My my, well this was a masterpiece worthy of the oldschool SCP wiki, like the 1000-3000 series'. Kudos to the author, and supremely well read as always. The calm, understated tone maintained throughout really made the whole thing extremely eerie. Compliments all around. My only complaint is the super abrupt cliffhanger ending ... Seems like there was a huge missed opportunity there that could have wrapped up the story in any number of excellent ways... Thats a shame, really. But aside from that, great piece.
The problem with the story is how terrible the security is in this high-security clandestine facility. I worked rinky-dink security and none of this would fly. There would be cameras, sign-ins, redundant confinement measures, CONSTANT STAFF CHECK-UPS.
Fiction often dramatically understates how much security is actually present at high-security facilities to make the inevitable failure of that security more believable.
@simtexa I'm afraid it just comes off as not being familiar with security. If the audience is slapping their head going "why did they do that!?" Instead of "uh oh" we enter the "because plot has to happen" territory. It's the difference between a long-neglected and mouse-nibbled cable finally shorting out and just not having a camera in a high-security area. Strive for believability.

Great story, and your reading really put me in the head of the overwelmed guard frozen in fear at many pimts. But I most admid that it became repetitve about the incompetance and pasivity of the MC. I can u derstand in points of hight tension, especially thanks to your acting, but the same over and ier in an extended period of time had me screaming of rage more than scare XD

Great narration on a creepy tale where the antagonist outwardly does "nothing" and wins. Classic SCP styled inspiration on this one.
