I did the farm for the sporothrix back when the Deimos stuff first released, and completely accidentally. I didn’t actually look and just assumed (wrongly) that isolation vault bounties were the best way to get mother tokens, so I ended up running a total of like 500, and that’s likely low balling it. It was pain, and then like a year or two later I realized I was STILL missing a piece. This farm is horrendous
I was Lucky... I checked the officially Drop Tables and Discovered the Secret Bounty mentioned in the Video.... Not only did this make Farming the Sporothrix Easy but I got Arum Spinosa, Cortege and Morgha aswell. 😎
I'm missing one part after countless vault bounties and have at least one of the others twice. Probably going to just swap that last part with another player.
grind was supposed to incline players to spend money to skip...I just don't understand the "philosophy" behind deimos and lich/sister grinding, it's even weirder when you consider DE softened resource gathering even more on deimos than fortuna (deimos has WAY more crates that drops multiple resources at once AND has multiple loot obelisks across the map, fortuna alternative to crates were the way harder orb mothers...Cetus had none of this until the thumpers).
It's just the parts/mods; I don't get it.
I decided to farm it three days ago. Checked what I had and noticed I had the barrel and the blueprint already. Today I finished building it. It isn't that hard tbh, as long as you don't extract immediately after the vault and keep doing the bounties instead it comes pretty easily.
I'm so glad I wasn't the only one to do that. It wasnt until I had ranked the entratis to rank 5 via grinding out all of the different tokens and the vaults that I found out high level mother bounties were the way to go...
Considering Sporothrix and Arum Spinosa were among the rarest weapons in the game for seemingly no reason, it's really nice they threw one of them a bone like this
I will likely never use this augment ever even if it become the most absurdly powerful warframe meta weapon for years. Because the farm for the sporothrix was one of the worst things ive ever endured.
I like the pain of farming for meta stuff, like, if you want the big pp damage, you gotta earn it.

Another critical chance source is Sevagoth's Shadow Haze! It cranks enemies' RECEIVED critical chance, and can greatly surpass Harrow's Covenant.
But it doesn't effect radial
@@noahedenborg4221 with the explosion only capable of being 11% of the damage, how much does it matter? I think the explosion is best suited for spreading status on this weapon

Legit I think more people would use sniper weapons if you could choose to activate or deactivate the scope at will
Idk if by at will, you mean instantly.. but there is an option in ui or hud settings.
@@jonathancornett597 I mean making it a toggle where you could flip the scope to the side or pop it back up perhaps at will wasn't the best phrasing
As a Sevagoth enjoyer I have been enjoying Gas Sporothrix a lot, this mod now is just the cherry on top, thanks for the food DE.
taking a rare aoe sniper like this and combining it with Kullervo's ability to make anything AOE sounds.... fun >:)

Zephyr also makes anything AoE with her tornadoes. It's a smaller AoE than Kullervo can pull off, but it's mobile and doesn't depend on a certain group of enemies, it'll just pick up more passively.
Can't wait for an augment for his passive or 4 to affect his sniper combo. Then you just subsume over 1 and suddenly Kullervo is a sniper frame instead of melee.

one fun build i've seen with the sporothrix is to use it with a citrine infused with expedite suffering over her 4.
her 3 gives massively increased status chance and duration, meaning more status effects that do more total damage. combine with expedite suffering, this multiplies into absolutely insane bursts of damage.
Building a unknown weapon, then few days later, seeing you posted a video about that weapon and you present similar builds ... Youhou what a compliment for me ^^
It's pretty funny oneshotting disruption demolishers with this using Harrow. Since I focused my build on getting more crits (harrow + adrasa) I just stacked both Hammer shot and Vital sense.
Same thing but i was using it on eidolons and demolysts using avenger and that aura that damages you on kill.

Aah the Sporothrix grind, you reminded me of that particular horror. Thanks for all the work on this, I might now pull it out of the bottom of the arsenal where it went and has stayed straight after mastery.
I love the Sporothrix so much. I'm not typically a sniper rifle user in any game I play, but Sporothrix is absolutely one of my favorite guns in all of Warframe. Really need to work on my Nightwave and get that augment.
i saw this post on reddit recommending a gas build, tried it out and i'm shocked how effective it is(on harrow).
once i pop a squishy's head, i can ramp up on my deadhead on heavy units, and with the 200% crit, bonus to headshots, scope bonus, and the sporothrix modded for vital sense AND hammer shot, gas-cold(no reload speed because harrow) can make area denial AoEs that are knocking out entire hoardes AND their eximus units.
i wish gas could last longer than 3s(or 6 with duration), but it's still a massive help.
i do have trouble starting my ramp up in around the level 150-200 range, but after my first deadhead, it's a walk in the cake.
i usually try to make my loadout make some sense of one weapon to a faction.
primary vs corpus and bosses(radiation usually because alloy armor). instead i went gas-cold because i wanted corrosive heat on sidearm for grineer(and cascadia flare for emergency "gimme now" damage), and pure heat on my toilet brush(vs infested) because a cleric needs his shield and mace.
in the end, i use all 3 weapons against all factions, foregoing faction damage entirely, but it's worked out so far. i'm terrified of deep archimedea tho, so wish me luck

