Alexis is a narcissist. She thinks she’s superior to everyone and then when she gets hit with the truth she can’t deal with it and attacks or plays victim !! Poor husband! And staff!!
Exactly my thought
100%
The husband enables her. He needs to grow a pair!
That poor guy married a toxic mess and his business was ruined as a result... those poor children will be traumatised for 18 years, until they are old enough to escape that monster. (Hopefully they did not inherit her mental issues and the father divorced her and has full-time custody of his kids.)
@@658Chrissy Too little, too late.
Alexis is so delusional. She doesn’t want her stylists opinion, but at the same time she wants them to run the salon for her. That’s not how this works. Also saying she wants to get a hairdressing license just to basically rub it in her staffs face?! What??
Has degrees up the wazoo but isn't educated in the slightest.
Alexis is putting minimum effort into the salon and then gets annoyed that everyone is asking her to be more involved because she's busy with "more important things".
The way she sees learning the trade as simply something to throw in her staffs faces speaks VOLUMES about her.
I feel so bad for the husband he obviously really wanted this to work it’s a shame they went out of business the wife is at fault
Don't be fooled. He is a toxic saboteur.
@@famprima nah his slanty eyed ho is the problem. People like her have entitlement issues.
The husband is very humble and kind, I don’t understand how he got married to that woman! She is rude and annoying
It always goes like that 🤦🏻♀️
Its so sad to see a team with such talented people being not appreachiated and held back. Good on them their leaving, hope they have the most success out of it
Tim seems like a cool fella. He needs a new wife though
To put it mildly!! Poor that kid, having to deal with her as the mim..!!😢😨🤦♂️
We should find out because this was like 20 years ago.
I think based on what this reality television show has displayed of her, she might want to consider searching for an employment position at another business where she has more experience in.
He's the definition of an enabler. Just because the wife appears more vocal, it doesn't save the husband from the fact that he takes no action and tells employees to put up with a bad boss.
Alexis: I graduated summa cumulate
Me: oh congratulations.... At what capacity?
Thank you Banijay Reality for uploading these superb episodes :)
x2
I felt really sorry for Tabatha. The transformation of the salon was beautiful.. She didn't need that spoilt, intitled, uppity person saying she's disappointed she didn't get a new fridge! That was an absolutely rude! Plus when the staff were brought to her house as VIP's she was disappointed. She definitely thinks they are below her! couldn't stand that
an MBA is useless if you can't make good use of it. alexis's academic arrogance is misplaced and so disrespectful to the expertise of these hairdressers
I'm sorry but the moment when a boss does not respect their employees opinion in a business, not corporate world, BUSINESS, they are gonna sink fast
Wow what a bitch
100%
Alexis needed to stay home and do the books and let Tim run the business.
Tim doesn’t know any better, he’s useless
That’s what I was thinking!
Alexis basically failed the business. She clearly has some kind of trauma and mental health issues. Her need to control is so overwhelming her it’s palpable. I used to have a boss in a salon who behaved exactly like her. It’s unsettling being around such high level neurosis. Please get some therapy Alexis otherwise your child will feel your pains too.
Thought exactly the same thing
She’s a complete narcissist
It looks a lot like narcissistic personality. Easy to fool people in the corporate world where you can simply spout meaningless buzzwords whilst hiding your lack of real contribution behind layers of bureaucracy and push responsibilities onto your subordinates but in a practical service providing, small business she was exposed for the empty vessel she really is.
Alexis has no business sense, she just knows how to pass exams in college.
This woman Alexis is DELUSIONAL and was infuriating to watch.
She really annoyed me to no end she doesn’t deserve success she’s horrible
If you have someone like Alexis in Management there is nothing you can do to make your Business not go down the drain.not the best stylists, the most beautiful salon or the best spot in the city.
