Wow! How fortunate you both are… happy travels!
Thank you and thanks so much for watching our video! ❤️
You guys were so lucky to get Frank for an entire month!🥰
We honestly did not want to leave because of Frank. It broke our hearts that we had to leave her behind. 😔 But we sure loved our month with her!
Really appreciate these videos as we get ready to travel long term.
Glad you like them! Are you going to be posting on social media or on RUclips? We’d love to follow along! Is there any other information you’d like us to include in these videos? Thanks again for watching!
I am in my mid 20s. Dreaming of (and working for it :D) nomad life when I retire. Thanks for great explanation of details.
I think that’s great that you are already working towards your travel goal. Full time travel is such an amazing experience. If you ever have any questions let me know. Thank you for watching our videos!
Great video. Kotor is on our list for next year. Enjoy Saranda we spent a month there last September and loved it
I hope you enjoy the natural beatific Kotor as much as we did. That place is so incredibly gorgeous. We LOVE Saranda. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you so much for watching our video!
Great video. Thank you. Please advise on walkability and availability of vegetarian food at restaurants on future videos.
I will absolutely start doing this. Thanks for the suggestion and for watching our video!
@@JasonandMelissaTravel Thank you.
Thank you for making this video.. Can you please help. Is there a bus from tivat airport to Prcanj?
Thank you for watching our video. I’m not sure about the bus schedule between those two cities. You might want to check Flix Bus or Rome 2 Rio to see if a bus goes to that city.
@@JasonandMelissaTravel thank you. your videos are helpful. We will certainly go to the restaurant and ice cream place you recommended
I live in Montenegro, 300 meters from one of the big, new luxury resort marinas. I've been to 40+ countries, Central America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia. This country fits my personality best. Electricity 24-45 euro, T-mobile wifi internet, tv, phone, 35euro, water 7euro, monthly costs. We have five cats inside, two outside. All fixed.
We are searching out the same thing you have already found! We loved the affordability of Kotor. We also loved all the cats for sure. If you haven’t already, check out our video on Kotor. We actually have a cool segment dedicated to the cats. Thanks for watching. 🙏
@@JasonandMelissaTravel I'm a American. Lived here 13 yrs, been to Kotor a 100 times, slight exaggeration😅, been up to fortress twice, last time, went down side where small ancient church, some ruins are.
You definitely picked a beautiful country!
Something to consider about Kotor, lots of rain during winter months. So, living there, all year long, maybe, challenging for some people. We live near Herceg-Novi, when we have sun here, looking towards the mountain range, nothing but dark clouds in direction of Kotor.
Many big supermarkets, home stores, computer stores, furniture stores, strip malls, restaurants, cafes, everywhere.
Great video. Did you find there was enough English speakers in the area for you to get by?
Thank you so much. Yes. Most of the people at the restaurants spoke enough English for us to communicate. However, not so much at the grocery stores. We needed to rely on Google Translate for those instances. Overall though, it was fairly easy to talk with people. Thanks again for watching our video!
@@JasonandMelissaTravel Thank you. I am an American and currently live in Ecuador. My Spanish is serviceable and I speak a little high school French, but Montenegrin is probably out of my reach! 🤪
We are also working on our Spanish. Montenegrin was quite a challenge!
That's a bloody bargain considering a next-door Croatia and its prices!
It absolutely was. Everything was cheaper than Croatia. Especially our accommodation. We really appreciate you watching our video. Thank you.
How expensive is a dinner out, say at the pizza place?
Dinner for two with pizza, wine, and an appetizer was around $30 US. Please keep in mind that we ordered the larger pizza and it fed us 3 times. So a pretty fair value. The pasta place La Catedral would be around $35-40 US for appetizer, 2 pasta dishes and a bottle of wine. We also each had leftover pasta to take home. Hope this helps! If you have any other questions please let me know. Thank you for watching!
Just subscribed ! Thks for the useful info :) Btw, do you still hv the link to your AirBnB ? I am interested in the location (not the cute cat, which will be a nice bonus though) 😊
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing! The location of the AirBnB is perfect. Very close to the bus station and just outside the North Gate of old town. There is also a market about 200 meters away. Here is the link to the AirBnB.

@@JasonandMelissaTravel. Thks for the link! How far ahead do you usually book your AirBnBs ? Have a good trip across Europe - I will be following your adventures :)
We typically book our AirBnB’s around 3 months in advance. However, we book around 6 months in advance if we are traveling to a location during the high tourist season. Hope this helps! Thanks again for watching. Please ask any questions you have!
