Love all of these conversations. I think an interesting topic would be either what specific leathers, constructions, and makers you guys are personally interested for your next boot(s), and/or what are your personal favorite boots and why. Great stuff!

I’d like to see you guys do a video of an “up close and personal” of all the customs you have and where they came from. Maybe a video on your favorite boots and or boot makers. It’s very interesting to see and listen to your experiences and knowledge. Those would be a couple of cool videos.
Nice vid! Mabye one about how to do measurements beyond the Brannock devise and an explanination of those measurements. Or just showing how to get those measurements.
Just ordered a pair from Junkard at the very end of March. Tangguh is the main person on Whatsapp, super responsive. I chose their Orion design, which is their version of the Alden Indy. Has a slightly higher and rounder toe box. They recommend only 1 last for this design and was not accommodating of choosing other lasts. So Junkard I would say can do most of the customisations, but set their boundaries quite clearly about fixed lasts for certain designs and adjustments for lasts. I've got about 3 to 4 months of waiting to do but will likely check in with them every month or so.
I'm loving this series by the way, gave me enough knowledge and confidence to make this MTO order in the first place. Thank you!

I’ve seen a pair of Wescos that have a similar flame pattern on a Japanese boot page. I think it was called a pheonix.
I'll have to go Google that. I've seen Wesco go off menu, and they do seem to try hardest in the Japanese market, but I have seen anything like that from them.
Just fyi, Sagara is adopted into Indonesian from Sanskrit (much of Indonesian retains its pre-Islamic origins). Sagara means ocean and I have not yet heard an American pronounce the word properly. The stress is on the first syllable. Say SA-ga-ra. So it's nothing like "cigar-ra" as it were. Just trying to be helpful. Also, mention of Monroe? I have a pair, a monkey boot, quite nice, much the same quality. Two older pairs of Benzein (now Briselback) have also been well made and properly fit. Carry on, brothers.
I like their designs but I do not own a pair. One of the biggest issues with Indonesian makers is its close to impossible to try them all and I focus on higher arch lasts. There is actually a couple other makers I follow on Instagram not mentioned here as well. We tried to stick with brands we had or had seen in person. Thanks for watching!