Well said miss porkchop
Tabitha’s style is so timeless! Everything she is wearing is so stylish. Im watching this in 2023:-)
Tabitha is a LEGEND! 🍀 Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺
You gotta read her autobiography. It’s fascinating. She is one bad boss lady 😁
@@user-zx5kq6hs9d Tabatha would read you to filth for calling her legend and misspelling her name in one sentence.
O.... boo who , if that’s all you are worried about .... She Tabatha wouldn’t care less about my spelling you dipstick.@@MeretrixTricks She is a living Legend🦋🍀😂🙏🙏
2024. Love it. Need more episodes.
Not surprised they were closed down within a year of this episode
Really?!
I just looked up some of the reviews and they tended to be "stylists are fantastic, management is appalling"
They did not deserve a staff or a business.
She is so spoiled and think she is so much better, What a snob😡
It’s unnerving how much need she has to tell everybody that she is better than they are. She has learned nothing at all and she respects nobody. No wonder they didn’t succeed .
I wonder if she flaunts her credentials because she's afraid of looking within and finding nothing
Jesus woman, it's not about what you do or what you are able to do. It's about respecting the work of others, it doesn't matter if it's cutting hair or cleaning the floor, it takes effort, just respect that.
Alexis is a nightmare, no wonder that place failed.
We know who wears the shoes in the house. She does
The man should restart everything ALONE, WITHOUT the wife
man? i doubt he is
@@vanillaggl ahahahah
Let’s be real cutting hair is a talent it’s not as easy as it looks and any stylist that makes it look simple has major talent
Alexis going to beauty school would be a nightmare lol I just know she'd start parading around the salon acting like she knew everything because she practiced on a couple of doll heads
😂
She’s speaking about her high end diploma I’m pretty sure the institution she studied before has watched this episode they would had think twice giving her a diploma. Education starts respecting and appreciating other professionals.
Just goes to show you don’t need to be intelligent in corporate America.
Right! All these accolades but still can’t run a business
Bullies do better in corporate settings according to research @@fashunpuss6279
They had extremely talented hairdressers which are very difficult to find in the US!
An MBA, a degree or any other academic certification doesn't actually equal intelligence and it certainly doesn't mean a person has common sense and empathy! Clearly this woman is only interested in herself and her own self-importance! I couldn't work for someone like her, and her husband needs to grow a pair!!!
The stuff coming out of Alexis' mouth, WOW. Sad to see Tabatha getting pissed off. As for the ending, well I won't spoil it for anybody 😅
So much potential that one narcissist single-handedly is intent on taking down. Appears that the business feeds her personality needs.
I feel so much for the amazing staff and the downtrodden husband.
It's incredible the damage that one overbearing, moronic narcissist can do. Magna Cum Laude does not mean you're smart.
Let’s hope the staff are all doing well far away from that woman
alexis decided to use the hair dressing lesson as a "oh see, it's not that hard. look i can do it too" instead of using the exercise for what it was meant to be, to show them its precise work and that they obviously know what they're doing.
It sounded like she thought that cosmetology education could be done in two or three afternoons.
She doesn’t sound or act like anyone who is educated, her logic is all over the place and I think she should fire herself
They had a dream team of stylists. They were lucky and had no idea
It seems that Kevin and Carol should be co-managers with just Tim as the soul owner.
Soul owner!!!! I think you mean sole owner!! 😂😂😂
Being pregnant doesn’t give you a bitch pass.😅
34:49 complaining about the fridge blew my mind omfg she has problems !!! Rude and entitled
Does anyone else get ticked that a lot of these owners use Tabitha to get their renovations done? Owners should have to meet certain goals before qualifying for any renovations, that way the ones that are willing to put in the work, get the reward. Not these morons that just use Tabitha and still eff up their staff & businesses!
Well the network is making money off of them so it's only fair they get something out of it too lol
How is Alexis boohooing like a baby victim then suddenly she's telling Tabatha how she's been managing CEOs and complaining about the staff without any crying?
False?
Edit: and then Tabatha hands Alexis her arse on a platter 🤣🤣
There is a reason why she was no longer doing that.