I been maining the Sporothrix for quite a while on my Harrow, because it goes so hard with my Infested fashion. And my excitment was unreal when i saw a Augment Mod for it

I had never heard about arcana bounties before this, but now I do know about them maybe I'll have a chance at this farm.
Sevagoth with Shadow Haze and the appropriate amount of ability strength to get at least 100% crit on Shadow Haze is how I've been playing with this weapon and it's augment.
as a gamer who loves the tiburon's autment mod critical precision...my neurons are activated.
It's been a month since i saw this video, i finally have completed the farm, now i can finally use this
The main blueprint has been sitting in my foundry for a long time now. Finding out its a very powerful weapon only deepens the sting

Another interesting synergy is with kullervos collective curse each enemy hit by the collective curse contributes to the shot combo

I always loved the sporothrix even when it was deemed bad a couple years ago. I'm so glad DE gave it an augment, it gives me an excuse to use it again
Thanks for another great video! A few observations, apologies if I missed them:
~With VV it's expoding on every contact, which is unusual and makes it really crazy with grouping.
~I think VV is adding more than 40% status. Sometimes I'm getting more status effects than can be explained otherwise.
~Firestorm's bonus is added before VV.

@@drothicyaaresh6915 Actually I think the answer is simpler. I was going by the Arsenal status chance, and VV isn't factored into that. The additional procs were happening infrequently enough that I don't think it's flat status. I'll check into it though.

My vote for Final Critical Chance is easily the Mesa augment Ballistic Bullseye. It’s already really good with odd weapons like the Cedo and it’s alt fire, but it’s absolutely insane with other weird weapons like the Sporothrix, since it applies to AOE attacks, but also the Alternox’s alt fire benefits from it for its entire lifespan.
I knew the *Alternox* wasn't Useless. 🤓
This and the komorex are some of my fav weapons, I just love snipers, and we really dont get a whole lot of em, they can be a ton of fun
Forgot To Mention *Arcana Bounties* Have No Match Making (Because you can't Match Make if you are Already In The *Cambion Drift* ) simply Adding this Bounty in The Necralisk will Lower It's Price. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Managed to get the main blueprint twice but i was more focused on levelling the pass for the augment as once the seasons gone, the augment will be gone than waiting for the right parts to come into the rotation and after seeing the amount of runs required it's understandable why I was close to burning myself out after so many runs.
I dont even remember farming specifically for the Sporothrix. Probably got it passively while doing those deimos bounties. Gonna give this a shot since i just unlocked the mod yesterday

Damn, the grind for this weapon is going to be a killer... Welp back to using the komorex.
I farmed this thing doing only Iso vaults. It was something I obtained mostly passively as I was farming for necramech parts. I think the last part for me was the receiver or something and just happened to see it on rotation so I queued up and found another guy who was also looking for it.
i JUST dissolved a riven for this damn thing cause ive never even heard of it 1600 hours into the game. impeccable timing, my friend
you might be able to get it back if you file a support ticket. just make sure you haven't used the resources you got from it
I'd love you to do a video on the Battacor. It is one of my absolute favorite weapons. Insane crit damage and a great mix of innate damage types to make it work for a myriad of builds. I pair it with Primary Deadhead and Arcane Avenger for insane headahot damage.
And that's before we talk about the OPTICOR LAZOR!
The unfortunate part of Battacor is innate Magnetic, but the rest of it's really good if you're willing to dump like 5 forma on a gun
@@QuantemDeconstructor I think innate magnetic is fine, actually. It a free element for the Galvanized CO mod so you're fee to build your mods however free you wish. And the crit damage and modifier are so insane out of the box that the raw damage potential from crit alone is incredible. Combine with the headshot modifier from your arcane it shreds even Grineer.
@@Raso719 I got one in progress and it's quite good, the magnetic status just shows up more often than I'd like, it's not like a melee where I can turn that into a grouping tool :(
oh man. I'm most interested in a precision based build so now the Sporothrix just came onto my radar.
after a few unsuccessful trade attempts, i turned the sporothrix augment mod and riven into endo and sold the fully crafted parts + blueprint that i spent hours grinding.
This seems very similiar to the Komorex, another low crit high status AoE sniper rifle with good riven disposition
Happy this thing is randomly good now, although I have no idea what to keep on my riven for it
My current is + damage, crit damage, and projectile speed, and - puncture, which sounds good usually, but I realize this is a weird gun lol
Edit: oh nice, the video goes over this LOL. I shouldn't have underestimated your issue coverage! I guess I'll swap out the vital sense for it - it's essentially a stronger version that also boosts ease of use, damage, and slash weight.

Time to start farming for this gun ive wanted for a year, + i also already got a riven for it so i hope i haven't accedently scrapped it for endo because i tend to do that ( NVM I STILL GOT IT YAY, with 2 weapon blueprints i got about a year ago without intention)

I love using this weapon and while its still far away im always praying for infested liches the infested need so much more of a impact and this weapon would be such a amazing pick.

