I just found your channel and subscribed, in addition to all the great info you provided on Kotor, I was wondering if during your month long stay you had the opportunity to take the cable car ride, I heard the views are beautiful. Also, we are going to be there for one day with the cruise we're on in late May of 2025, what can you advise for us to see in our brief stay there?
@@JasonandMelissaTravel We didn’t have enough time to get any gelato but thanks for the advice. Just a little shopping for shoes, lunch and grocery store to pick up some prosciutto 😊
Coming to Kotor by cruise ship in a couple of weeks and already know I want to go back thanks to your video! We might also come back for a long stay, so it might be useful if you talk about how much it cost for accommodation, or various things during your stays?
You are going to love Kotor. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen. Concerning cost of living, you might find the cost of living video we did about our time in Kotor useful. Of course, I’m happy to answer any additional questions you might have. Thank you so much for watching our video! We loved Kotor, went in the fall and stayed three days. We drove up to the top of the Serpentine Road (hairy!) and took the cable car to the top as well - stunning views. We also took a boat ride around the Bay of Kotor, to the caves and the islands - as well as the submarine hideaways in the cliffs. Awesome place, could have stayed much longer.
It sounds like you had a fantastic trip! We really enjoy your time there. I mean, you saw those views. Simply amazing! Thank you so much for watching our video!
You will love your time in Kotor! I honestly think you can do pretty much everything in 2-3 days. Make sure you go to La Catedral and ask for Uros. Please tell home we said hello. Also stop by Marshals for the most amazing artisan gelato. 🍨 One more thing, make the short hike up to the Cheese Shop. Amazing views and warm homemade bread and fresh goat cheese. Enjoy! Thanks for watching our video. Hook up with us on instagram. We would love to hear all about your trip! @jasonandmelissatravel
Thanks for the kindness! Even with all the cats roaming around there were lots of people out and about with their dogs. Almost all the restaurants had outdoor seating and people would have their pups with them. So I’d say very dog friendly! Thanks again for watching our video!
Be careful when you take a taxi from the airport to Kotor. I was there for 2 weeks ago and the taxi driver wanted 80 euros for 9 kilometers. The city is really beautiful.
That’s great! You will have a great time! Food prices have a wide range as far as prices go. However, you can typically expect to pay 10-15 Euro for most meals at the restaurants. Beers were around 3 Euro and cocktails were about 7 Euro. Wine was rather inexpensive and Montenegrin wine was pretty good. Some restaurants you should try are Incontro, La Catedral, Restaurant City, BBQ Tanjga, and Marenda Steakhouse. These were our personal favorites and we tried a lot of restaurants the month we were there. Oh! You also must go to Marshal’s for some of the best gelato. Skip the others in old town and go to Marshal’s. There isn’t even a comparison. It’s that much better. Have a great time and let me know if you have any other questions as you continue planning. Thanks for watching our video!

Will be there in a few hours. Thanks for the information
Have fun! Definitely go by Marshall’s gelato. Skip all the other ones in old town. They are not near the quality of Marshall’s. 🍻

It really is! The view from on top of the mountain was unbelievable! ❤️
It looks stunning! Thanks for the video. Is it a dog-friendly place, at all?

@@JasonandMelissaTravel that’s really good to know, thanks! My pooch would love all that hiking - and all those cats! 😅
I bet your pup would love all the cats! 😂

Sorry this happened to you. It really is a beautiful city though. Thanks for watching our video. ❤️
How do I get to kotor from Podgorica please?
You can take a bus. They run fairly regularly.
I’m going there next year with my brother (12th - 16th May) 😊
May I ask how much drinks and food is?
Thanks