Thank you for all the uploads. It is appreciated. AND... I love Tabatha! (No hugs)
Looked up the salon, does not shock me it has closed down! If Alexis is like that as a boss I feel so sorry for her kids!
Felt empathy for the receptionist. I’m dyslexic just recently started a new job. My dyslexic brain is wired differently I get things eventually and once I get it can often be more efficient than others but often not before people get fed up with me.
I really felt for the receptionist too. Alexis targetted her to be a scapegoat
Me too. They were clipping her wings every move she made. I also felt it insensitive to tell her she was on a probationary period in front of all the others. She looked close to tears and I don't blame her. Poor girl 😢
I’m kind of annoyed with the number of comments feeling bad for the husband. It takes two to tango! Just because she is the more vocal of the two doesn’t mean he isn’t fully supporting her decisions.
Alexis isnt s nice person
At every turn, Alexis just doesnt get it
ALL the stylists should be able to do each other’s hair whenever they have a break AND after hours if they have time for each other. Stylists with great hair themselves is ALWAYS a big boost for a salon. It is NOT a treat, it is NOT a pick up boost, it is NOT a seniority issue - it is MARKETING.
She thinks that because she’s an owner she can talk down to people she won’t ever be a success treating people that way
She belongs in corporate America... taking the lunch order... then the flack for getting it wrong.
There are countries that believe that everyone should have to spend time in the military. I think the American version should be that everyone needs to live a couple years in a blue collar position. Not just the work but the life. How are you going to be a decent boss if you don't know what your business actually entails? Having a McCrappy job as a teenager isn't enough.
Alexis is so annoying 🙄
She is arrogant and thinks she is above the employees who are absolutely wonderful. She blames everyone but herself.
Wow! What a ridiculous woman. She's a plonker!
I can’t be the only one who did a Google search:
Frédéric Fekkai (born 1958) is a French celebrity hairstylist and entrepreneur in the beauty industry.
You’re welcome!
Haha yes! I had to look up the name too 😂
To think that he would turn up at her house and that he would know who she even is is staggering
The women owner is on another planet. Also that young receptionist isn’t right for reception, her posture, facial expressions and attitude.
Yeah she doesn’t seem right for a front desk situation
I'd say she feels defeated and that is why she is the way she is. Everytime Alexis deals with her she is talking down to her or taking over her position. Also she has had no training and she has only been there a month but from the sounds of it has only worked about three days on the desk, Alexis did the rest. If you recall the staff say that she has been 'yelled' at 16 times in the last four weeks. I would back away and go quiet myself as well She was fighting a losing battle from the beginning and she knows it. No matter what she does there will be no pleasing Alexis. Alexis needs someone there untrained so that she can feed her ego by putting them down, seriously messed up woman with sever control issues.
The attitude of that woman is astounding to me 😲 the entitlement is real !!she's delusional
The only place I’ve ever wanted to know about. Unsurprisingly, I found this:
Christopher Hill Salon Where Are They Now
Unfortunately, Christopher Hill Salon is now shut down. There is no information on where they are or what they are doing now. The salon was brought back to life for a little while but they were struggling too much to keep afloat for long. Tim and Alexis Byk, took over the salon only a year and a half before they needed help. When more information becomes available this article will be updated.
Thank you so much for a new episode!
Update the business is now closed turns out that man was whipped.
Whipped?
@@ConsciousEntrepeneur Its short for another expression; pu$$y whipped. It basically means that he does anything she says, and supports everything she says/does, even to his own detriment.
@@ConsciousEntrepeneur pussy whipped
@@ConsciousEntrepeneur let his woman walk all over him.
Pussy whipped to be exact.
Alexis should just stay home and raise her kids, she is mean.
I wouldn't want her near my children, maybe if we just give Alexis a dead budgie to corporate manage hmm
Poor kids!!!
I feel for her kids... I have a narcissist for a mother and trust me it's horrid. She's definitely a narcissist.
