I work with a 67 year old girl at McDonald’s. She is the sweetest coworker you’ll ever meet! She’s never been late, and never calls out. She tells me “I don’t care if the doctor wants me to retire, I’ll bored myself to death if I don’t work”.
I think the fact that the MacDonald's franchisee gave this man a job is a wonderful thing. God bless both the franchisee and this hard-working gentleman. I hope Dan has a wonderful retirement; job well done.
Wonderful story and wonderful man. Even in retirement, he was thinking of going back to work. So much dedication and love for his job and the people he served. I wish him only the best in retirement.
The Down syndrome community are some of the sweetest most genuine people ever! They are just like us. But that sweet innocence and love for others. Is a lesson everyone needs to learn 💚
Ive had the privelage of working with a lot of disabled people in many of my jobd. The ones i worked with were nice hard working people. They always are positive work hard and are reliable. As a manager i hired a few. Best workers i had. Maybe took a bit longer to train but they tried hard which is good enough.
My name is Julia Vandell Brown l am a handicapped disabied woman who want to work but seem like nobody want let me work they want give a chance to prove myself to the job.
Looks good on mc'donalds lots of special needs workers work there.lot's of videos on you tube.they are good workers.they are there everyday and. On time.👍
Every time my dad went there he'd roll his eyes and shake his head when he seen that guy.. dad would say " well I know my order gonna be f%$ked up today"🖕🖕
I hope that he comes across a 12 year old boy who does not want his to revolve around people like this man, and then inflicts serious harm on him to wipe out his dreams involving these situations involving these special needs people, because then this boy who is 12 year old will then have an awful lot of girls his own age accepting him that are not involved with these special needs programs. Yes I am saying the exact same thing on behalf of a 12 year old girl who would turn against a woman who like this man, because then boys her own age will accept her that are not in special needs programs.
In 33 years that guy's probably had 15,000 coworkers
What an amazing human being. Bless his heart.
lol
My hat's off to the guy. I wouldn't want to work there 33 minutes.
That's because your I.Q. isn't 50.
Good for him for doing this job for 33 years! He seems like a good person.
Just don't trust him to complete your homework for you.
Good wage slave*
This man was able to hold a job despite having special needs, yet there's able body people who claim they can't get a job.
33 years . Wow!
Bunch of people are planktons. Lol

Just because he has a visible disability does make his more valid than any else's.
cuz if they fired him it'd be all over the news
bless his heart

Most who are in this line of work don't last three months let alone 33 years. What a man and great work ethic.

A very hard working man and being happy
He should have been the spokesperson for McDonald’s period
Solid brother. I had no idea he's in his 60s looking at him, what is his regimen?
I totally love this story
Danny, you're awesome! Enjoy your well earned retirement.
That's completely rare. You really don't see people make a career at McDonald's.
He’s disabled they were scared to fire him. And most certainly took advantage of him it’s McDonald’s.
Hope you're enjoying your retirement, Daniel!
Congratulations Daniel
These young people can learn alot from you.
Congratulations buddy You rock 🪨🪨

I bet they were a pleasure to work with. I've worked with people with learning disabilities & they bring so much joy to everyone who's around them.
Goddamn, if an asteroid was heading towards Earth, and a select few were chosen to escape and survive in a spaceship, this guy should be on it.
Angels on Earth 🥲
Would you want such an angel as your son?
I wonder what kind of retirement
Mc Donald's gave this wonderful man for 33 years of service.
Lol. Good one.

Him and Russell

And yet McDonald’s didn’t so much for him
Non-union wages for a multinational franchise.
How in the actual fuck did I get here???
I worked at Mc donalds when I was 16 then I got the fuck out of there after 20 minutes being there. Respect for that guy lasting that long.
Luke Billingsley why did you leave
+Venom0086 dark working with the public is not easy.....some people treat fast food and retail workers like dirt
Does he get paid more than minimum wage?
I bet, if you've been with a company that long you should have gotten raises
He should .. If he worked that long.
He got exploited. Disabled employees don't move up in the workforce.
Not a good company choice but at least his services were good.
Tim Slee Actually McDonald's likes to hire people with disabilities.
Who wants to bet McDonald’s sorry as$es paid him the same amount all 33 years 😒
Wait I thought all the employees had special needs
where are your parents?
Ha
Mcdonalds workers are pretty much made up of special needs people, teens, and ex cons these days!!!
Everyone is special buddy
