Thanks for putting up these series, haven't played since burning crusade and really exited for classic with much more experience from other games and your vids have been really entertaining. Can't wait to see the rest of the videos hopefully before release xd
New player from Brasil here! Played only two weeks in a private server to prepare for classic. Your videos are top content man, learned a lot, great work. Keep it up and the views shall come!
there are formulas for hp regen from spirit, however, unless your a warrior or a rogue, its not really important since you have either heals or the ability to deal dmg that can heal you or your a hunter. for rogues, you gain 0.5*spirit + base regen for hp. warriors is 0.8*spirit + base regen. this is why while leveling, or in min max pvp, you should have a spirit set as a rogue while stealthed, so you can heal up faster when reseting the fight in 1v1. as a warrior, inbetween fights, you can swap over to spirit set, to save money on food/bandages while leveling. both of which, are not REQUIRED, however is possible given the above math.
Hey great video, thank you. Are you sure about the 54 int per 1% crit for paladins? Just tested it on a private server and it seems to be at around 29 there. As stated in classicwow.live/guides/46/basic-stats-sheet it is still unknown. Don't we have data from the beta to confirm a value? Looking forward to the next video about resistance :)
@@tJustSoup I'm really not good at maths but can attacks do decimal dmg then? Like 15.75 dmg. Srry if that makes no sense I struggle to understand the attack power system
Agility does NOT increase wand damage for casters. Spell power of the same type as the wand (shadow damage wand uses shadow spell power for example), will increase the damage dealt per wand cast by 100% of the spell damage stat amount. For example a warlock with +50 shadow damage with a wand that deals 100-200 shadow damage will now deal 150-250 instead. The faster the wand, the more dps this adds to the wand, much like weight/sharpening stones with melee weapons and scopes with ranged weapons like guns/bows/crossbows (not throwing weapons).
Also hunters do not gain melee AP from agility (only strength) and wands do gain crit chance from agility, which I neglected to mention in my previous comment.
I still have a question I missed in this overview regarding mana regeneration: I've read that intellect increases your base mana regeneration as this is a percentage of your total mana, is this actually true and if so, is there an exact number?
there is a video about Spirit Health Regneration heere on youTube your health Regeneration even get a +50% increase when your character "/sit" (out of combat, execps trolls)
Thanks, . where are the cheat sheets? can I print them on paper like in the old days. I know you said below the description. But I don't know where the description is? All I see is sources. also I am not gonna know how to view responses to this comment :( so idk why I bothered to ask. Super Great Video, I need information so I know what gear to throw away forever and what to keep. I am a warrior Tank and I still have my brutal armor HELP me clean out my bank. I have 5 leg pieces. Teach me stuff so I can sell all my legs and keep the one or two I need, what is better, IDK I may never know and not knowing what to wear to the instance is hurting my head.
Agility is okay for Ret Pally because it gives them crit, and the armor and dodge are of course fine, but I'm not sure if it's something that should be prioritized. If you can get straight up +crit chance, that would be better. Prot Pally as well likes some agility because of armor and dodge. But both need a certain amount of hit chance, and then need to prioritize stamina and strength.
I love this style of video
Being able to just look at stats and know these values makes gearing choices so much easier
This is one of the best wow info vids ive seen. Glad to clear some things up again, now that I'm back into classic for hc!

great info....thanks
If 14ap = 1dps then does getting an item with +1 AP actually do anything? Up until you reach +14ap do you actually do more dmg?
Yes, because it effectively contributes to your damage, it's just scaled off of your DPS (average weapon damage divided by weapon speed)
@@tJustSoup I'm really not good at maths but can attacks do decimal dmg then? Like 15.75 dmg. Srry if that makes no sense I struggle to understand the attack power system
@@Meeach They can't, but they'll get rounded, and yeah AP is definitely weird, no worries hahaha

Yeah Int has something to do with regeneration, but if I'm not mistaken the amount is somewhat negligible.
is the second one out yet?
there is a video about Spirit Health Regneration heere on youTube

Video Name: "Wow classic - Stats and the stuff they do - Spirit! (health regen)"

Could someone please make an addon explaining this in game?
Does agile not help pally?