She is sooooo arrogant!!
Wow this is the quickest I’ve disliked the owners! They do not deserve to be successful - their poor children
Tabitha, it must be so disappointing with your hard work when people can not correct their destructive behavior. I feel sorry for the staff and clients alike.
No experience in hairstyling...this should be interesting 😂
I never understand when people with no experience in the industry open a salon 😂 business on its own isn’t easy Never mind hair dressing it’s a difficult industry
Banijay Reality the real GOAT coming through with new episodes!!
Tim’s great, she’s a nutter… I would have quit so quickly.
Tim will always be broke … wonder why
The receptionist needs to dress and style herself better, she is the first face people see and first impressions are important!! She doesn’t look professional at all.
She doesn’t sound like she has worked a single day, I dont know where she worked before but clearly she’s not fresh out of school
She looks mostly moronic.
Yeh she definitely looked unprofessional
I thought "crazy Asian" was some kind of bad, stereotypical shit. Damn; she is on so many levels showing me that "crazy Asian" is real.
That poor guy married a toxic mess and his business was ruined as a result... those poor children will be traumatised for 18 years, until they are old enough to escape that monster. (Hopefully they did not inherit her mental issues and the father divorced her and has full-time custody of his kids.)
She really thinks that picking up the skill and the diploma that's WAY too important to her.
I've worked in retail for about 10 years now. And honestly, just 'cause you learned/know how to use the register doesn't make you a cashier.
As a ex stylist not just anyone can go to school to learn to cut hair its a gift you either got it or you dont, the little wifey has some nerve she won't change has a chip on her shoulder and hubby is a wimp.
Business wont last feel for that staff.
They have no idea how to run a business will a bus driver just walk into a clothing store and say i bought the business im running the show with no experience its a slap in the face.
oh my word, the husband seemed to be the only one who wanted to change!!! his wife has a serious "its all about me" complex
Bruh how the hell is he even married to her? She managed to piss me off so quickly what a shame, feel extremely sad for him lol
Never seen this episode love Tabatha
Christopher Hill with sharkbites. Are these people real? Did they work in corperat jobs where they told professionals how to run their bussines? 😮
It appears that Christopher Hill Salon is now shut down. There is no information on where they are or what they are doing now. The salon was brought back to life for a little while but they were struggling too much to keep afloat for long. Tim and Alexis Byk, took over the salon only a year and a half before they needed help.
This show proves all of the stylists are highly skilled. I hope they went on to work for salons that deserve their talent ❤
Alexis should go back to corporate America 😂
The wife has come from a culture that believes that people with a degree are upper class and if you don't have one you are low. Her parents are to blame just pray for the kids that she us raising iv left a job that had an Asian owner with the same problem the good partner hired me and due to the asshole nature of his partner they had a massive turnover off staff. My breaking point was 1 week after my mum passed away he screamed at me for changing bed linen... Lets just say that you don't piss of a Croatian he got told exactly what I thought of him and to f' off nothing worse than when people think they are better than other people.
People say Tabatha is cold. I think she is just fare she is brilliant in her trade and love what she's doing. And the way she stood up for the stylist it's beautiful. 😊
I love watching Tabitha , she sees immediately what fails these businesses. She has to be hard, or people wouldn't listen . None of us like to be told our faults, she does an incredible job helping these businesses to succeed. This episode I couldn't believe how arrogant and stupid the owners were, they had great staff the only toxic thing was the pathetic owners...can't help people who don't want to help themselves
SÒOOOOO....ENTITLED.....ONE DAY THIS EXPERIENCE WILL HAUNT HER.......KARMA COME FORTH....❤❤❤❤❤❤
I think Alexis get a high by firing people....
Alexis, she's a jumped up know it all when in fact she knows nothing about this business.
Alexis is like my sister. She thinks she is so much smarter than everyone. Everyone is beneath her.