We do have another explosive sniper it was released with the jupiter rework the komorex is a beast with a 20 round mag and built in viral explosions
Sporothix is one of my go too wepons, it does so much damage, it kills everything, and I made stack of plat off it, along with all of ther other crap out of the vaults.
I feel lucky cause every ones talking about how bad the farm is but when i actually was farming specifically for the last two parts i didnt get when i ran vault runs for other stuff, i managed to get one part on the first try and the other on the second attempt
Can you do a video about Parazon mods worth slapping on? Three slots seem not enough.
Citrine is worth taking on Sporothrix when you're against targets without a head and therefore cannot trigger headshot multipliers, such as murmur enemies.
I farmed sporothrix 2 years ago doing isolation vaults, harsh.

Could you do a video on what gun arcanes you should use in what case as sentinels can proc the needed element for the arcanes so they may be more viable

I don't know if there was some alert during Deimos release, somehow I have all the parts but the barrel and I really don't remember grinding for them.
I would drop galvanized aptitude for serration or vital sense. I personally don't see the need (I know it is said to be kinda a flex slot) many players have to put g. aptitude on everything, even more when it's only partial benefit.
Wish all snipers had access to this but so far it’s nice to have on this. One day Lanka will rise above the rest

I've had this thing for YEARS, and it is no joke the most powerful Sniper Rifle I own. My Sporthorix has just over 300% status with a Riven, and combining that with Galvy Aptitude, nothing is allowed to live.
I have it, I didn't farm it, I just like the necramech vaults
as an engineering student idk why this gives me comfort the most of sll other builds

as a returning player who stopped since like 2021 i was overwhelmed with builds not knowing whether vids are still valid or not i have to keep watching others to sure, but with these vids i can make my own builds
Technically, the kuva chakhurr fits that description. is a high damage single shot rifle that has an AOE and super good crit chance.
Just out of curiosity, how does this compare to the kuva chakkhurr?

Ya, this thing took like, 2 days for me to farm? Super fun though even before the new mod for it and easily one of my favourite weapons in the game. Even without building for crit it can still easily blitz through most steel path enemies.
Well now my komorex feels a little silly. Still going to use it though.

I play the weapon with no crit chance and depending on your set up and faction, obliterates. If you have a way to group enemies its even better thank to the augment.
I still don't know how the heck I have this weapon, never grinded arcana bounties or bought it from other players, I just noticed that I had it one day sitting ready to build in my foundry
My riven has slash, crit damage and -recoil, so it feels pretty nice, even without the augment.
Does this build works if I don't use Arcane Avenger?

I thought my Rubico could deal a lot of damage. And now this thing pops up with almost three times that damage plus aoe and status.
Guess now I have a reason to farm them arcana vaults.

Best thing I ever did, this sniper is one of the best in the game for status and just pure damage. Even more so with its augment
Sorry for real dumb question but what option makes pathing trails (0:55-1:20) so easy to spot and follow?
I made no special change for that. You may want to check if you're on older or reduced graphics settings, or play with low visual effects intensity.
i farmed the damaged necramech weapons back when you could only farm them from the vaults.
hundreds and hundreds of runs. it was horrible. still somehow didn't have the sporothrix set though

don't forget you can get the bonus critical tier up from Vigilante mod sets. this is easy gain with vigilante set mod on your sentinel weapons.
Well it only works on crits
@@noahedenborg4221 it also make non-crit hit into yellow critical hit if it proc. the sets just up your white damage > yellow, yellow > orange, and orange > red crit.

Grants an X% chance for critical hits from primary weapons to gain an additive +100% critical chance (effectively increasing the "tier" of your crit- yellow becomes orange, orange becomes red, etc). Does not affect non-critical hits
As braindead not aimer, I prefer cotrine's critstals. Playing a long mission like sp circuit, I give up on headshots after the 10th cycle or so :3
what is arcana bounties？
Punch Thru Multi-Explosions?
Its a big question: does hitting multiple enemies result in each one exploding?
or does it behaving like 'traditional' aoe weapons and only explode on the first?
and IF it is the former case, can this be used with a grouping or magnetize WF ability?
I tested with Mag's magnetize and yes since it has punch through it does cause multiple explosions. I even tried this with shiver contagion just for fun, look like it was about to crash my game lol

I learned about this weapon when I randomly got a riven for it.... and promptly recycled it
DE should increase the gap between high and low tier units giving weapons like this a rol instead of just making everything into an aoe launcher

also DE: keeps making aoe stuff that oneshot the room
Honestly this. Or at least change heavy units in a way where tank buster weapons like the Chakkuhr or the Sporothrix can shine
@@AnymMusic YES, weapon types are literally an aesthetic choice nowadays, ALL weapons have the same dps even the heavy units at SP die in 1 second or less
i remember playing a game called ZMR that actually had this type of enemy variation, the heavier unit WERE actually strong and dangerous while the fodder died with quickly
I find Aptitude unnecessary in most game modes besides Disruption, so instead I'd recommend Firestorm. It actually scales with the extra range on VV and explodes entire rooms.
The sporothrix is strong but the komorex will always be my favorite sniper
