  • This is part 1 of service overhaul for Technics turntable model SL3300.
This turntable is from the 70's and it has never been serviced so it's time to take it all apart, clean the old grease and oil, apply new grease and put it back together. And test all functions.

I have the opportunity to buy one of these, your video is making me second guess that decision.

Hi, and thanks for watching my video.
Why not buy it? it's a great turntable and definitely well built. The only thing wrong with mine was the grease that dried up after 40 years. Maybe the one you buy will have already been serviced in the past and you'll have a turn table that will last another 40 years. Cheers.

@@franklima1269 I’m going to see how much he wants for it. I know it hasn’t been serviced, but he said it worked the last time he used it. I really don’t need another turntable but this old technics stuff is nice, and not easy to come by.

Hi, Thanks for watching my video. I used a very simple setup. It was just an old iPhone 6 on a tripod. I had the iPhone pointing down all the times. No special lighting, just the ceiling lights from my kitchen. And to edit it I used iMovie.
