    This video is so freaking helpful because I recently bought the three forms of shin godzilla from bandai and while they're alright I know I can make them better. Thank you so much for this man.

    How do you hardened ur clay?

    • @TheHowbbyist
      @TheHowbbyist  4 месяца назад

      We use Apoxie Sculpt. It hardens by itself after some time once you mix part A and B.

      @@TheHowbbyistI know this is an old video but I've been rewatching it like ten times because I want to paint the godzilla minus one figure like this.
      But does the modge podge seal the paint well? can I still hold it and pose it?

    • @TheHowbbyist
      @TheHowbbyist  5 месяцев назад

      @@NoodleDee-bo2rr Yes once the paint dries up (give it at least 1 hour) you can already hold it to re-pose. You need to do this otherwise you wouldn't be able to paint the whole figure. Apply very thin layers at a time and then let it dry. We use a technique called dry brushing to apply the paint. This means we dab the brush on the paint and we paint the brush on a piece of paper until the brush is almost dry. Then we paint the figure with the brush. This ensures we don't apply too much paint that will cover up the tiny details of the figure. Even without mod podge, once the paint dries you can actually handle and pose it already. SHMA figures has a lot of texture so it keeps the paint well. Vinyl figures like this Orga are more smooth, so applying mod podge after painting is a must to protect the paint. Hope this helps. 😊
