You are encouraging me to put my mini braids back in my hair sis! I'm bogged down with my master's (getting towards the end) and I ain't got the TIME to be doing my hair all the time! 🤣🤣🤣 beautiful job and love the beads!
I feel you 😭 it’s hard finding the time to do my hair nowadays myself. Butttt I believe in you! You can do it!!
@@NaturalAcademia also as a university student, you might be able to get insurance through your university since some offer health insurance for students while they are enrolled. You do have to check and see if it is offered. You also probably can qualify for affordable health insurance through the govt as a student as well
How do you get your parts right for those? Mine always come out stiff and the roots make it look undone
@@weirdmyst7963 I have to use multiple mirrors to get the parts right. It can take quite a while lol
“When I get insurance…probably shouldn’t be sayin that on the internet” 😭 girl it be like that, I’m waiting for my insurance to come thru for a therapy session too 🤣🤣
I do the same and I don't think of it as a punishment . Once I decide to take a break to eat before I've completed what I was doing then my performance will be greatly affected. I become lazy after eating and usually go into slow mode so I prefer not to eat until am done. It motivates me to work faster so I can eat.
You did a good job. I love the hair
It came out good
I might just do something similar next month 🙂
Thank you!!! 💜💜
i'm retaining the length protective styling; been doing it since Nov. of last year 2021....but im waiting to see the growth!! its me trying to figure out how much hair i grow per year sis. so actually i'm taking pics and keeping track that way. thanks for these vids. they are helpful and encouraging on this journey
Period!! I love that for youuuuu 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
sis yes! after many set backs, i see that not protective styling and keeping a right moisture balance kept me at shoulder length for years....ty again@@NaturalAcademia
The braids came out looking cute. The beads are definitely giving a spring vibe. But, girl you have a lot of patience! Long before my hair reached waist length all braiding and twisting stopped. It is just too time-consuming. The most I'll do is two braids and pin them up. Other than that I wear a WnG.
I love it, they are perfect 👏👏👏 I like the look of "real" hair braided with or without braids than hair extensions put in. You really are the hair whisperer, whatever you're doing don't change because your hair is thriving 🌹❤️
Love your videos! You encouraged me to get beads and I LOVE them!
Me too 😊
Thanks for watching ❤️❤️❤️
@@NaturalAcademia doesn't the grease and cream make it difficult to grip your hair when braiding? Cos a lot of the hair stylist that I go to complain that they can't grip my hair because of the products that i have in it😩
Your hair looks cute with the beads. Keep being you😍 I love the TGIN and Palmer's olive oil regiment, my hair is now past bra strap, been using it for a Year, great video👍 Be Blessed 🙏💖🌹
17:42 NOT CHILDISH AT ALL, I love it 100 percent!!
I've been rocking the beads for 2 months now, I love them. I like the long wooden ones. Keep up the good work! One love.
I love the noise the beads make it takes me back to some amazing childhood memories.
Plz anyone who thinks beads are childish are childish themselves they are fun and make the hairstyle look 10x better besides the lil clicking and clacking😑that's annoying
I agree 10000%
Well done you are a very resourceful young lady👏🏽🇯🇲😍
Beautiful results! 🔥
Thank you 😊❤️
I don’t eat until I’m done with I’m doing either, I don’t think it’s that bad lol I can’t go out and have fun unless I clean my room first or handle my responsibilities. I think the idea is having to go back to working after I’m doing relaxing. I work first and then play second
I like your videos .... gives me hope , i keep it simple now with wash day and moisturizing my hair because of watching you...
That’s wonderful to hear! Simplicity is best 😊
Have mini braids in right now. Best protective style imo.
Beads are so main character vibes, embrace the clacking 👏🏾👏🏾❤
22nd century natural has a tutorial on how she wraps her long beaded hair. if you have time its a good video
I FREAKIN LOVE IT🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
the beads elevated this i really love the style
I’m doing a cute lil bead style too but it’s African threading inspired by West African Baby
Investing 🤔 maybe I need to look into that as well lol
@@NaturalAcademia it’s so cute I been living the fantasy fr😭
Sooo cute, love the purple!😍💜
Thank you!!!
The braids themselves were very neat but you could have added a little product to the roots for a more neat sleek looking roots because it gives a lot of they been in for awhile.
@17:41, lol. but there's a variety of styles of wooden beads (on amazon) ...
Gonna watch your video when I am by my laptop, I’ll be back Steranda 😊
I used to do this all the time but now that my hair is longer I don't have the time anymore lol, took me 6 whole hours.... crazy
What made you switch the way you apply your products ? Usually you put the TGIN Daily Moisturizer then seal it in with the Palmers Olive Oil Grow Therapy & your hair stays moisturized for weeks..IDK I just think with you having high porosity hair + the recent protein overload your hair would need the extra moisture.
