From a lift standpoint they should do the same. Ironbull uses an oversize 5x20 hoist on all sizes whereas the industry generally uses the 5x20 only on a 16', if at all. 5x16' is a 'normal' hoist. A 5x16' hoist on a 14' dump will lift about 6.9 tons (legal payload is about 5 tons, and with tongue weight another 1-ton). A 5x20' scissor hoist Ironbull uses will lift about 8.5 tons. For what it's worth, the 5x20 hoist on the 14K model is the same hoist used on a triple axle.
Thanks for all your info. Can you make a video about maintenance of this trailer??
