Wanted to let you know that tiny pieces of chicken that come off of chicken bones after cooking it for broth can be used for making potstickers, which can be eaten with a dipping sauce or in wonton soup or egg drop soup for another meal. Little time consuming, but worth it. 😊

sweet onions (Vadallia) are not like any other onions - they have higher water content - not a good variety to freeze - cook faster - as name implies have a sweeter taste not intense like Spanish onions or some red / yellow onions - that said they are onions and for those of us who can’t eat any other kind they are absolutely wonderful - for years I’ve eaten them (available all year round - Georgia, Peru, Mexico & Texas) as a vegetable - now thanks to cluster migraines I’ve had to drastically reduce my consumption of onions - am using them as flavouring rather than vegetable - can’t imagine ever being without onions again so am so very careful so I can have flavourful food and enjoy sweet onions 🇨🇦🙏
While I applaud you for the budget friendly meals that look yummy I feel like the prices are not attainable for a lot of people. Aldi is not a common store and their prices are not comparable to any place else. I wish you would have done a store more available to people so the price comparison is not so far off because these items would have easily been a hundred dollars or more. I really like what you did with the ingredients though.
My local Walmart has almost identical prices and some things are cheaper there while some things are cheaper at Aldi. Some people have told me their local Kroger is cheaper than my Aldi but our Kroger brand stores are super expensive, so I definitely think it depends on the area. Maybe you could see if your Walmart has similar prices? I know most other stores are so expensive these days
After the 4th these ones I had to stop watching. Is it a RUclips requirement for all to say “these ones”. People it is these tomatoes, these onions. It is NOT theses ones. My mother would knock us into next week if we ever used those 2 words together. But then again she was a teacher.

I will say, I have never gotten chicken from aldi that didn't have feathers in it 🤮
While I applaud you for the budget friendly meals that look yummy I feel like the prices are not attainable for a lot of people.
@@LauraLegge I live in Canada and just about everything is 2X or 3X as much up here, but I did like the meals you made
@@virginiahaskins8900 oh wow! 😯 I keep hearing how high the prices are there. I hope they come down for y’all soon!
@@virginiahaskins8900Canada's pay is also higher too tho. Isn't it?
Everyplace has some stores that are cheaper than others. We live in a high cost of living area. I still can find cheaper prices.
After the 4th these ones I had to stop watching. Is it a RUclips requirement for all to say “these ones”. People it is these tomatoes, these onions. It is NOT theses ones. My mother would knock us into next week if we ever used those 2 words together. But then again she was a teacher.
