg
Wasn't Biofrost the guy spamming Teemo support in challenger soloQ?
when aery was busted
Awesome video Kudo! Would love to see Volibear next!
The issue with Volibear is that he was actually meta for some time, so not sure if that can count here.
I would personally like to see Mordekaiser, although you can also argue that he was a valid pick for a short period of time.
Vandiril Hi Vandiril, btw Morde is a good idea
Volibear was one of the most superior junglers back in season 3, but later damage junglers such as Lee Elise Kha start to outclass him, when it comes to cinderhulk junglers like sejuani gragas Zac who has more teamfight engaging and ganking abilities, Volibear's kit does not fit the game well anymore imo
man i miss old league, it had that special feeling to it
They could bring Teemo back by giving his shrooms longer duration as he levels them. like 3-5-7 minutes. Flippyxtrne yes I agree with u, teemo does tons of dmg and can kill squishies easily, even tanks can die pretty fast on the right circumstances.
Ah, the good old crazy stuff. I remember how innovative and weird games used to be... so long ago... =/
Stefan Lopuszanski with Runes Reforged there is still some room for uniqueness and customization
Much, much less so. Before you could focus on runes like attack speed while also taking points in defensive masteries. Tahm Kench jungle and top was viable due to that. Now? Much less customization.
There were a few "must pick" runes before (like armor or hp/level yellows), but there was much more variety in builds and strategies.
if you take resolve as first tree or also as second u got half of attack speed and some hp
The thing is that while one could've built a runepage to make something kinda work in the jungle: All the vaible junglers had runes as well which made them stronger, thus in the end nothing changes. (maybe different for hardcore wooden elo where jungle never is contested...)
Subbed. This is a cool idea for a series. Hope you keep going with it.
Your channel is amazing, keep it up.
Yo I'm the Irelia u laned against, am i in the video lmao?
a video on the heimerdinger jungle pick back in the days in Korea would be awesome. I think you might already have that idea though.
Great video, keep us this series my guy.
Amazing analysis, im really dissapoint on how many ppl hates the game atm cause they want to play Teemo jungle and crush everyone, I mean there is suppose to be a meta thats how the game was always meant to be.
he was considered meta a few years ago on mid for like 2 or 3 months
I played teemo in s5 as jungle. It was quite decent and fun actually (when enemy was not picking Elise :()
as a main teemo since 2009 I have to say, people these days only want to rush nashors and liandrys, and that's why almost everyone can't win as teemo. I have almost 13 different builds and 5 different runes for him, that way I can build properly depending on what champions there is in enemy team.
He was meta recently at the beginning of the poke meta in preseason
if there's any chance for teemo to make it to worlds... he'd need a rework
it would be great if riot make a slight change to his mushroom so that it can be used more than that one way
like if you hold r for 2 second, the shroom thrown *explode upon contact with the ground*

I'm happy to see this is a series! I want to see Wukong or Xin Zhao next.
Great video! Can't wait for next one
Really cool concept! Good job on this
The Off-Meta Videos are Awesome!!
Awesome video! You've got yourself a subscriber! :)
This is my recommended yet I'm happy btw rainman still does videos
I would have benched Reginald too after such a troll pick on the international stage. How did he dare to pick Teemo?!
Nice work. I really enjoyed it :)
Got to wonder if the end of trackers knife will see jungle teemo return.
Technically, that TSM game where Regi played Teemo wasn't for nothing. The monetary difference between fourth and fifth in that tourney was $5,000. I always build Tank Teemo with ZZ Rot and Banner, its good at split pushing and for some reason enemy team always targets me even though Im tank
dont give people ideas...
GamesCourier well it worked for me inna plat game
for teemo it actually works, as a zzrot is the perfect bait to the mushroons
Voli or Udyr next would be pretty neat.
The mention of Twin Shadows made me feel so nostalgic, mad respect to the OG Frost queen's. It's also coming back soon!!
Oh and Teemo can go die :)
How do you feel now that Twin Shadows has respawned?
Spooked
The champ that has never been meta and isn't that good can go die. Makes sense. People hate a champ that isn't even threatening
Heimerdinger would be a great episode
I wonder, will Teemo ever get a kit change?
Rest in peace theRainMan
I love this! Please do more❤ give Kindred and Rammus some love😀
Great vid, keep it up
And now Teemo got picked twice in LCK and has a 100% Win rate
A video on Twisted Fate would be neat
Can you do Quinn(and Valor) please .
Gud series mate, keep up the gud work
teemo adc doens't build AD, he builds most attack speed items (guinsoo, hurricane, BOTRK, wit's end, and then whatever)

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE your content, give me mooooore!!
Pls do shaco!
Gr8 video m8! Do offmeta Master Yi or Riven next pls. :3
You dont know any buff that’ll make em overpowered? Try to add true stealth on to those mushrooms, where oracle cant sweep them.
great video !
Need to update this video cuz of Griffin and Viper
Katarina, don't ever remember seeing her be meta...
That Guy Shes She has been meta for like 4 months now????
driesje I meant in pro league
Do a Video abt Diana and her competitive history! :)
Off Meta : Warwick please .
He is in meta now he is counter to ezreal tham kench in LCK'
I love playing teemo ...you have to be smart , y’all think you have to just q and auto , but that not the point ... second I hate that those competitive games , always pick the same champ , no of them take the risk ..... and there are so off meta op plays ...
Do a Mordekaiser ou Karthus video
Heimerdinger/Shaco/Lissandra/Tryndamere please! Great video!
Nikita Davlitsarov I mean in s6 she was a top tier pick.
Lissandra was quite a meta pick

Jonathan Tsai wat about yasuo
Yasuo can be played around with. You must be low enough to think that Yasuo is broken. At best he is slightly overpowered.
Love watch a video on shaco
He's mad man
Talon next?
WHERE IS TRMPLAYS
with the new runes, i guess fiddle sticks also isn't really meta anymore, is he?
I wouldl ove if you did a Pantheon one
What about off meta amumu?
Good video!
if he had more range...
off meta build of the day
Adc Veigar
Morde or draven would be interesting
An episode on Riven :)
shaco would be good, on how riot literally hates him and nerf him to the ground
Shaco is super strong lol?
sisuphos source?
LOL wtf i didt know TRM plays was rainman thats awesome
Off meta Wukong plz!
Do Kayle next please
WHY isn't master yi played in Copetitive play
cause he dies once he gets cced
Ulf Nope You can just buy Quicksilver
XxSatishxX LoL Yi’s kit is expensive so you need kills. If yi gets kills others don’t. Eventually, as you sapped so much gold from your team, no one else can be the carry.
The Nature Deathless Killer Damm i never thought of that
He has virtually no cc. Most jg picks do.
Shaco. Please do Shaco. Please. I'm actually begging you to do Shaco.
Nonono, temo guide is necessary
What about the old galio ??
Does anybody build full ap on Teemo and spam R on teamfights? Because I did..
Do Ashe
u are professional
Please Mordekaiser Next!
Do Udyr. I've never heard of a team picking Udyr.
UOL, those were good times
like dardoch played in for liquid few times
In s6 iirc, runic echoes udyr was busted
Darius would be great.
Spoiler alert 2019 dark harvest teemo o exists now, u have been warned
Garen
Easiest champ for winning low elo games. Done.
