I’m trying really hard to give this judge a chance, but she’s just kind of insufferable. You’d think they were in Mayberry the way she acts about technology. And she treats the lawyers like she’s their kindergarten teacher.

I have a problem with what I said I have a problem with. I’ve watched many many trials and have watched many many judges maintain perfect order without this nonsense.
The judge is so bias! She knows the alberts! Her brother represented Chris Albert in a DUI, and he killed a man. Sean Albert calls her Aunt Bev. She owns a seaside house near the Alberts, and they share the same beach. She lied under oath!
It's "bias𝗲𝗱." For example, a person can't be "prejudice;" instead they're "prejudiced."
That’s why the defense wanted her to recuse herself from this case, as she should have AND the state trooper should have as well!
Whoaaaa this needs to be brought to the AOC and called in as conflict
Why is this judge so rude and bothered ?? It’s obvious how this trial is about to go. It’s too bad she won’t be honest and recuse herself, considering she has ties with witnesses in the case and is 100% biased.
If she loses it will be due to her lawyers incompetence.

EXACTLY. Jury can't know manner of death in a homicide and defense cannot question the coroner why he/she made manner of death "undetermined" and not "homicide" inline with the homicide charge. Clearly, because its not clear this is a vehicular homicide, given Officer O'Keefe is beat and chewed up.
Please look up what a judge’s job responsibilities entail. “Rules of evidence” is an actual thing.
She lets the CW drone on and on with hardly any questions. Then when the defense starts talking she’s asking for basically their whole strategy! AND adding her two cents. “He wasn’t the only investigator”. Like, what?! This is wild.

All part of the plan. The plan is what you allow, state knows, defense finds out at last moment. Same with discovery. Justice has become very shady. Like not letting jury know manner of death in a murder trial, and namely cause Coroner made the manner "indetermined" not "homicide" and why he/she did it sounds like we or jury will never know because I heard she said he can't be cross exaimined. Defense is getting kneecapped.

CHAIN OF CUSTODY in regards to the blood test. Does Massachusetts observe the chain of custody in bac? There is an entire protocol for collecting blood/urine to test for drugs and/or alcohol. IMO this was not followed. Yes sometimes blood is tested in order to determine what treatment is appropriate but not to be used in a court of law.
The Title should be **Innocent Woman FRAMED for Murdering Her Officer Boyfriend By The Corrupt Cops & Cohorts Who Killed Him**

The police officer that was killed was lured by other police officers who had a beef with the him. They all were drinking at a house party where he reportedly was then beaten to death and left to die in the snow. The house was owned by “the 3rd party culprit” another officer who is accused of beating him. The officers investigating the scene were all family and friends of the home owners. They knew Karen Reed had been drinking and they are trying to blame her for hitting him with her car. Evidence shows that the police officer (home owner throwing the party) never came out of his house to see the ambulance fire trucks state troopers on his lawn, after the incident he threw away the basement carpet, wear he was thought to have been beaten, sold the house and got rid of the dog. His sister in law who was in the house at the time at the party googled “how long to die in the snow”.
The way KR reacted when it was discussed, it seems she is very worried about the SUV electronic data.

Yup the Lexus has all the evidence needed to convicted her. The state says it shows she accelerated 24 mph in REVERSE for 62 FEET at the crime scene

The complaints about this judge seem overwrought and ridiculous bordering on personal attacks. Makes me wonder how many pre-trial motions hearings some have watched. Other possibility is the Karen Read fan club is going hard in the comments. If I were the Commonwealth, I’d be worried about the lead prosecutor Mr. Lally who gives a less than stellar impression each time I see him. He struggles with succinctly making his point; responding to the judge’s questions; and articulating the Commonwealth’s positions. I’ll be curious to see how skilled he is at direct and cross-examinations and establishing a rapport with the jury.

@@TopCat8877 currently they are 13 and 16 and my understanding is he didn't adopt them but was a legal guardian. There was some custody dispute with their paternal grandparents.

@@AmyDurant-xf1md As they lived with Karen and John much of the time, the Commonwealth was always going to use them to make it appear the couple was always fighting. They weren't going to get a pass because of their ages as the CW sees them as the best bet to smear Karen.

@@Kutefairytale14 The problem with that theory is that they were all drunk but no one witnessed anything. Weird for a police officer not to have any cameras. No one even noticed a body on the front lawn as they left the party waking to their cars? She may have hit him. We just don’t know for sure until we see the evidence. It bothers me that people seem so certain of guilt or innocence of 1st degree murder. I just can’t put someone away for life without knowing and hearing ALL the evidence and not to have this judge not let the jurors hear that the FBI is investigating all of the Canton Police and the state trooper who was an investigator and KNEW the cop who owns the house and is the 3rd party culprit said to have lured him to his house and beaten him to death. Albert then threw his phone away destroyed evidence by ripping up his basement carpet, selling the house and giving his dog away. All after he is accusing Karen Reed of 1st degree murder on his front lawn. Why didn’t he come out of his house? I mean even if I weren’t a 1st responder and someone was killed on my front lawn I’d be out there seeing what’s going on. He is held to a higher standard being a 1st responder. Too many accusations of evidence tampering too.
