  • We have been traveling full-time for six years now, and every time we visit a new country such as Montenegro we evaluate whether or not it is somewhere we could live as an expat. We had never heard of Montenegro until just a few years ago, and now it is one of our favorite countires. Montenegro has so much to offer the expat: fascinating history, spectacular scenery, interesting culture, and reasonable prices.     Everyone lives a different lifestyle, and it's impossible to know exactly how much you would be spending in Montenegro. Here is a sample montly budget for us if we were living in Montenegro, based on our personal lifestyle (in US dollars, for two people):
