Thank you so much😊 I leave them in for a couple of weeks between 6 and 8 weeks. Sometimes I can have them in for upto 3months. How I take care of them: I water them every other day, this means that I spray a generous amount of water on the braids and my scalp using a spray bottle 3-4 times a week. I oil my scalp every 2 weeks with coconut and olive oil. I also take at least 2minutes to massage my scalp, to get the blood flowing and ensure the oil has gotten into the roots. I wash my scalp and hair every 3weeks with a shampoo and apply coconut oil and a leave-in treatment. I always make sure to cover my head with a scarf, when sleeping. I make sure to tuck in my ends in whatever style I'm doing, except when I decide to wear my hair down(which is rare). I've done a video on the styles I usually wear. Please check it out to give you an idea of how I style these mini braids. If I decide to have them in longer than 6weeks, I usually undo the front and sides and braid fresh mini braids, just to maintain some semblance of neatness. When the time comes for undoing them, I take my time. I 1st spray water on the braids, apply some oil and leave in treatment then I proceed to undo the braids, patiently. No rush. It's important to undo the braids when oiled and moisturized, to minimize breakage and tangling. I really hope this helps. ❤

@@alphonsemariusca9574 So sorry to hear that you lost your hair. The good thing is that, for the most part, hair grows back. Be patient with it, moisturizing, protective styling, staying hydrated and avoid having your hands on your hair will help with the growth.
Hi😊 Mini twists are a great alternative to mini braids. They are preferred because they are easy to do and take down. I'd say that they will definitely contribute to your hair growth because they are a fantastic protective style. The hair won't grow faster but the inches it grows, with time, will be retained by the mini twists. Hair growth definitely is a process, you can't rush it but you can develop good hair practices that will help your hair to grow longer and mini twists is a protective style that definitely contributes to hair growing longer, with time. Patience is 🔑 I hope that answers your question 🙏🏽
I take a few months before I do them again. In between that time, I like to do chunky twists that I have on for 3-4weeks. In a year, I do the mini braids protective hairstyle 3 times.
it looks so pretty. how long do you leave them in and how do you maintain them?
Thank you so much😊

Hi from Barcelona! Thanks for the inspiration ❤🎉😊
Hi there! You're welcome 😊
Have you tried doing rope twist?
It stays as long as the braid and it is easier to take down. Just braid the roots and rope twist the rest.
Hi there.
Yes, I've tried twists but I prefer mini braids way more. I actually enjoy braiding them and the undoing process.
💜💜💜

It’s beautiful, how long will you leave it in??
Thank you🙂 I have it between 8&10 weeks.
Hi sweetie 😘
I love to braid my hair like yours. But that tiny braids won't be easy for me. Can i grow my hair faster by doing mini twist?
