Ahh, I remember the days when trucks were trucks and not full on luxury mobiles. Keeping up with the Joneses has cost all of us.

      Have 2021 Lariat 3.5
Great truck, ordered the platinum 3 weeks ago, can’t wait for the new truck to come in.

I emigrated to the USA in 1977. I remember decades of excellent USA made pick up truck rolling across this great country, affordable for the working man, and now I see cost cutting and the big three etc just gouging us. Its sad

Every time the UAW gets a raise.
The F150 price goes up $4000.
Thats great for them, but for the consumer it stinks.

2025 trucks won’t be released until later this year. This is not accurate and see nothing online to support it.

Before you buy a Ford, please consider its depreciation. I purchased a 2023 XLT, 302A, 5.0 V8, Sport for $64,000 OTD. It is 5K miles now. It is great and I love it. However, couple dealers offered me between $40,000 to $43,000. How come does it depreciate that fast?

Depreciation on all new vehicles is like this, especially ones that are often sold with discounts like f150s. The msrp sale times of the last few years are a bit of an oddity

Depreciation at a dealer for a trad-in isn’t considered real depreciation. That’s just a bad idea. Why trade in and take the shave??? Sell privately and you will get far more for it. You become the wholesaler when you trade in to a dealer. It’s better to be like a dealer and get the full market value.
So please don’t confuse trade in value for true used market value which will be thousands higher.

@@PearlHarborization No problem 👍 I think the used market is still pretty strong. But I’m concerned that the looming credit crisis will result in expensive used vehicles becoming harder to move one day since a mildly used truck will still command a high price, used vehicles cannot get manufacturer financing which is always far better than financing for used vehicles via your bank. I do believe that will one day impact depreciation. And of course, anyone who paid over sticker during Covid is being hit with bigger depreciation than anyone….unless it’s a TRX/Raptor/Hellcat kind of vehicle.

Shure would like a company that thinks of reliability first. Had a ford head gasket leaks and engine management problems cured me of fords so i bought a chevy lifter failures and torque converter failure cured me of chevys forever. So next will be a toyota so i gave up and built my own frankentruck. A 89 chevy 1 ton frame a LS w/ holly injection tbi with a 4L60 trans and a 55 coe body, tilting rollback bed with fold down sides and bombay tailgate. Don’t waste your money on new crap. build your dream truck. This thing will last a lifetime and my i surance is low

Ford needs to figure out how to sell all these “new” 2023 trucks sitting on dealer lots. Much less 2025’s.

    No mention of real payload.
That was the downfall of the f150
    Simply not enough REAL payload!!
Ford is great at quoting 3400 lbs payload.
Then showing only 1200 worthless pounds payload. On the reality sticker found on the trucks.

The only shock is how crap the engines are now.
The V8 in all these newer Trucks were more economical and lasted longer than the Turbo V6, 4cyl crap.
The Toyota Tundra was way more reliable with the V8..
All these new cars are mostly built in Mexico. Poor quality control.
