It'll tow it. It's only like 3k lbs. But with a half ton, you wouldn't want to load it down to capacity. But then again, just depends on the 1/2 ton you have. For the 2020 Ford F150: "The highest tow ratings by cab are 13,200 pounds for the 2WD SuperCrew equipped with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost and 6.5-foot bed. For the SuperCab, the maximum rating is 12,000 pounds with the 3.5-liter EcoBoost, 2WD and 6.5-foot bed."
@@dakotashireman6404 assuming you have the 5.3 (gearing matters too) you'd be around 9k lbs towing capacity. Minus trailer weight of 3k lbs and any other payload in your truck, you're looking at approx. 5.5k - 6k lb towing capacity for your truck. So, bottom line, this trailer would work for your truck. Also, keep in mind the payload capacity of the trailer... its not 7k lbs. It's 7k lbs minus the weight of the trailer.
how many cubic ft is this trailer?
wonder if my 1/2 ton would tow this using for junk removal

I wouldn't, I have a 5x10 that weighs 2k and even empty you can feel it, loaded with something heavy like topsoil or gravel its very sketchy.