The salons closed down so that tells you something 😂
The way she went to grab the keys from Tabatha at the end XD. She isn't going to change, she wants things done *her* way
Minute 39:57, the receptionist looks negative. And if she stayed, hopefully she learnt how to dress at work.
I’m always surprised on this programme that the stylists etc wear whatever they want. Here in Britain salons either have a uniform or they have a dress code- like all black or all white or something. I can’t think of a salon, high end or low rent, that I’ve been to where everyone dresses whatever way they chose, oops, I mean choose
@@clareshaughnessy2745 Yeh it's the same here in Australia
I'd look negative too with Alexis in the same room as me
Guess they don't teach people skills at USC.... LOL
It is rare for non hairstylist owners to be successful. Alexis had the mix,she had talented staff who really wanted to succeed but she did not recognise they needed to work as a team.
Wow Alexis she is the problem.
These two are beyond even the icon that is Tabatha methinks 😮
Annoys me when these people who don’t deserve it get every opportunity there’s so many other more deserving salons
@@scouser2010ify exactly 💯💜
Hairdressing is not an easy job and as a manager she needs to respect that.
She had some dam good staff in that salon their loss…
Tabatha,i like the way you help people you are the Top and got a big heart, and go strait to tha point.
She hides behind her education, which evidently hasn't taught her not to buy a business you know nothing about
Whoa, another one I've never seen so soon! Fabulous!
Right ? I’ve never seen this one either
Too bad the business failed. The employees were so wonderful.
Yah but the boss sucked
@@mitra2830 Definitely. She is arrogant, pretentious, and unwilling to take advice.
@@dizzman5546she was sort of whiney that it wasn't some celebrity stylist or glitzy party people. She seemed so resentful that she might actually have to associate with the staff.

Oh my god... alexsis.. with her..
"""ILL JUAT GO TO BEAUTY SCHOOL.. AND ILL JUST LEARN HOW TO CUT HAIR """
BEING A HAIRDRESSER IS NOT A SKILL YOU CAN LEARN..
It's like being an artist.
It's either in you naturally..
Or It's NOT !!!!
ANYBODY
Who seems to think EVERYBODY is capable of being a hairdresser , is hugely mistaking
She is such a narcissist.
Oh dear lord......that corporate woman......
Everything is combat with this woman. She is unable to meet people as colleagues who are working together. It’s as though she feels that if she doesn’t ‘win’ she is defeated. What she doesn’t see is that they are compadres
A is very immature.
I've seen those crocodile tears before when i confronted a prior manager and listed and pointed out how I was made to feel. The damage lasts for years. I couldn't breathe. That manager left after me and another staff member put in complaints. Six months of building a column later... Thought I was doing reasonably well. New guy comes in, moves some of my column to his husband that he hired.... destroyed my confidence. Left as the 6th staff member to leave in six months since the new manager guy started . I was making mistakes more than ever as I couldn't think anymore. I was just a hollow shell greeting people and doing hair. Legit the guy said he wanted to tear me down to build me back up again. Like this man made me feel uneasy from the get go. I definitely was trying to listen to this narcissistic asshole but very hard to do when I was being disrespected left right and centre and from the get go. My clients that wanted me to do their hair were being discretely moved to another column without there say, by the receptionist no doubt gushing under the new manager. Everything at every level repulsed me. I am glad to be out of that hell hole now. I dunno how the place is doing financially now... Think mostly filled with staff from London now. 😅 I mean if that works go ahead. A friend that helped me out when going self employed then tried to take advantage of me. I'm just like wtf why are there such disgusting business predators out there. My friend at the time was going into massive debt with no money coming in too soon. I bet she would have pushed me into a similar position in time. She sounds a bit like alexis too in some ways I'm now working part time and doing mobile hair. Gradually making more money, and am doing really well compared to where I was. I have a business and although it not a full time income it is a success and is bound to get better. Im not sure i want to go back to a salon and work under someone. I now have myself and a business to protect first and foremost.
Poor man having a narc wife.
