My family had one of these and it's what I learned to drive in. Loved these! The styling aged well I think. It had a very useful and utilitarian interior. Very roomy! And the windshield wipers were so cool lol! They rode very smoothly and where very comfortable to drive.
Chassis is based on the A body, and is even referenced in GM technical as being the same as a Celebrity Wagon. Easily shown by the transverse beam rear end, where W bodies are independent suspension. Not sure why you think it’s a CL. “Base-trim versions featured chrome exterior trim while CL versions were produced with red exterior trim and badging”
@@AidanCristofaro You are correct. I was quoting Wikipedia which was actually wrong so I later corrected it. Red is base, opposite of the sedan which red is Eurosport. Chrome is CL, which means different interior cloth fabric and different hubcap. That’s it, but it’s something.
That third row was all mine as a 90s kid! Pulling out all those seats to move stuff using the rear sucked though haha. But hell I learned how to drive in our family’s Dustbuster haha
I like 1990s cars because they had the column shifter and were modern plus unique.

You really know how to make a good video. Very informative.

Nope. The base models had the red accents and different upholstry. The 1992 brochure I have explicitly says that. Perhaps different in the US.
