Adam at Tinklers is a top bloke. He did me a really good deal on a new R7 last year. I've not ridden it yet - as I don't ride on the rain.....!
I would have thought the XSR GP would have been up your street.
The Grey and Black faired XSR caught my attention, would have in my collection.
Nice to have a quick chat with you outside Tinklers as I said I been going there for over 40 years there a great team and always a great deal to be had bought many bikes from them over the years ,👍

Good place tinklers. Not a big yam buff but I will say the red/yellow white xsr is lovely.
Have ordered the xsr900gp with the lower fairing, will be here next week! Can't wait 😊
i miss the 125 reviews
The problem is, not many manufacturers have 125 demo's and with legislation, 125's are going to become less and less available.
T7 now priced at 13K nobody in UK had a pay rise for over a decade. Xsr 125 fitted with 20p jubilee clips X4 on engine coolant pipes.
The new 900 is aimed at 80/90s dads who finally have a little spending money now kids have grown. Far better then Arbarth 900 but that's not difficult!
Could be any Yamaha shop after they were all bulled into financing the decor was it 100K?
It's not all bad though the new Rayzr scooter is the best bargain out there and could start a few new riders to try motorcycling.
No mention of MT10 the bike with a face only a mother could love.
LOL, there is an MT10 demo...I'll be having a look at that. The Rayzr is a suprise price and hopefully it is made well. I will ask if they have a demo of that to review.

Yamaha spend all that R&D money on the overcrowded electric bike market and the Niken, but don’t update the Super Tenere and FJR shaft drive bikes for Euro 5, leaving the market to BMW in the best selling large adventure market and large touring sectors
There is a new kid in town. SWM Stormbreaker V1200 look him up 😛
Problem is, no test bikes available in the UK and the dealer network doesn't indicate any UK dealers anywhere near me. Some in the UK that still sell SWM but not sure if they are official as SWM website doesn't show ANY UK dealers.

I think I know why you don't look a Yamahas too often, they seem to make extremely boring motorcycles, not just Yamaha, it seems to be a Japanese thing. It's really sad that the Japanese aren't trying to recapture some of there classic motorcycles, sorry its not good enough to just put a fairing and colour scheme on an xsr. At least Kawasaki make the Z900rs and Suzuki make a Katana but really all these manufactures should be looking at something special and exiting in the 400-600cc range. Surely they can see how the likes of RE and Triumph are selling in these segments.
