Saved the day!! Prevented me from ripping them off the wall and throwing in dumpster lol.
Now apparently some people get jams or tangles where it won't pull, but luckily for mine this wasn't the case.

Sometimes opening the slats to a horizontal position helps raising/lowering them.

I cannot get the blinds to get lowered. When the painter was here, the blind was removed. Now it’s a good 12” from the bottom. I’ve watched the video but it’s not working. Any help is appreciated.

Try adjusting the blinds using the stick. Set them horizontally so you can see out and try pulling them down. Sometimes the mechanism catches.

@@fixthishouse3303 Mine are brand new, but completely stuck: moving only up. I tried different ways. Nothing works. I am afraid to break them. I will need to go tomorrow to Home Depot where I bought them and ask them to show me - what it is I do wrong.

Can you please do a video on how to tie the bottom ends of the blinds
I pulled it too hard when lowering the blinds and now one end of the knot from the bottom has come undone and it’s a pain to tie it back again so that the blind moves up and down like the other end

Hi @ZShawn, I think I need more information. If the strings came untied, they would go inside a hole on the bottom side of the bottom rail and are held in place with a plastic plug. I don’t know if you HAVE TO tie them in a knot or just plug them back up in the hole at the right length. You may be able to plug the hole with a piece of eraser or cork. Your blinds could be uneven for another reason -- the tension cord is uneven.

Thanks. You are supposed to open them like straight out, or level-like, before lowering or raising the whole thing. Turn the hanging rod, until they re in the full open position, before raising or lowering them. They will last much longer.
