If you only count violent crimes involving non lethal weapons crafted from foam, that occur between the hours of 7am and 9am in country hamlets, where the aggravating factor was repressed childhood trauma from Timmy Mallet swinging his hammer and the victims survived in a partially vegetative state..the crime reduction strategy has been a massive success, so ner to you sir.

Crime is down so why are convicted criminals being released early, non custodial sentences being given and people waiting years for court trials and justice.

It wasn't clear that the question about Rwanda and Congo being different countries was rhetorical from watching the clip again. Philp looked and sounded confused and flustered. Also to answer a genuine question from a member of the public asking about what would have happened to his family with a rhetorical question like "well Rwanda is a different country to Congo isn't it" just comes across as very condescending, but i guess thats to be expected from the Tories.

If the vast majority don’t find knives or any contraband then surely there must be a more effective way of spending police resources than hounding innocent members of the public. I’m an accountant but have been stopped 10 times in my life. In my experience people that don’t look like me are just as likely to hold a knife if they are in that age group.

The stats don't care about your feelings. Look at knife crime over the last 50 years then look at it in the 50 years before that. Facts are facts. Young black males are far more likely to be either stabbing or being stabbed than any other demographic.