She's using a thick moisturizer so as time goes on it's going to get into her hair. Like the LOC method. She also said this way her hair doesn't shrink up and makes it easier to braid
@@sarahdanforth703 correct me if I’m wrong but Grease is a sealant so putting a sealant first then a moisturizer on top isn’t really moisturizing anything because the grease blocks moisture from getting in right ?...but I also understand her not wanting her hair to strink up 😏
@@justanniee3788 it is a sealant but it also runs rubs off or melts into the hair eventually. That's why the thicker moisturizer is used cause it lasts a bit longer on the hair. The method is basically like mixing your oils and conditioners so they get in at the same time
@@sarahdanforth703 oh okay got it learn something new everyday ☺️💯
cute style!
Thank you!!
You did a great job. Pretty 🌸
Woooooo

Heyy , my favorite protective hairstyle is french braids 🙂
I self need to do that to my hair. Great tutorial.
We call those steel wool. Usually when my hair feels like that, I get a conditioning spray or detangler (Mane and Tale) to loosen up the hair.
br u slayed fr
I use a nut milk bag to strain my aloe vera treatments and it helps alot with not getting flakes
I love the noise! I still bead my hair alot! And if it's not my hair making noise it's all the beads I have on my waist wrist and ankles! 😄✨🙌🏽💖
Finally found someone with the same hair texture and length as me ❤️
I was the 200th like!!!
It definitely looks cute❤️I love it
Love the hairstyle! You are beautiful, Keep doing what you do 💕
I love to see this. As a black guy I love to see black women embrace their natural hair, it may sound like I'm simping but man that's attractive.
I did mine today wash and braid 😅✌🏾
Yeeessss!! 👏🏾
20:32 Don't ver apologize, make your videos however long, I'll watch it ALWAYS!!
Since you apply the grease before the moisturizer, how does the moisture penetrate your hair? Is it working for you?
As time goes on the grease does wear off and the moisturizer slowly gets into the hair. That's why it's key to use a thick moisturizer
super pretty :)
Dude I never knew u could use grease on the length of my hair I thought it was only for the scalp.
I have a certain look to take pictures with these only with brown wooden beads, let’s hope I do it soon. 😭🤎
Your parts and braids look good, sis! I like beads too, but they are annoying to me and hurt to lay on
YOU DID A GOOD JOB 👏🏽👏🏽
I just had to yell that to you sorry lol 🤗🥰
19:22 Most definitely did a GOOD JOB, beautiful!!
Do you twirl the ends of your hair when braiding? If so, Do you see little pieces come off the ends while doing that? What do you suggest to stop that from happening?
Don't know how you strained the Aloe Vera but if you used a sieve, try a cheese cloth instead
Could you maybey try teacting to natural or 4c hair video's? I think that would be a good idea. And the beads are soo beautiful 😍
Can you do a video on how you style them with beads
Maybe I’ll do a little Short/Reel of the different ways I style the beads. Idk if people would watch a whole video
Also you misspelled Natural 😖
Thank youuu!!! Just changed it 😭😭
Love your vídeos, can i do box braids with fake hair or single braids to do a 3 month challenge for hair growth? I am starting my new hair journey. Thank you
Could you please do a tutorial on how to braid, flat twist or Cornrow All the ones I have watched seem to be confusing, or I just can’t figure it out :(
Just cut my locs about 7 months ago bc they were falling out and starting my natural hair journey.
Chile, no ones judging you for putting beads on your hair 🤣 it looks cute 😭❤ you worry too much ❤
SAKINNNNNN all the way through, after 2 weeks!! DEAD WRONG 17:12 I'll watch you put beads in your hair any day anyTIMEEEE
💜💜💜💜
💜💜💜💜
Love her vidsss
It's super pretty.
You look great! Your a sweet and beautiful person. I am a quiet person and stay to myself. Keep God the Father in your life. Pray God send the right people in your life because you are a genuine person stay true to you.
Love your videos. But doesn't the grease and cream make it difficult for you to grip your hair tightly and properly?
Hey Ak you misspelled styling in your title😅
How long do you keep them in ? Do you wash them ?
You and the bead sounds lol
Great job on this style 👏🏽
Why can't you see stylist to have your hair straightened, it would make a nice video too.
Ok but ur skin💫
Do you ever use hell in your routine?
If so how in what order would you use the gel in your methods whether is LCO or LOC?
I love it🥰 how do you sleep with all those beads in🤔
I wear a very small bonnet or tie them down in a bun with a scarf before putting on a bonnet lol
@@NaturalAcademia cool thanks for the reply ❤️
Are you Haitian?
Yes she is
"why does it take so long to do my hair" you have feet of hair. Literal feet!
You’re Haitian?! Sak ap fete cherie
