I finally decided to take this on and I have 3 takeaways from this: - I would never wish this on God’s worst enemy. I’ve installed intakes, changed spark plugs, serpentine belts, etc. and this was still the most PITA job I’ve ever done. - 2020s and on seem to lack the black hose that you disconnect before opening the cabin filter door, it confused me a bit at first but seemed to make things easier. - One thing not mentioned is there is a plastic clip at the bottom of the cabin filter door which needs to be pulled in order to open the door. - The small screw all the way at the rear of the bottom plastic panel was one of the hardest I’ve ever had the displeasure of removing. That being said, good tutorial. My Stelvio is at 40k miles now and I couldn’t tolerate the cabin smell anymore. Still ended up taking me roughly 2 hours to do this.
Glad you were able to do this and get the job done. Trust me when I say I think Alfa built the car around the cabin air filter. I currently have a apprentice and she asked how to do the cabin filter and so I advised her to watch the video because the actual Alfa instructions are vague and she would lose her ass trying to do it that way. She followed the video and got it done in about 45 minutes or so. Thanks for watching and all the support. I appreciate all my subscribers so much.
I own a Stelvio and now I know why the dealer charges so much to replace these. Ridiculous location for this filter. Terrible design. Its made to never come out. Insane
Took me about 45ish minutes. Video definitely helped get it off, then putting it all back in place was easy enough. I couldn't get the drain tube out, but was able to work around it. I can't imagine doing it with the glove box still in place. Alfa engineers be trolling bruh.
Tell me about it. I used to hate doing them in the beginning and once I got used to doing them I get them done in around 10 minutes or so. Absolutely ridiculous design.
Absolutely not. Ill sell the car before i go through all that. What a great car, but horrible planning. Get out of here. Thanks for the video. For thr people who will actually do it
Did a full service on this car at the dealership I work at, and I can honestly say this is the most mind-numbingly horrendous quality vehicle i’ve ever touched. If you or a loved one is considering purchasing one of these abominations kindly rethink your life decisions or seek therapy.
I did this a few weeks ago on my Giulia Ti Sport. I suspect the neighbor's kids learned many new colorful words that day.
Trust me when I say, on my first attempt at this I was painting the shop with colorful words as well.

Guess you have never done spark plugs on a Porsche or Jaguar. Took me 8 hrs to do 8 plugs on the jag
Honestly bro, that’s a ridiculous location for a cabin filter.
I couldn’t agree more.

Well that’s something I never intend on doing. Never had a vehicle with a more inaccessible filter location. Crazy!
no shit. Who designs this crap.
Any product that should be changed every 15000 miles needs to be easily accessible and not by tearing the dash and glovebox out. This is BS

This video was really helpful. Showing all the fastener locations made the process much easier for me. Thanks!
Thanks for your support.
Simple, clear, and thorough...thanks Bro 👊🏽
Looking forward to do this. Like everything ALFA, the most Italian way to perform simple tasks.
I’m surprised you didn’t have to pull the engine for this!
Alfa laid a filter on the ground and built the SUV around the filter ! OMG talk about we are making you go to service ......thanks Alfa
Lol exactly!
Your videos are very informative. Keep posting. 👍🏼
Love your videos. Short and informative. Thanks for posting.
Thanks for the love and support
Damn I recently purchased a Stelvio, ordered the part. I don’t think I will be the one doing this. Crazy!
Lol yeah it’s a challenge for first timers no doubt
What a damn headacheeee. Thanks to your video we got it done
Reminds me of a BMW e36. The filters for those come with a foldable design with 3 sections.
I've been looking everywhere for a good video on this. Thanks for posting!
Thanks for the love and support.
Thanks for posting this 🎉
Thanks for the support.
Is it the same process on the Giulia?
Eccezionale spiegazione 👌🏻
Grazie 😎
Zandron? dal veneto?
Thank you for making the only decent video on how to do this shit 😂
🤣 No problem. I appreciate the love and support.
couldn't make it more difficult?
It’s annoying, but wasn’t too bad a job, thx!
Dude... I'll just pay the dealership to do it fck it 😂😂😂
Ohh its all good with this top car but this thing is terrible to change🙄
Absolutely not. Ill sell the car before i go through all that. What a great car, but horrible planning. Get out of here.

I'll never go to that trouble. Poor design
