I would kill for that. I would put money down for that. GMM had Cookie Monster on recently! That was, like, the best GMM episode ever!

I've been involved with Sesame Street: The Musical and believe me, all of us wanna take a field trip to Sesame Place and pay homage. I haven't been since I was a kid but it was the shit. And who doesn't love Sesame Street? An all-Sesame Street theme park sounds like a brilliant concept.
EDIT: Also, someone should introduce Danny to Shalom Sesame, the Israeli-American Sesame Street co-production that every Jewish kid I know grew up watching. Sesame Street, especially if you're a Jew from New York City, is the absolute best.

So I study a lot of things, mostly history and art, but one of the most niche things I study is the impact of Early Childhood Media, specifically when talking about tough subjects like death or current events. So the most niche thing you could ever pick to focus on. But that has led me to discover things like the impact of Mr. Rogers and Officer Clemmons dipping their feet in a pool together, and the handling and amount of study the show's producers put in to Goodbye Mr. Hooper. I actually think that episode is THE best way on this planet to explain death to very young children as it is completely non-secular.

Good news, Dan. There’s another Sesame Place that opened in San Diego. Maybe you can visit that one.

Okay, this is utterly wild to me
I recently moved to southeastern Pennsylvania and I live maybe three miles from Sesame Place, if even. I grew up in the midwest so I'd never even heard of it until I moved here and all my coworkers said "oh wow, you live near Sesame Place?!" when I told them what town my apartment is in. Can't believe the weird waterpark thing I drive past on the way to Home Depot is a formative memory for Dan.
The cherry on top is that literally last night I told my brother it exists and he was like "oh wow, you should go as an adult!" before I explained to him that it's very much for young kids and predominantly a water park from what I've heard.
As a side note, though, as someone who lives here I wouldn't say it's "just outside of Philly". It's like an hour, maybe 45 minutes if there's magically no traffic, so if Dan's family drove an hour and fifteen minutes to get here, he would've been more or less equidistant between home and Philly.

My parents took my older brother to Sesame Place when he was really little in like the mid-90’s and I’ve always been so jealous. I still want to go.
(BTW they also opened a Sesame Place in San Diego last year)

Parents took me and my sister to Sesame when I was probably 5 or 6. I don't remember it too well but i have a picture they took of me next to a guy in the Bert costume and to say I look starstruck in it would be the understatement of the century

Dan gets Sesame fan brownie points for both knowing it’s “Snuffleupagus” (with a “p”), AND that they call him Snuffy for short.

I actually have a funny story about a trip to Sesame Place I had as a kid.
I was four years old at the time and my two sisters weren’t even a year old. There was this jungle gym thing I wanted to go on so my mom asked my dad to go on it with me while she watched the babies. I was breezing through the whole thing, meanwhile my dad, who was in his early 30s couldn’t keep up with me so he gave up halfway through and just decided to wait for me at the bottom of the slide at the end.
Well, by the time he got there, I had already gone down the slide and ran off to do something else. Eventually, my dad realized he had lost me and went into panic mode and was scrambling around the park looking for me. Eventually 30 minutes later he finds me waiting in line for a water slide or something completely oblivious to the fact that he was worried sick about me.

I also want to go to the Ghibli museum and be this tall, white woman who is way too excited to be sitting in the Cat Bus and shouting 'NEKO BASUUUUUUUUUUU!' and scaring the Japanese children. I guess I want to go and get kicked out. 😆
