@plutonash2545 . Not all. For example, as far as I'm aware Reinhardt's VA is an American despite the character being German and he barely has any voice lines in the German language anyway. That being said, they definitely are trying to give new characters a VA from their country of origin.
Actually, they've done that for awhile. Rein is German even tho he doesn't speak German, but Mercy speaks Swiss-German to compensate. Same with Reaper being Hispanic but not speaking Spanish and Sombra speaking Spanish instead, and the same with Pharah being Egyptian but not speaking Arabic, as they have Ana for that. They actually get voice-actors who know the character's language fluently when the character speaks it often, they never skimp on that and I love it. @@highlander8402

It's so weird that they added horizon lunar colony voice lines when that map's not even in the game anymore. I know it's in custom games but barely anyone plays it.
Overwatch is sort of using lifeweaver flirting voice lines to imply who might be fruity (had a line asking Bap out on a date before Bap was announced as bi) so I imagine they’re doing that with him (though no need since he and Bap were pretty much confirmed lovers)

You know, they could give Mauga one of the Mask's ( the old movie with Jim Carrey ) lines " Somebody stop me. " when Mauga gets powered up from Anna's ulti. :) Feel free to tell me your opinions. :) Plus it would be a very good little easter egg and reference to the Mask movies.
He should have a unique line for Bastion. When killing him, he should at least say that he noticed his minigun, and he gotta give some respect to him because Mauga has miniguns too.
If I had a nickel for every game I played that had a character that looked like Maui from Moana, I'd have two nickels, but it's weird that it happened twice
there was like one doomfist line he says to him after you kill only mauga it’s “Remember you wanted this challenge.” Or i could be wrong but i only seen doomfist say that to mauga but i could be wrong
i expected bad blood between him and baptiste but they talk theyre close friends still lol, i got a diff impression from the comics but i imagine mauga can respect bap doin what he wants
Other voicelines for him: "silly little sayings" That one voiceline: .....Burn...... Idk why but it really gives off the same energy as the litch from adventure time saying "fall"
i play this game for thos interactions, that being said, they acknowledge that its ass to play against flying heroes as tank and i love the voiceline for it
